See how to get rid of spiders! With these simple steps, you'll be able to get rid of and kill spiders in your home.

In this video, we will show you how to get rid of spiders using the Solutions four step process.
With the warmer months upon us, it’s time to think about pest control. And as the bugs come out, so do the spiders. Spiders are an important part of the ecosystem and can help you with your own pest control, but a lot of the time we don’t want them around -- especially brown recluses or black widows that often times deliver a fatal bite.
ID & INSPECTION:
Some of the most common species you may encounter are wolf spiders, orb spiders, jumping spiders, and the brown recluse and black widow. The good news is that the brown recluse and the black widow are the only life-threatening venomous spiders found in the United States, but that doesn’t mean other types won’t leave a nasty bite.
A lot of the time, identification and inspection go hand-in-hand because it can sometimes be difficult to determine what kind of spider you have. So when identifying a spider, note its size, its color, and its behavior.
Spiders are shy and prefer to stay hidden, so finding spiders around the home may be difficult. Check around your property for webs. Spiders tend to build them in undisturbed areas but typically they might be around ceilings, fixtures, next to windows, and corners of a room. Also check the attic and garage areas. Move things around to see if you can spot spiders and webs.
These steps are important because without knowing exactly where to treat and what to treat for, it can make spider control difficult. The good news is the products in our Spider Kit will eliminate almost any spider problem.
CONTROL:
The third step in the process is control.
The first thing you will want to do is declutter your house. Spiders typically hide in cluttered areas such as attics, garages, or basements. Do your best to throw out or re-organize as much as possible so that the spiders will be more out in the open. This will eliminate their harborage areas and make it easier to see them and apply these control techniques.
Next, we’ll use a product called Reclaim IT with a pump sprayer. Reclaim IT is a powerful insecticide concentrate that will help deliver a quick knockdown and long residual.
Spray outside around windows and doors, around porches, under patio coverings, and along eaves. Inside, spray along baseboards, in closets, and in garages and storage spaces.
After that, monitor spider activity by using Catchmaster 72MB glue boards. These are multi-insect and rodent glue boards that are perfect for capturing stray spiders that can be hard to find.
Lay these out in areas where you have seen spider activity such as in cabinets, closets, storage areas, garages, or attics. The spiders will walk across the boards and get stuck and can then be disposed of. These glue boards will also trap any other crawling pests.
Eliminate spider webs by using Web Out spray. Web Out is a low-toxicity formula designed to break down webs to make cleaning easier while preventing new webs.
Spray any spider webs that you see, usually in dark corners of rooms or along the eaves of a house. Clean up the web by using a broom or or a web duster head. This will discourage spiders from rebuilding their webs in those areas.
PREVENTION:
The final step of the process is prevention.
Keep the spiders away by spraying the perimeter of your home with Reclaim IT. Spray three feet up the structure and three feet out. This will create an insecticidal barrier that will keep spiders away.
Seal off any openings, cracks or crevices you find around your home with caulk.
Be diligent about knocking down any webs you might see.
And continue general pest control practices to keep other bugs away. Remember, insects are a spider’s food source, so if you can control them, you control the spiders.
If you follow these steps, we guarantee you 100% that you will get rid of spiders. Not only will you have eliminated spiders, but you will have controlled other pests too, leaving your property spider free.

Shelby, Homemade spider spray. 1 T dish soap, 1/3 C white vinegar, 1 1/2 c water, 10 drops peppermint essential oil and 5 drops lavender essential oil. Put in spray bottle and shake. Also diatomatious earth may also help. Good luck.

I've been on the warpath with spiders for as long as I can remember, but more so after my daughter was bit by a brown recluse when playing outdoors in Florida. It took 2 years, several hospitals, countless doctors and tests to confirm this nickel sized hole in her leg was indeed a spider bite. Paranoia doesn't even begin to describe the panic and anxiety I feel when it comes to spiders, especially brown recluses in or near my home.

I stay heavily armed with a full bottle of straight bleach in a squirt bottle and the setting on the water pistol stream. I doused it till it literally slowed and staggered under a filthy tote/crate in the cellar but he’s still in effect.

Last night My son found a wolf spider in our front yard that looked like a fury tarantula. I almost panicked looking at it and I gave my son 20 bucks to kill it . I catch ones I can reach in a clear plastic carton with lid & let them loose in the back yard. Ones that are too high, I vacuum them up & then cover the end of the vacuum cleaner so they don't crawl out. I found out ants don't like orange oil, but I don't know about spiders.

I have been spraying the outside of my house for years and years and use those radio frequency things indoors. I seem to be able to control them but not eliminate them. I have been playing with my outdoor lights too. I found an article that tested light bulbs and they discovered that, LEDs with a 25000 k worked best to deter bugs which in turn deters spiders. I tried it this season and am happy with the results.

I just saw one in my living room and I froze whilst I thought of my options. I was getting ready to go to bed as it's after midnight and I'm tired, but now I'm thinking about what I'm going to do. After I got over the shock of seeing a big spider which I wasn't expecting I decided to go and get some sprays from the kitchen, but when I got back the spider had disappeared. I've been sitting here waiting for it to come back so I can spray it from as far as I can. I'm not happy because it hasn't come back and I want to sleep, but I'll be home alone tomorrow and I work from my living room, so knowing there's a big spider somewhere doesn't fill my heart with joy.

