After having spend countless hours in some of these harder boss fights I have come to the conclusion that the single most important thing is to learn these bosses move sets. Once you anticipate an attack or combination of attacks and learn through trial and error how to counter that, the game becomes significantly easier.
The scholar saved the fox, but finally became suspicious because of a dream and killed the fox. This also corresponds to us going back in time and helping the great sage Huang Feng, but he was coaxed by the Bodhisattva and killed him again.

Easiest tactic I found on this is to master your See Through. You can keep this dude pinned to the ground for the first 50% just keep on knocking him down. Also if you do the boar it makes the second half, tornado phases ridiculously easier.
"How dare you come back, why do you have to come back!?" Just goes to show the yellow wind sage recognized the destined one from 500 years ago when he helped him kill the beetle.

i was on this boss around for 5 hours? you definitely need to read his moves. i like to start by freezing him and trying to boost my focus level. then immediately spawn my clones. just take your time. i genuinely recommend the “boar sidequest” once its completed after killing “fuban” they’ll reward you with a vessel called “ wind tamer “ you activate this once he’s around 30% health. this is when he spawns his tornadoes, activating the vessel (R2 + Left analog) removes his tornadoes for a short time and really helps. i hope i can help
I had to go here to rewatch the opening cutscene cause I was too distracted by the fact that I was gonna fight master splinter after we worked together to destroy that big beetle guai 😢
Holy cow this damn boss was a struggle. I recommend staying close and dodging behind him as he attacks. You can catch a pattern as when you dodge behind him you have about 2-3 seconds to land a Square Triangle (PlayStation) combo with the first stance. This will stagger him allowing for more dps. I found this tech to be easy for me throughout the 3 phases. Constantly staying behind him will make some of his combos miss entirely. Took me around 25 minutes with upgrades mainly to my defense on my skill tree and upgrades to my first stance. Didn’t need to use pillar or thrust stances.
Just beat this boss. Took me an hour and was frustrating. But probably couldn't have done it without getting the cloud staff and wind tamer. So I recommended getting those first. Even then the fight is still a pain
If you guys are stuck on this boss, do the boar quest and beat the boss Fuban to get the Wind Tamer vessel, then use it on this boss when he does the wind phase and it'll be easy from there.
Worst boss so far, so much visual clutter, runs away constantly, has phases where you can’t damage him and I’m not even sure what you are supposed to do against his tornado But the worst one of all his is hitbox. The game locks onto his chest when you are fighting him. But his legs are so far apart that half of my hits just straight up miss because I’m swinging in between them
I got stuck on him so I went back to do all the side quests and got the wind tamer. Then I finally came back to beat him, only to realise later I had to equip the wind tamer, not just keep it in my bag......
I'm watching this after getting fed up with the game and realize I'm missing a lot of stuff. I dont have the second spirit slot. This is why the game really needed a map. I have no idea what areas I missed and the travel points don't make any missed exploration easy either.
Jesus, I just got done spending a few days trying to beat Tony the Tiger low and behold 15 minutes later now I gotta fuck with this dude that invisible wall is fucking killing me
well seems nearly everyone has trouble with this boss. The wind/sand barrier in the 2nd phase that makes the arena smaller is so annoying. Most of the time you can't hit the boss and it also acts as a camouflage for his next move. In my opinion they should patch that entire mechanic out of the fight.
Guys, please hear his voice in Chinese in your NG+. The English translation is excellent. But the Original voice hits differently. There is anger, sadness, and a feeling of powerlessness fighting fate. Especially after you fought the big bug with him side by side.
@@EverythingIsMahogany no because they’re trying to mildly pander to the audience. That’s complaining that there is no diversity in the game that’s literally only animals fighting.

lol I was stuck here at level 29 and I thought I have to beat this boss untill I saw that its an optional boss which you can do EASILY later in the game when you are not completely underleveled and undergeared and don't have the items to nullify the abilities of the boss. Now I feel completely stupid wasting 2 hours here and just getting him to 20%
This boss stressed me tf out. Took me nearly 18 tries and even with the wind tamer and buffs he still whooped my ass. I haven’t been this stressed since playing sekiro LOL
This guy fucking blows. There’s an area he can fall back to sometimes where you can’t attack him. He goes outside the boundaries of the fighting area and when trying to engage him it’s like you counter an imaginary wall and can’t make any attacks but he still can because he has a giant radius of aoe attacks.
@@aspectparadox6654wait so does that mean the tiger guard we fought is the same as the tiger vanguard in the bloody arena? It would explain why they both have the same technique.
This mf got me screaming "I DONT SEE NOTHING, I CANT SEE THUS FUCKING RAT" more than once. So i guess each chapter boss has some weakness and you need to explore it with some artifact. I got him on 3 try with that fucking bell

Took me around 25 minutes with upgrades mainly to my defense on my skill tree and upgrades to my first stance. Didn’t need to use pillar or thrust stances.
I somehow beated this boss in two tries and I suck at these type of games😭
Just beat this boss. Took me an hour and was frustrating. But probably couldn't have done it without getting the cloud staff and wind tamer. So I recommended getting those first. Even then the fight is still a pain
If you guys are stuck on this boss, do the boar quest and beat the boss Fuban to get the Wind Tamer vessel, then use it on this boss when he does the wind phase and it'll be easy from there.
This mf has us searching us up yt Tutorials now huh
The moment he gets you with that kick it's gg

