This is by far the best solution to setting up a wifi access point in the home of office without the need to run long lengths of cable.. Fantastic easy setup, the speed loss is very slight... Fab product
Thank you for your review! I bought this item and it was so easy to set up and it works great! My room is no longer the "internet dead-zone" of the house and it is super fast!
Excellent review. Clear and to the point. Thank you. I was really excited to see Metroid II: Return of Samus on the shelf back there. Ahhhh.......memories.
The 500Mbps are for powerline-to-powerline... The LAN ports are 100Mbps and that's the maximum you can get from this device. A good thing is that you can have several multiple connections all running close to 100Mbps.
I live in an old sandstone house. My laptop is in the basement at the back of the house and my router is upstairs. I could only get a very weak WiFi signal in the basement and powerline has been the answer. I am not technically minded but I had my TP Link adapters out of the box and working in a matter of minutes. It is recommended not plugging these adapters into a power strip so the (more expensive) pass through versions are especially useful as you can then plug your power strip into the adapter. No software or complicated configuration is required - it is literally plug and play and the adapters “find” one another quickly. If you want to create a fully secure network you can press the encryption buttons. I have personally not bothered as no one else has access to my house electricity. I now have a reliable broadband connection for my laptop thanks to powerline.
Great video. A quick question.....what is your download speed from your router....? That would give me an idea of how much degradation there is in the system. Thanks
You have to try different outlets. I have one by my router in the basement , I have the other unit out in my barn which is about 100 ft away and is powered by an underground line in pipe. It works great ...I had a really hard time getting wireless out there. With powerline Ethernet, I've got a beater computer out there for looking up parts, iTunes, check email, etc. Different outlets even in the same room will give different results ...trial and error.
I just installed one of these and it seems to have cancelled out my modem? I cannot get a signal from my modem even if the TP Link is disconnected. Any ideas?????
Am I living in some kind of alternate universe? I ask because I'm ecstatic if I get over 10 mbps... and here's yet another person saying that 30 Mbps is "meh"... and not enough for streaming video (which we are still able to do at our more modest speeds).
Ah... thanks for clarifying. I was getting jealous here! (I see so many who say the same about Internet speeds... ours seems crazy slow compared to what most people get, and we're in a major city). Your video was very helpful, by the way... I just ordered some of the TP-Link extenders.
I live in a duplex. I have the router in the 1st house and I need and wifi on the 2nd house. Can I still use this, considering that each house has its own electrical system?
Great video but it did not work for my customer, I had him buy a TP link two unit model such as the one in this video.. after more than an hour trying to set-up at a distance with him on the phone I gave-up, it seem that power line models work on the same electrical circuit, but when on a different circuit it may not function, so it got returned to Amazon. I told my customer to go and buy the Netgear wall plug wifi mesh single extender that was in-stock at his local Staples store. It has worked perfectly, my customer has an IP phone that is far from the router and requires a wired connection. With the WPS setup I was able to guide him over the phone. Really great during Covid as he is 79.
And if I may... a follow-up question. Is it faster to run a wire from the adapter at the far end to my media device, or do you get about the same speed as WiFi? And one more... Does this support 5Ghz? Sorry for all the questions. I'm a newby to powerline networking; just considering it for the first time.
Hey, cool vid.. I bought the 600 wifi one.. The phone can find the connection but the laptop can connect but no internet found? Any ideas please? The phone is at max internet speed now!! These plugs are magic!!
Can the firs part be used without the etharnet cable conection if the power line a far from the ruther.CAn bout sides be used wieresly, exept the powerline part. signal on bouth sides, resive and the second one send out
Hey, I'm looking into buying this product as I have a shed at the bottom of my garden which does not receive any WiFi signal whatsoever, however is about 30m away from my wireless router. Would this reach the distance that I need? Thanks
It uses the Ethernet signal as the Internet source and has a built in transmitter to broadcast it's own wireless network. Essentially you have a LAN extension and a separate wireless broadcast network at the same time. You can turn off the wireless if you dont need it.
I installed one power line adapter TL-PA4010 and two extender TL-WPA4220. Those works fine. I need some more extender TL-WPA4220 to use in one system(adapter TL-PA4010). Please let me know maximum number of extender that I can use in one system. Thanks.
