😉 Yes, that is a hoot. As was seeing his expression😳 when Vegan popped up in relation to the sweet treats🍌. Amaury is so adorable. It's lovely that he's taken on the daily watering💦 project too. 😃 It's always exciting when ppl discover the satisfaction of puttering outdoors in a 🌳garden🌾. I admire Amaury’s new found love for gardening and his dedication to watering the new plants. A chateau shop is a wonderful idea and knowing your and Philip’s impeccable taste it will certainly do well. I would like to see how Maria made the charming tomato appetizer. Thanks for the magic Stephanie🙏🏻❤️
a friend of mine used to serve large Tomatoes stuffed with cream cheese, prawns and garlic. amazing she could cut them around the middle vertcally ad scoop out the middle, mix a little of that in the mixture.. theflesh not the seeds and pile the filling back in and put the lid on. Lovely as a cold starter or many at a buffet.
I really liked the little moment at the beginning that showed you trying to organize your thoughts and what you wanted to say. All those moments usually get edited out but it's always fun to see the normal human side.
@@steffaniel370 yes, you missed it, it’s already been fixed, it was a short slip of her walking & contemplating on what to say, very behind the scenes clip, Philip probably edited this one because it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a mistake like this lol
Having watched all of the regular Chateau Diaries, it is both fun and so very inspiring to see all the transformations now, they are happening soooooo quickly! Love, love, love the cleared out entranceway and hallway, love the cleard out and sorted attic area, LOVE IT ALL! The inspiring bit comes in with it inspires me to clear out things as well. I try to get one thing a day OUT of the house, aka my ome bedroom apartment.
Seeing everyone eating together & cooking such tasty looking food warms my heart. The shop looks so much larger than when Marie used it. What a great room.
The focused story format is working really well! I admit that seeing Marie’s workshop turned into a shop is wistful for me. I was really hoping that Marie would come back and stay long term. Of course my perspective is outside of the actual interactions and relationships at Lalande and I wish Marie the best. I just miss the unique sparkle she contributed to the community at Lalande. Miss the flowers and the creative meals and the self awareness workshops and the rambles for wildflowers. Best wishes to everyone. I’ll never forget those quarantined months were the highlight was the smaller Cast of characters making joy in the midst of difficult situation and sharing with all of us. Thank you!
Perhaps you should fit a retractable awning over the pergola on the terrace. You will have shade and cover in the rain. You would get a lot more use out of the terrace.
I do agree but maybe Stephanie likes the open style … I wonder if she has mentioned if that is the way she likes or she never thought of covering during Summer time 🤷♂️
Stephanie I long to come to Lalande to visit you and this magical place. I long to meet everyone who lives at Lalande as well. I'm disabled and only walk with a walker. I use a wheelchair outside my home for safety reasons but my daughter wants to bring me to Lalande one day. My love to you all.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My 1st live! Yay! Stephanie I love your life, your enthusiasm and pure joy for living. Most of all I love that you are selflessly sharing it all with us and those lucky enough to be there at LaLande with you.
I'd love for you to do an episode on introducing everyone who lives and works at the Chateau, give an insight into what they do in a day, and what the volunteer roles are etc. You have probably already done this and I've missed it, I'm just fascinated on how everything comes together and the running of the Chateau
I Love this idea of a shop filled with antiques and vintage beauties from made in France things and some postcards from the Chateau. Everything is coming all together perfect.
I've loved every evolution that room has gone through: Thomaz's hilarious and stylish Salon and then Marie's truly lovely Floral Studio, so I'm sure I will love this latest re-encarnation! I really do miss Marie so much, and Thomaz's hilariousness + energy were so fun whilst he was there.
I think all the men in this vlog have to be hired actors. I have never met so many kind, gentlemen of all ages. Either Stephanie is a magnet for them, or they are actors hired for their exceptional good looks and willingness to act like the nicest men ever.
Now I see how a childhood playing with Playmobil is perfect training for life as a chatelaine. Many new chateaux ventures seem to begin with 1. Assign room another purpose, 2. Clear room of items to Emmaus, 3. Play musical chairs (relocate useful objects to another room), 4. bring in yet another wardrobe from Narnia. Looking forward to what relocates to the shop (and how many of those objects are imprinted with woodland creatures).

Did you know? You can peel very ripe bananas, push a pop stick firmly through, wrap in cling wrap and freeze. They make great banana treats on hot days and are healthy frozen bites especially for children. Not for those with sensitive teeth however. ❤️ from Australia 🇦🇺.
Nick admitted he was taking the wood for his own use in the last video. Stephanie must have forgotten, because he was back for more on a Saturday and she thanked him.
You're establishing a shop? Wow! Stand back...that's going to take off like crazy if you merchandise it wisely. You should partner with Spode to design a blue & white Lelande series.
