One of those super special songs that never fails to give a lump in the throat but simultaneously make you feel so much joy and love. I just love this version ❤
They finally got Kate Bush in the Rock and Roll HOF this year. So ask this question a million times in my own head: WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GIVE NEIL FINN AND HIS 1000 COLLABORATORS THEIR OWN FRIGGIN WING??? I pray that they do it before Neil or I hurdle the mortal coil!!!
I was at the concert in San Francisco. Made the trip down from Vancouver, and saw them in Seattle too. I was able to get a spot directly in front of Neil. When Nothing Wrong With You began, he stopped to make an adjustment on something, and knealt close to me. That year had been a continuous nightmare for me, and the first time I heard NWWY it was as if it had been written for me. Following the tour was the only good thing that happened in a long while. So in that moment, I took the opportunity to tell him it was a really lovely song. And he looked at me and told me that I was lovely too. Oh, my heart! That meant, and continues to mean, the absolute world to me. ❤️
There aren’t enough words to express how much I love this song, this amazing performance, this whole album! 🎶❤️🎶 Thanks again Peter & Marky for another wonderful Wednesday! xx
I was at this tour in Liverpool (UK) It was so brilliant. (And was actually on the day that John Peel passed away) I adore this song and the whole album. Thanks for posting.
'Won't Give In' is one of my absolute favourite Finn Brothers songs. I remember when it was used at the end of the final episode of the TV series 'Love My Way' (featuring Claudia Karvan, Asher Keddie etc). It was a very oving scene, thanks largely to the inclusion of this song!
Wow! I soooo love that song! And weren't Tim and Neil in fine form on stage?! I half expected to see Tim dive for the floor and start doing his pushups with the hand clap in between like in the '80s!
Awesome song, one of their best.....lyrics always get to me. Thanks Peter and Mark! Curious.....did Tim always play acoustic (as opposed to piano) on Won't Give In on this tour? Was lucky enough to catch them 3 times on the UK leg of this tour, including 2 nights at the Royal Albert Hall😪. Was my daughter's first concert (now aged 26).....and she fell asleep during the show (only 7), waking up when she heard Don't Dream It's Over, her favourite Finn song

The Warfield show was where my husband finally fell in love with Tim!
Absolutely love this song; the harmonies, the way it swells, the lyrics... Just brilliant.
Love this album and especially this song. Never tire of hearing the Finn Brothers collaborate. Great songwriting and the best vocal combo!