Yellow wind sage boss fight, you need a lot of patience, but do not rush it. You need to do dodge his attacks.
Worst boss so far, so much visual clutter, runs away constantly, has phases where you can’t damage him and I’m not even sure what you are supposed to do against his tornado
But the worst one of all his is hitbox. The game locks onto his chest when you are fighting him. But his legs are so far apart that half of my hits just straight up miss because I’m swinging in between them
It's either people find this the hardest boss or the easiest and there's no in-between
I got stuck on him so I went back to do all the side quests and got the wind tamer. Then I finally came back to beat him, only to realise later I had to equip the wind tamer, not just keep it in my bag......
This is my least favourite boss so far the guy can do outside of the fight area and then jump back at u without u even being able to see him
i love this game but this is 100% true he literally jumps out the arena and attacks me but i can’t go out the arena and hit him that’s actually crazy
黄风怪在原著里的技能就是用风吹瞎人的眼睛
Use the Wind Tamer if you use it the tornado will stop you need to complete the boar sidequest
I'm watching this after getting fed up with the game and realize I'm missing a lot of stuff. I dont have the second spirit slot. This is why the game really needed a map. I have no idea what areas I missed and the travel points don't make any missed exploration easy either.
Im exactly at this boss, annoying af
Is he beatable at lvl 27??😂😂😂cuz he’s cookin me
@@uselessman4066 nah im 34 and can only get him at half
im getting cooked myself its so hard to read especially on his second phase

You’ll get this then …Barry mana low 😂
Yup. I can’t beat this guy. Sadly I have tried it all 😂

Jesus, I just got done spending a few days trying to beat Tony the Tiger low and behold 15 minutes later now I gotta fuck with this dude that invisible wall is fucking killing me
I somehow beat him in one try. I was about 2 hits away from death. The wind relic saved my ass .
Great game as the name wukong means (understanding emptiness) as Buddha said ( you come empty you go empty)
well seems nearly everyone has trouble with this boss. The wind/sand barrier in the 2nd phase that makes the arena smaller is so annoying. Most of the time you can't hit the boss and it also acts as a camouflage for his next move. In my opinion they should patch that entire mechanic out of the fight.
Imagine if he is fighting with both hands, strongest boss in the game ….
This boss was easy as heck. Don’t know what you guys are on but, I only took me 35 attempts
This cool bro
The fucking invisible walls in this. Dying so much because of it
Im in the minority who really enjoyed this boss
same, chapter 2 is my favorite in the game
Why is the ending animation has nothing to do with the boss?
The previous animation has something to do with the black bear boss.
i guess game science teach you dont show human mercy to animals
Guys, please hear his voice in Chinese in your NG+. The English translation is excellent. But the Original voice hits differently. There is anger, sadness, and a feeling of powerlessness fighting fate. Especially after you fought the big bug with him side by side.

Yes but that’s only cause English is on lol the natural Chinese is different
Doesn't sound scottish at all.
@@patrickweller52545:06
@@EverythingIsMahogany no because they’re trying to mildly pander to the audience. That’s complaining that there is no diversity in the game that’s literally only animals fighting.
Because the people of this desert region in china has very strong northern-regional accent. Thus, they gives the headless guy a Scottish like accent for a cultural sync
Finally got him after so many attempts...This one was frustrating af
lol I was stuck here at level 29 and I thought I have to beat this boss untill I saw that its an optional boss which you can do EASILY later in the game when you are not completely underleveled and undergeared and don't have the items to nullify the abilities of the boss. Now I feel completely stupid wasting 2 hours here and just getting him to 20%
Quit fucking lying, if you want to complete the chapter, you have to defeat him, he is NOT optional.
fcking boss its my 20 th time this guy never dies
This bastard is giving me more problems than rahdan did
After about an hour or a little more of frustrating fight, i beat him finally
Wait, what was going on in that stop-motion cutscene?
This boss stressed me tf out. Took me nearly 18 tries and even with the wind tamer and buffs he still whooped my ass. I haven’t been this stressed since playing sekiro LOL
This guy fucking blows. There’s an area he can fall back to sometimes where you can’t attack him. He goes outside the boundaries of the fighting area and when trying to engage him it’s like you counter an imaginary wall and can’t make any attacks but he still can because he has a giant radius of aoe attacks.
6:00 9:20
After reading the struggle comments i feel better about God of war Rag.
Why is he trying to kill me? I literally helped him defeat the bug in the desert in that secret mission
That was centuries ago and you weren’t actually there when it happened, it’s a space created by lingering obsessions

黄风怪在原著里就是让别人啥看见
"Not a Soulslike" my ass! As painful as some of these bosses are, it sure feels like one.
What the hell happened with the fox? Was it a real demon? Or just in his head..
I can explain. It means everything will be changed with just one thought. This man may save the fox,but after a dream,he killed it.Just like this boss:many years ago,it beat the big beetle to save people.but then, its greed drove it to make mistakes.
It was more like a warning dream on how Yaoguai have their own nature distinct from humans that will only cause disaster if willfully ignored by humans hence the “none shall disturb what’s decided” bit at the end
dont use your human mind to think about animals
Good fight
I beat him!!! I beat him!!! Fuck yeahhhhhhhh❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I tried 5 hours and i couldnt defeat him without the foban bell. Once i got that i beat him in the 3rd try😂. This Game is insane