Hey Lon, I bought this item from your website a while ago and the small unit isn't functioning anymore. I just want to ask if it comes with any kind of warranty, or what can you advise me in this situation. What's the best way to contact you in the future? thanks
my security cameras DVR box requires an Ethernet cable connection to my router (located 50 feet away). Can I use the powerline adapters instead? thanks
I need help! I just got this today and finished the setup. Using ethernet from the powerline extender to my computer, i'm only getting 20mbps max. That is the same as my 2.4 ghz speed but I can get 80+ mbps on 5ghz on my other devices (ipad, iphone). How can I get the same speed as my 5ghz speed which I'm paying for on my pc?
Since this extender goes through the powerline, will the connection still be strong enough to play games, stream movies even though im a couple of rooms far away from the first device who's connected to my router? Please answer quick!
We also had alot of issues with weak wifi signal upstairs in the bedrooms so we bought such a TP-link kit with an AV600 extender in it. Plugging it in did work using the cables but to change the SSID and password on the wifi didn't go smooth at all. Our Proximus modem does have a WPS button and pushing it allows it's LED to blink but the AV600 didn't change anything, it kept it's TP-link SSID name and password. I tried to connect to it using my browser and it's IP-address but instead of getting the built-in webpage for configuration, I just got a screen that showed that there was an issue and I was probably connected to it on a guest network while I was connected to it directly using the supplied TCP network cable AND the wifi SSID and password that was listed on the device itself. And one solution was to install the Tether app on my phone to configure it. Tried that and the app found my AV600 device but couldn't login to it. Seems Tether didn't work with the AV600. Eventually I found an utility from TPLink that scans your network and lists all your TP-link devices. Upon clicking the device in that app, it opened my browser with the same IP as I tried manually before, but this time it displayed the proper webinterface page and allowed me to configure it and give it the same SSID as my modem so it's the same network essentially. This took me more than 2 hours to configure while it should only be a 5-minute job using the pair-buttons on the devices and the WPS button on the modem. And I also noticed some dropouts where the device looses connection for short periods of time but the wifi signal is alot better now and we can use the internet properly without waiting for 99+ hours to do a simple game-update on the PS5.
My question is, Is it taking the ethernet that it receives through the powerline and putting it out as wifi? or is it only providing the ethernet through the wall to the wifi plugin's ethernet ports and the wifi portion is only for repeating wifi that it in range?
+baluu1083 Download the TP-link utility software online. After logging in, go to wireless settings and make sure the "allow radio signal" is selected, then reboot.
Is it still working perfectly? Im thinking about buying one but i have a few questions. My router is in the basement and i want to put the adapter upstairs in my room, would it still connect? Is the connection stable? is it fast? My house is 2-3 stories. Would it work? thanks for the reply
Hi Lon. I always enjoy your videos. They are well-done and informative. One question for your clarification: I think I heard you say that a realistic speed for these is around 30mbs. You said it is not good for streaming video (primarily for me, NF & RUclips). Netflix recommends 5mbs to stream their service in HD. So, what causes this to not work well for streaming. I ask because I'm getting real close to deciding on this, since running ethernet cable to my media center would be very difficult (no basement and no attic access to where I would want to drop a line down the wall). Thank you.
curious to know if this will boost the range from my house to my workshop that is about 100ft away, I do get connection but loose about 1/2 the strength.
I just bought the Av500 starter kit (TL-PA4010KIT), and it works great. Easy to step-up and use. My wifi signal was giving me 8-14 MB. Now, with the powerline, I'm getting ~50 MB, and no lag when playing games ~23 ping. However, the adapter on the outlet does get pretty warm.. is this normal? Will it overheat?
questions I am in a 3 bedroom apartment and have Comcast internet its works fine in the living room and the first and second bedrooms but in the back room only get 1 bar trying to hook up to android Tv box and Xbox one plz help me
ricky stewart I also live in an apartment complex (2bedroom). We use xfinity and the wifi is sht. I bought this TP-Link av500 and the internet is great. No lag when gaming, fast downloading.
My dilemma is that I am able to get a good Wi-Fi signal using my phone as a Hotspot. But I am not able to share the same network so that both computers/ tablets etc can talk to each other while I am using my hotspot. Would this device help me share the same network connection between my electronic devices?
hey i was wondering if i can use this to connect my pc to the internet using Ethernet like plug the cable into the smaller unit and the other end into my pc?
exactly. it acts like your router is directly connected to your PC. while also outputting a WiFi signal for use by your tablet, phone or laptop. i connect my Xbox 360 directly to, one of the two Ethernet ports, and the other port i connected an Ethernet switch, which i connect my Xbox one, ps4 and PC to.
