I dare say it was a historical win of Felix. Simon is the same national team member who knows Felix the most and he played like a tactic fox. He tried to break down Felix mentality but little kid overcame it bravely. Huge win Felix.

Yeah the match during the French championship was uneven, Gauzy was overwhelmed by Felix's speed and accuracy but this time it was really really close and Gauzy's backhand really troubled Felix from time to time, it's worth noting. Congratulations to both players!

Simon Gauzy s'éloigne peut-être un peu trop de la table,mais c'est son style de jeu plutôt "mi-distance" mais face à un joueur comme Felix Lebrun qui lui est plutôt assez près de la table,le challenge est difficile à remporter.Ceci dit,Simon Gauzy est un joueur vraiment complet, capable de flipper en revers des balles basses et courtes à une vitesse impressionnante... Beau spectacle que nous ont donné ces deux champions du TT Français.
de toute façon ,à ce niveau ,les compétiteurs sont tous excellents et il suffit de pas grand chose pour que le match bascule ! on notera quand même les nerfs d'acier de Félix!
