Not happy with insecticides- temporary and not environmentally neutral, so I'll give your suggestions a try this year. Last year, as you said, the number of spiders was exceptional. This year I fight back. thanks for the info. I'm single handing quite often so need to see your vid on anchoring. Cheers and thanks.

      Hi Dale,
I'm glad you found the video useful. I've been putting off the anchoring video until I get more vid. I crew for a friend each summer and that's all I do is anchor so you'd think I'd take the camera forward just once. I'm single handing up to the Thousand Islands this year and I swear I should have enough vid by September.
      Fair Winds,
      Allan

      Hi Allen
I hope you don't mind a question from your video on North Channel Cruising. I've been getting back to sailing after a break of 30 years. The past 3 years have been pure fun, gaining more confidence month by month. I'm at Lion's Head- beautiful sailing- but haven't taken her out overnight yet. So I am picking up the logistics. You mentioned North Channel was crowded and not a place for the inexperienced. It is amazing how thoughtless some boaters are. But could you be more specific. What type of experience comes to mind? Docking? Anchoring? Provisioning? Navigation? Thanks for getting back to me about anchoring. I activate the windlass from the cockpit, but knowing how much chain is playing out is tricky. Don't get me wrong, I like company but being solo is so peaceful. Anyway, thanks again. Dale

You are trying to rid your boat of excessive spiders, and when i have enough money for a small live aboard boat i'll be moving in with my tarantulas, even if it restricts the locations i can ravel to and of course i'll also have some issues on the insects i breed for them to feed on i can see a lot of red stamps denied access (I'll be prioritizing the spiders safety).