I have an issue. I need to use something like this for my (ethernet) desktop pc which is quite a long way away from the router. I need fast speed to access secure websites like my bank. Will it work for this or do I have to run a cable? I can only find comments about running gaming devices.
Power line adapters can be iffy.. I have had better success with MOCA that works through your cable TV wiring: lon.tv/moca - disclosure they are sponsors on the channel now but I was using their tech as a customer prior to my endorsement.
How far can you send signal across power line? Why/how is it only limited to just your house. You should be able to go to your neighbors house and it should still work. You could plug it in at work and take their signal home...
1. Does this require separate login? I have a repeater for downstairs that adds EXT to my router name. I have to manually login to the EXT device when downstairs and my regular wireless when upstairs. With The TP-Link, does it use the router login to connect? So if I'm on my phone going from upstairs to downstairs I maintain a strong signal? 2, Also, does it broadcast the signal pretty far (a couple rooms) or just the immediate area (1 room)? Thanks.
What will you guys recommend for video transfers/ and playing Smooth 4K video. I have the tp link 2000 and I can't play smooth 4K video am getting 8up 15down and it's still not playing a 4K 30f video smoothly I have a apple extreme in the living room and. iMac in the bedroom any ideas would help! Thanks
will this work if I have ethernet to my ps4 and I'm playing online than have to powerline wifi on my phone.will both ethernet and wifi work from this at the same time
Do you think it'll make my wifi signal stronger I live in an apartment the router is in the living room and in my room I play Xbox it lags a lot when their watching movies or RUclips in the living room on the ps4
You can extend the network into your room with the powerline adapter and plug the xbox directly into it using the RJ45 cable. You wont need to keep a wireless connection. It will be much better with a RJ45 cable instead of the wireless connection.
Ok I know I'm a little late but my router is downstairs and my ps4 is in my room. I can't run ethernet up to it and I'm looking into buying this. I currently use wireless and believe it or not I get 2mbps on a great day download speed, and anywhere from 100-700 kbps upload speed. (Ik that's TRASH). Do you think this will significantly increase my speed for gaming? I mean I can constant 2-3 bar on cod and in gta I lag out after 15 minutes in every session. I NEED HELP! Please and thank you.
that's a ps4 problem. Psn servers make your Internet seem slow. if your supposed to get 50 mbps through ethernet you will get almost half that when your ps4 is connected through ethernet. psn is a huge network so there is going to be lag.
cashfan3 hey, my internet problem is literally identical to yours in every aspect. just wondering if you ended up buying this thing and it worked or if you ever found out a different solution?
johnisaboss69 I ended up getting a Netgear Wireless extender. From that I use ethernet. (I can explain it a lot more if you want) It helps me get a lot better download and upload but it could do better. With the wireless extender, I get around 10-15 mbps download and about 9-12 mbps upload. I can play games now with a solid 4 bar, but every so often I do lag if the lobby is overall bad, or my internet is trash that day. Anyways, hope this helped. If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer.
cashfan3 hey thanks for the response. I was actually looking into the Netgear wireless extender before I found out about this thing. how far away from the router can you plug the receiver in and still get a good connection between the two?
This device it is amazing. Im have dificulties with my modem router wifi in the far bed9room and bathroom. This device plug and play work like a charm. Just plug in outlet and in ethernet cable from modem and the othr one in farthest point of your home and voila strong wifi signal.
Hello, i bought this 2 weeks ago and now im net getting further, i set it up like the Manual told me. But now i have TWO Networks but i want only 1 can somebody please help me?
Or course if you are talking about online playing. You can plug in a Ethernet cable into the outlet part and plug the other side to your ps4/PS3 for MAXIUM WIFI SPEED.
I'm not sure if I've done it right it works for my Xbox one however on my iPhone 6s and iPad shows the 3 bar but says no internet when I'm on Instagram someone please help
Guys I have very bad internet. I have a bought a 100Mbps deal with the internet company. But I only get about 4 Mbps downloaad speed and very bad ping, this is because my router is downstairs because it needs to be connected to the TV, meaning I cant move it upstairs to my room. I use a wireless extender from tplink in which I plugged in an ethernet cable from my pc. I can barely play without any lag and I hate it. What should I do? is there a way of making my own internet with a new router? Should I get one of these? pls help
Woogie .Z It will not affect it at all, I've had these plugged into my ps4 for almost 2 years now and rarely turn the powerline adapter off, however the wifi powerline adapter tends to heat up pretty fast so i turn that one off sometimes.
