Hey your approach on jumping rope is great and you make it look effortless. I’m gonna practice even harder now using everything you shared. I totally quit trying to do it because I never could get the hang of it and it was frustrating and I even caught myself with the rope a bunch of times. I had basically lost all my confidence. But you just gave me the courage and incentive to start over. You’re the man Carlos! Love from the southeast stay safe strong and keep punching 🥊

Your video on how to use the Jump Rope should be taught in every school because it provides the proper instructions on how to condition the body instead of ending up with a bad experience and a painful back. Muhammad Ali's footwork made him a great boxer.

This is a very informative and well done video. Great instruction - every detail. In fact, no human should ever land on their heel doing anything, ie: Running, Walking and any athletics. The reason we do is huge cushioned shoes, laziness and asphalt and concreteing the hell out of the Earth. The foot has a natural cushion. Well done

I've never heard any "expert" say that the shoulders should be the motor in swinging the rope.
So far as a beginner, this has really helped me become more consistent(I think I was overusing my hands). Thanks.

    Oh My thank you .....
I have got to be the clumsiness lol ....
I hugged the floor like a dozen times ....ugh
    I'm 5'2 & 1/2
    Not tall
    I really didn't know the length .....
    Yours makes sense
By the underarm not your ears (there's actually somebody saying putting itupby your ears ...TOO LONG! for me )
Then I was jumping like trying to reach the 2nd stair step n standing like I was in position to dosquats ....lol
This you did is so much easier .....and you incorporated like cumbia wepa step footwork
Which clicked n made sense for me with what you're explaining ....
Thank You ! For this breakdown!

Venum elite vs. fairtex bjv1. (Going to be using them for sparring as well as some bag work) which ones do you think I should lean towards? I have elite sports at the moment, and I do like the more compact design of a Muay Thai glove.

bro i need that cute slow the fuck down turtle you got there--people drive so recklessly in my neighborhood--thanks for the jump rope video. I can jump rope like you can (took me months) but it's my all time favorite exercise so I love to watch jump rope videos and refresh myself on proper form. what really helped me was imagining that i was pulling the rope underneath me instead of being perfect on rhythm

i've been trying to jump rope since a couple of days. Maybe i'm too slow or something, but when I jump rope, first one goes alright, second one the rope sticks around either around my shoulder or sometimes in my hair. I've got not idea what i'm doing wrong. Is it im too slow, the rope has no momentum?
the rope is the correct length, i've measured it the way he said to..