Thank you, but more than likely most of us watching this have arachnophobia, and with the excessive pictures of spiders on the screen made me never want to see a spider again. It is currently 4 in the morning and now I’m scared for my life because there was like 15 different images of deadly or venomous spiders that could possibly be lurking in the shadows. Don’t watch this video with feet in the ground or a blanket. The blanket rubs me at all and I damn near hit my head on the ceiling got me jumping so hard😂

Maybe it's just me but I refuse to sleep until I know the spiders dead
One suggestion I'd like to point out is that it's better to clean up and kill the spiders up in eaves or patio ceilings if you're using a microencapsulated product like Bifenthrin 7.9. If you spray first, as many companies or technicians do and then come back after the yard spray to use a web pole and web head, you are breaking the micro capsules and it will not be as effective. Especially if a lot of de-webbing is necessary. If using a wettable powder like Cyfluthrin or Cypermethrin or an EC like Permethrin 36.8% then you can do the spraying first and then come back to knock the webs down. Most of all for PCOs, for the love of GOD, don't waste your money on Suspend Polyzone. You will NOT be happy with the results and will be a lot lighter in the wallet paying a king's ransom for a completely overhyped pesticide. I would always suggest using Bifenthrin 7.9% for spider and web control, like Reclaim IT or Talstar One.

We just moved into a new place and I’ve seen huge spiders ever since we moved in. Last night when my husband and I were in the kitchen a HUGE spider ran up. Turned out it was a wolf spider and it started jumping right at me. If we can’t get rid of them I’m moving. This is their house now 🤣

Use a Flashlight when looking for spiders they can hide very well in the corner of your rooms. In the Basements flashlights work well here.

The big ones are scarier. They belong outside. Spiders would not allow you inside their nest, why should we allow them in ours!
My basement in my 1968 built home is my biggest procrastination because of the amount of spiders. Only thing I truly have a fear for is spiders. Owning this home has helped my fears a bit as it’s common to have a few surface upstairs but the feeling of going through a web or one crawling on my neck (I’m 6’4) makes my skin crawl. Going to try your advice. Wish me luck so I can get started on finishing and cleaning up this creepy ass basement.

If you spray around the outside of the house, the spiders will come in, then you capture the spiders and remove them from the house.
Depends on the species to me, i love having jumping spiders, they get rid of other pests without pesticides.
I have one that lives on the shelf under the kitchen window. He just stays there & never leaves. I put one outside once, but there always seems to be one there. They do not bother me.

I have a question, Are spiders attracted to cold air? Because I mostly see wolf spiders once an awhile in my room. And yes I have my air conditioner ON all night and most of the day.

However, they occasionally come indoors on accident or to seek shelter over the winter. Homeowners might see them near doors, basements, or windows. The are not attracted to the cold.

My boy, my homie, my dawg, Keith. First of all, I don't wanna do this anymore bc you said there's jumping spidos. And you said I had to move the clutter to get to those bad boys, but Keithy, my boy, you don't understand. No one has gone in there in literal Years and I wanted to use the room for stuff. The only weapon I have against those spawns of Satan is a broom. I regularly vacuum the basement, garage, house, ceilings and corners. Also I keep sticky traps along walls upstairs and down and spray peppermint oil around windows, doors, and other key areas. I also make sure other insects that are dead, don't hang around long either. YUCK we moved from WI where there were no poisonous spiders to MO where there are...finding brown recluses in our home was awful! So 2 months later and about 2 dozen brown recluses later, the traps aren't finding any others. We went around and sealed holes in the foundation and will keep glue traps around. We keep things in plastic bins and have NO cardboard in the house. We don't use chemicals in our home or outside. Just essential oils

FUNNY STORY,
YEARS AGO I got a job as a gas station pump mech. Back in those days under the gas pumps you would find dirt or sand
today there is a plastic containment box to collect any leaking gasoline. But back in the old days it was common to open
up a pump and find black widows underneath in & amongst the piping. That area usually had a gas stink about it. I dunno,
were they attracted by the stink? Dunno. After pumps were fitted with containment boxes we didnt see the spiders very
often. Those containment boxes gave off a strong plastics smell. I would guess the spiders liked that it was a cool dark
place, but, what do I know? Im just a simple caveman.

You need a dehumidifier, I heard. And close every crack, vacuum daily, spray pepper mint oil solution. I haven’t tried yet, but I hope this will eliminate them.

DON'T get me wrong I use to do exterminations in the projects in Brooklyn NEWYORK it's a dirty job but it can be done with patience and not A BIG BANK ROLL. GOOD LUCK
Best method is to use a roach control bait, this is offering the roach a food source. Bait for about 10 days and then you can apply an insecticide.

I have a had a tough time with spiders. I am currently home alone and I saw a spider in the kitchen behind the door. I write a sign pointing to it for my dad to get it when he gets home. Then I go into my living room and see a spider crawl out from under the couch. He latched onto the curtains and I couldn’t get him off. So I ran upstairs to my room. I’m sitting there and all of a sudden I see a spider crawling on my wall right in front of my face. I jump up and he crawls to the ground I grabbed out a glass jar and put it over him. Poor spiders there small homes(webs) are getting destroyed so much times why shoud people kill these poor spiders? If theu are walking around they just to live like us humans.
i sortof eliminated spiders and scorpions in my house by cultivating ant "hills?" and teaching them to eat specifically things like roaches and crickets grasshoppers any large insect that might be a large spiders meal then i released praying mantises to work on the rest of the pests and now the pest population in the front back and sides of my house is virtually gone and when theres no food around theres no predators around i just have to make sure that if the ants ever start encroaching inside that i provide a bit of food for them myself like when i was teaching them what to eat we still spray on occasion but ultimatley the ecosystem i cultivated takes care of itself and leaves no room for niche predators like spiders or scorpions theres just not enough food and too much competition

I got bit by a brown recluse spider about 3 days ago and I was diagnosed with agoraphobia and I haven't left my house in about 3 years my arm is huge and there's red bumps all over it I tried to leave to go to the hospital I only made it halfway into town I had a panic attack I needed to go home to get my inhaler and I never left again am I going to die?