Elusive Trickster I play Rainbow six siege alot, My modem and router are downstairs but my ps4 is up stairs. I constantly get disconnected. You obviously have experience with the product, do you think its worth the purchase?
Dwatts24111 yes it's worth every penny imo. And i play rainbow 6 on ps4 as well xD if you're not getting the kind of speed you want then just try a different outlet downstairs.
holy crap! nobody gets 800-900 mbps! lots of ppl are lucky to get 50mbps! i have a cheapo Belkin Router with a range of 300 and have 3 Alexa's and13 other devices connected plus a Desktop and tablet connected with NO Distance or Strength problems! i can go a 100 yds down the road and still have good signal strength and you cannot reach your bedroom? something is wrong with your setup! today i just added a Nexx Garage door controller and it is still kicking! TP Link is a great product! all my Alexis devices are TP Link!
This is by far the best solution to setting up a wifi access point in the home of office without the need to run long lengths of cable.. Fantastic easy setup, the speed loss is very slight... Fab product
BY FAR the best video on how this system works and how to set it up!! Thanks!!
Omg I have this in my home, from England here!
Thank you for your review! I bought this item and it was so easy to set up and it works great! My room is no longer the "internet dead-zone" of the house and it is super fast!
Bought this around 8 months ago. Works great for connecting wired ethernet to my ps4 and another one to my smart TV which are far away from my router.
Now there are 1gbps Lan ports design. Cautious: the overhead is about 70-80%, means usable WiFi is about 25% speed of design
Have you thought about actually demonstrating how to set up?
Thanx for the video. I guess you have to make sure that the adaptors have to be connected to the same 120VAC Phase??
Like the visuals. Good explanation. Thumbs up
I live in an old sandstone house.
Thanks
Nicely done. Helped me with my choice/purchase. Works well in Basement for Fire TV
You need to show the actual setup procedure. Why would you miss that out of such a highly detailed video review?
what's so difficult about plugging it in?
You have to try different outlets. I have one by my router in the basement , I have the other unit out in my barn which is about 100 ft away and is powered by an underground line in pipe. It works great ...I had a really hard time getting wireless out there. With powerline Ethernet, I've got a beater computer out there for looking up parts, iTunes, check email, etc. Different outlets even in the same room will give different results ...trial and error.
This is exactly what I want to do. Thanks for the info!
I just installed one of these and it seems to have cancelled out my modem? I cannot get a signal from my modem even if the TP Link is disconnected. Any ideas?????
Useless things
Am I living in some kind of alternate universe? I ask because I'm ecstatic if I get over 10 mbps... and here's yet another person saying that 30 Mbps is "meh"... and not enough for streaming video (which we are still able to do at our more modest speeds).
Ah... thanks for clarifying. I was getting jealous here! (I see so many who say the same about Internet speeds... ours seems crazy slow compared to what most people get, and we're in a major city). Your video was very helpful, by the way... I just ordered some of the TP-Link extenders.
Thanks for bringing this up. I live in a rural area with DSL, 3.8 mbps tops. So when someone says "only" 30mbps I want to scream.
When choosing power line should I just get the cheapest one since I only have 50mbps? and can use use wireless and wired at same time?
I live in a duplex. I have the router in the 1st house and I need and wifi on the 2nd house. Can I still use this, considering that each house has its own electrical system?
I have this unit and was working great for two months NOW it keeps saying that there is no internet connection ...Need help.
Same thing is happening to mine too
Great video but it did not work for my customer, I had him buy a TP link two unit model such as the one in this video.. after more than an hour trying to set-up at a distance with him on the phone I gave-up, it seem that power line models work on the same electrical circuit, but when on a different circuit it may not function, so it got returned to Amazon.
I told my customer to go and buy the Netgear wall plug wifi mesh single extender that was in-stock at his local Staples store. It has worked perfectly, my customer has an IP phone that is far from the router and requires a wired connection. With the WPS setup I was able to guide him over the phone. Really great during Covid as he is 79.
does your electricity bill go up by using this method ?
just a simple question.
thanks...great video...and wall...
+Lon Seidman cool thanks
And if I may... a follow-up question. Is it faster to run a wire from the adapter at the far end to my media device, or do you get about the same speed as WiFi? And one more... Does this support 5Ghz? Sorry for all the questions. I'm a newby to powerline networking; just considering it for the first time.
Hey Lon,
2 years later, what product would you recommend for extending 5 GHz band?
Hey, cool vid.. I bought the 600 wifi one.. The phone can find the connection but the laptop can connect but no internet found? Any ideas please? The phone is at max internet speed now!! These plugs are magic!!
