How lovely you are picking up crochet again! I'm going through the exact same thing with an enthusiastic toddler while trying to learn Tunisian crochet lol. My daughter is 2 and waaay too excited 😊. I've been both knitting and crocheting for about 20 years and it's been really fun learning something new!

The basket is adorable. How about adding a tiny bit of stiffening. I’m not sure what the content is on the stiffening but sewers use it a lot to stiffen their material Diane
