(I think it makes me think of friends and family that I've lost) I have seen CH many times, Neil solo , Tim solo and the brothers together twice. Both are amazing writers and great performers (Neil is incredibly charming live) Their voices together is magic.

I believe this song is about when their family came together just prior to the brothers' mother passing away. Your sentiments make perfect sense.

I saw these guys live in Belfast. It was an unforgettable experience. Very spiritual. This is a fantastic album and the lyrics of this song are great.