Hi Lon, I just ordered this kit from Amazon. Can you confirm that the 2 ethernet ports on the larger device can be used simultaneously by 2 PCs?
Can the firs part be used without the etharnet cable conection if the power line a far from the ruther.CAn bout sides be used wieresly, exept the powerline part. signal on bouth sides, resive and the second one send out
Powerline rocks. For me I would get 22-25mbps at best over wireless. With these I get 66mbps. ISP claims 60mbps.
***** Age of the house is probably most important i'd say.
flexor212000 How old is your house, if you don't mind me asking?
Jordan Lay 7 years old
Hey, I'm looking into buying this product as I have a shed at the bottom of my garden which does not receive any WiFi signal whatsoever, however is about 30m away from my wireless router. Would this reach the distance that I need? Thanks
How long have you had this? I want to buy this today but many people Are complaining on reviews that it disconnects a lot
Does the WiFi extender function use existing WiFi signals or the Ethernet to repeat the signal?
It uses the Ethernet signal as the Internet source and has a built in transmitter to broadcast it's own wireless network. Essentially you have a LAN extension and a separate wireless broadcast network at the same time. You can turn off the wireless if you dont need it.
Thanks for the reply phil, i've already bought the product and i figured that was the case. Thanks anyways though!
does this rebroadcast the ethernet single it gets from the circuitry? Or does it rebroadcast an existing wifi signal?
I installed one power line adapter TL-PA4010 and two extender TL-WPA4220. Those works fine. I need some more extender TL-WPA4220 to use in one system(adapter TL-PA4010). Please let me know maximum number of extender that I can use in one system. Thanks.
does it work if you put them on different floors? One is on the ground floor and the 2nd one on the 2nd floor for example?
Hey Lon, I bought this item from your website a while ago and the small unit isn't functioning anymore. I just want to ask if it comes with any kind of warranty, or what can you advise me in this situation. What's the best way to contact you in the future? thanks
The '500Mbit' adaptor only has a 100base network port on it so you will never get faster than the port speed.
will this work in an office building? we get internet by way of wifi but because our office sits in the front corner of the building the wifi sucks.
hello there. i just saw your video. can i plug one side from my neighbers house and the other side plug in to my room. will that increase the signal?
my security cameras DVR box requires an Ethernet cable connection to my router (located 50 feet away).
And another question. If i got several devices connected to the extender, will i still be able to stream or gaming? Our network speed rate is 100/100.
Do you have any URL for the download of the application to find the IP address
We also had alot of issues with weak wifi signal upstairs in the bedrooms so we bought such a TP-link kit with an AV600 extender in it. Plugging it in did work using the cables but to change the SSID and password on the wifi didn't go smooth at all. Where did you find the utility?
My question is, Is it taking the ethernet that it receives through the powerline and putting it out as wifi? or is it only providing the ethernet through the wall to the wifi plugin's ethernet ports and the wifi portion is only for repeating wifi that it in range?
Futilizer - Both
Could you please explain how to get the wifi extender part to function? I've got the powerline to work, but am having trouble cloning!
+baluu1083 Download the TP-link utility software online. After logging in, go to wireless settings and make sure the "allow radio signal" is selected, then reboot.
And still, in 2021 having the same problem
Is it still working perfectly? Im thinking about buying one but i have a few questions. My router is in the basement and i want to put the adapter upstairs in my room, would it still connect? Is the connection stable? is it fast? My house is 2-3 stories. Would it work? thanks for the reply
I live in a 1962 house that has old electric wiring that doesn't even have a ground. I don't know if it would work.
Hi there can you tell me if these TP Link Powerline Adapters will they only work with Fibre Optic Broadband connections?
can you use power splitter? which is already plugged into eu wall socket?
Could you do the actual set-up?
I'd like to find something I can use to boost my reception outside to play Pandora on my ipad. Any suggestions?
Hi Lon. I always enjoy your videos. They are well-done and informative.

yeah usually these products are designed to work well in heat so you shouldn't worry.

yea u are right about that someone told me to get WiFi booster but u said just get this power line set
Will this work well for a slow iptv box it is giving me buffering and is very slow

would my ping be better with this or with hard wire to the modem?
Are this need connect cable outlet wall???
So does this pretty much mean ur playing Ethernet while Having wifi? Or am I getting something wrong
If wifi is slow/crap you can use this
Thanks.
+Lon Seidman thanks for quick reply. I may give it a shot... if I do I will use your affiliate link. Thanks!
