I worked at ILM. It is now infested with DEI and mediocrity. Disney has made zero investment in their pipeline. ILM Singapore, a very old ILM studio, closed and jobs were moved to India, causing the quality to plummet. We used to be proud of working at ILM; now everyone is ashamed

Hmm, what years were you there?? I worked in Singapore for 15 years, And I know people who worked there! The reason it's closing is AI has changed everything in graphics, CGI productions, and SFX. You don't need huge production houses anymore and add in investors' dividends falling under 30%. Btw, Just by you mentioning DEI tells me you did not work there. The studio has been hiring Singaporeans, and Indians since it opened years before this whole Republican DEI and Woke silliness started.

-Leia has NO business even being in this show. The fact that the plot centers around her, is one of the biggest issues with the show
-They turned Vader into a loser who doesn’t even keep his word. He says multiple times he will kill Reva if she messes up.
-No shot Obi Wan just leaves Vader there at the end. Its quite clear that he understands Anakin is dead. So why would he let Vader live.
-In reality the story isn’t strong enough to compete with the OT or PT. It relies heavily on fan service.
-The show holds the audience’s hand and tells them everything that is happening
-Reva is terribly written
-Reva survives a lightsaber to the torso
- Luke has seen an inquisitor with a lightsaber

the most positive thing "the Acolyte" has done is clarify that Rotten tomatoes cannot be trusted with there critic score(clearly they are willing to hide or edit the raiting)

the thing here is when someone yells racism and its out there they need to define what it is to them. In our office a person filed a discrimination claim because two workers (who'd been best friends for 25+ yrs) would not invite her to lunch with them since she was colored. The reality is that as two close friends they discuss personal matters they don't want others to know. So lunch is their personal time they chose not to spend it with her. the company called them in and demanded that they invite her for inclusion they said no got threaten...they never went again. (or at least never leave together anymore) Not every thing is racist just because you don't get your way
