Man, thank you very much for bring this material! Sad these guys didn't have any official DVD or somethong for fans like me here in Brazil that don't have the chance to see them live.
Parabéns pro Waltinho... não é qualquer um que cria um álbum tão foda que permanece relevante 20 anos depois! 🐕 🐕🐕
Hands down the best live footage of Rival Schools online. Amazing sounds and video capture. Thank you. 🙏🏽
Sammy is a drumming legend for so many of my favorite bands. So glad he's still at it.
100% and a great guy. I remember how bad We’re not in this alone was on tape and then it was remastered on CD and the guy was 🔥 at like 14, and then of course there was Disengage and the Judge album 😮 I was in High School and loved these guys and got to know and hang out with Ray and Purcell a lot when they formed Shelter and moved to Philadelphia really close to my house. If I remember correctly I ran into Ray at the Kmart near my house when I was in 8th grade and he told me “Im living at the Hare Krishna Temple” and naturally I was beyond stoked and then some dude I looked up to as a HC god and elder was my friend and I’m eating with him weekly at the Temple. 108 and Shelter were amazing in the early 90’s live.
always cool to watch him drumming! love he with world be free as well
Brazil is waiting for you, guys ❤️
Love to this band from the Netherlands! Hoop to see more of this band in the future 🤩
Seeing them and Thursday in January!
Great video of prob my favourite band, so great to see intimate warm up shows with amazing moments, Sammy asking for his egg shaker for Holding Sands, and catching it ❤ magic! I was so glad to catch them back in London last month!
Grande Valter, onde coloca a mão vira ouro!
Parabéns pro Waltinho... não é qualquer um que cria um álbum tão foda que permanece relevante 20 anos depois! 🐕 🐕🐕
You can really hear Ian’s great guitar work here. Saw them at Bowery- very excited to see them back.
That's a nice way of saying the audio recording wasn't done well. Guitar needed to go down a notch, and vocals up a notch.
So you think someone doing audio recording has control over the levels of each instrument/mic huh?
@@FeetFirstProductions Sometimes they do. Depends on if they're plugged into the main soundboard and working with the sound guy or not. I've seen the audio recording people make sure the levels were balanced before making a live recording; it's not uncommon.
@@FeetFirstProductionsactually wasnt being critical. I enjoy this video and like that ians guitar is out front a bit. It was like that when i saw then at bowery.
@@frodobaggins6270 Again you have no control over input levels when directly plugged into a soundboard. You only have control when you are directly recording each individual channel and mixing it after (which is incredibly rare and a band to allow and venue has the ability to do). Kinda showing your misunderstanding how everything works here. Great sound can be achieved through a number of ways and soundboard audio does not mean the sound will be better by any means.
AWESOME.
Que banda meus amigos, que banda!!!
So sick!!
Please god, let me have the opportunity to see them play live.
would love to see a live version of Grunge Model
caralho que banda boa da porra
Parabéns pro Waltinho... não é qualquer um que cria um álbum tão foda que permanece relevante 20 anos depois! 🐕 🐕🐕
walter is a fuckin gift to us all, what a dude
These songs are so fcking good
I love Rival Schools but Slip has to be my top 5
album wise
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They should have turned Walters's mic up you can hardly hear him. Other than that this is great.
You would think the sound tech would have picked that up immediately. Smh
There is a fucking Venue in Garwood!?!??!?!??! My dad is born and raised in Garwood and we'd drive down there from VT before my grandparents died to visit every year! It's so small!!!!! Sure this isn't Cranford? wild!
Went to the San Diego show and had a lot of fun. All the band members talked to me after the show but Walt wouldn’t give me a glance…. There were 100 people there tops.
High Acetate rules
Walter has the strangest sense of melody, almost as if they recorded it (vocals) with different chords then replaced the guitars with different ones entirely.... because seriously, some of the weird inversions such as Major7 note then down to minor 3rd or 4th isn't really something that's used very often. but that's the whole uniqueness of music. Separates them from so many other bands who ATTEMPT that kind of thing.
@@Parrish_Muhoberac how do i know what you are saying because i kinda get it but like i dont know you know what i mean its like i think it could be a intelligence issue for me but like i dont know how you know the exact cords and everything but im only a small young boy so its okay ill understand one day haha
@@Parrish_Muhoberac like how do you know music so well i think music is the only thing i really care about i want to appreciate what you do i think im kinda smart and have learned very quickly but how do you do that
Walter changed my life a long time ago
In the best of ways