Just purchased through your link. Thanks again.
Thanks
will this work if I have ethernet to my ps4 and I'm playing online than have to powerline wifi on my phone.will both ethernet and wifi work from this at the same time
But you didn't show me how to connect the cable to the router and where to
can i connect it the one that connects to the router on an outlet extender?
Do you think it'll make my wifi signal stronger I live in an apartment the router is in the living room and in my room I play Xbox it lags a lot when their watching movies or RUclips in the living room on the ps4
You can extend the network into your room with the powerline adapter and plug the xbox directly into it using the RJ45 cable. You wont need to keep a wireless connection. It will be much better with a RJ45 cable instead of the wireless connection.
Is this wifi adapter good with PC Gaming, like Battlefield 3 ,TF2,Minecraft on Online?
I meant Battlefield 4
XD
Wie muß es Leuten damit man weiß das es registriert is mit den WLAN ? danke
How do I access that webpage? I tried the address in the url bar there but it doesn't work.
cmd.
in it type in 'ipconfig'
then find ipv4 address
Does it come with Ethernet cables?
Ok I know I'm a little late but my router is downstairs and my ps4 is in my room. I can't run ethernet up to it and I'm looking into buying this. I currently use wireless and believe it or not I get 2mbps on a great day download speed, and anywhere from 100-700 kbps upload speed. (Ik that's TRASH). Do you think this will significantly increase my speed for gaming? I mean I can constant 2-3 bar on cod and in gta I lag out after 15 minutes in every session. I NEED HELP! Please and thank you.
BTW our router says we get about 50mbps but I've never came anywhere near that speed
that's a ps4 problem.
I was actually looking into the Netgear wireless extender before I found out about this thing. how far away from the router can you plug the receiver in and still get a good connection between the two?
so if my max isp speed is 100mbps i dont need one of their fanciers tp links?
Can this be used on an Sony Blue Ray Player (Ref BDP-S1100)?
will I be able to have alexa in my barn with this. Alexa just plugs into plug. No other place to plug into alexa Thanx

Does it work when power is cut off
it is 110V or 220V or BIVolt(110V & 220V)?
does my router also have to be from tp link for this to work?
+Lon Seidman alright thanks I just ordered
My TP link was disconnecting so I turn off the power saving on powelines hope it fixed it.
Does this create a separate hotspot for wifi?
This device it is amazing. Im have dificulties with my modem router wifi in the far bed9room and bathroom. This device plug and play work like a charm. Just plug in outlet and in ethernet cable from modem and the othr one in farthest point of your home and voila strong wifi signal.
Speed depends on the QUALITY of the wiring too.
Also same phase if in 3-phase elect distribution, looping wiring as well.
Great video, thanks for the help.
hey i have a ps4 and it is in my room and wifi keeps dropping will this help.?
+Kaileen Cruz yes
I am using X-10 is that a problem.
Hello,

IK PLEASE HELP
can someone answer me? I got a 100/50mb internet, so if i do this and plug the wired cable on my PC will i get full speed ? it's important
When i play on ps3 and 4 i get a lot of lag do u think this will clear up my lag
Or course if you are talking about online playing. You can plug in a Ethernet cable into the outlet part and plug the other side to your ps4/PS3 for MAXIUM WIFI SPEED.
Vinh Nguyen alright
Should I get one of these? pls help
***** I didnt say I had wifi
Can I leave it in my ps4 everyday when its off and will it affect it or not
Woogie .Z It will not affect it at all, I've had these plugged into my ps4 for almost 2 years now and rarely turn the powerline adapter off, however the wifi powerline adapter tends to heat up pretty fast so i turn that one off sometimes.
How does it do for gaming?
is there a way I can plug in 2 at the same time?
yes

holy crap! nobody gets 800-900 mbps! lots of ppl are lucky to get 50mbps! i have a cheapo Belkin Router with a range of 300 and have 3 Alexa's and13 other devices connected plus a Desktop and tablet connected with NO Distance or Strength problems! i can go a 100 yds down the road and still have good signal strength and you cannot reach your bedroom? something is wrong with your setup! today i just added a Nexx Garage door controller and it is still kicking! TP Link is a great product! all my Alexis devices are TP Link!
Can I used it outside in the barn?
if there is plugs in it and your normal WiFi reaches their
mine disconnects multiple times a day. is that normal? does anyone have one of these that doesn't cause consistent disruption?
Would this be good for gaming?
I would suggest going with MOCA if you have cable television wiring in your home: lon.tv/moca
