3. If no sound how and where to go to select the settings.
4. Rectifying any errors.

Just did the interface upgrade. I think it would be good to highlight that all existing 3rd party apps will be gone, which includes the carplay apk. There’s a need to reinstall them after the upgrade.

I'm looking into getting a screen like this but it seems I was too late. All the available units have this new update which I refuse to use. I want the UI that you had before the update,, it matches the car and the actual dash UI. What I need is help on finding a way to make the new update look like the old! I really really really want a screen like this but I can't stand the new look 😭

Where I can get the software to update
I recently acquired one of these from my friend but from a w212. But its going in my w204. Do you know if its interchangeable? Im unable to see my oem command through it so im not sure what the issue is. I have the 1st gen screen and it works fine. Also, any chance you can share the update? I wonder if that will fix my issue. I can't seem to find any place online to get the update. The seller says its too old so they no longet have it.

Hey, Why do you have the USB coming out the side of the center console? Does in not connect to the factory USB port in the center console?

I copy and opened the file and copied it to usb and put it on the screen and it is still the same
The screen is my problem, it is the length of time it works from 3 seconds to 4 seconds and turns off and then it works from 3 to 4 seconds and so on.

The first screen of its car was good work, but the colors were intertwined and we worked on it to reset the factory.
Do you know how to do a factory reset on this unit? Using a reset pin
in the hole on the side of the unit isn't enough. Want to reset it to

Hello, I have a 1920x780 resolution. In this case how can I install the update?

I have my OEM camera connected. But next week I’ll be showing how to install a hi-def aftermarket backup camera to the screen. So stay tuned.

Hi . I havr C250 2012 years and when i push full thorthle sometimes car loses power it looks like turbo turns off and check engine comes. Can you help me how to solve problem . Thanks

Mine did this, it was a faulty DPF pressure sensor, it wouldn’t regenerate so would go into limp mode, turning off and on again would sort it but id check the DPF filter

Don’t know. Never had that issue. You need to contact whoever you bought the screen from for support.
Did it ever disconnect randomly or freeze up when using carplay? I bought one thru 4x4 canada shop but it freezes sometimes and disconnects randomly. Thanks

Hi to all, when in android mode and you need to engage the reverse , do you need to press ntg button first ??
You need to select your OEM camera in the settings when you first set up your screen.
Everytime you reverse, your OEM camera will show everytime...doesn't matter in NTG or Android mode.

Hey flex. I installed my android screen on my W212 the OEM display portion is not working. When I switch back to it, it looks super zoomed in, any thoughts ?
go to ure settings page, enter the hidden menu by tapping on the top of the menu that comes up. then find hte ntg options menu and select the correct ntg size u like

Flexx, any advice to get NTG mode working? For me it’s black screen, KF appears in CAN numberand I selected sedan, and screen resolutions, 3 & 2 for I have a 2010 pre-facelift w204 and no luck.
I'm having the same problem as of a week ago. Black screen on ntg as well, but have sound. No backup camera either. Have a 2011 e350 w212. Changed the lvds cable as per Daniel at DMP. Still nothing. I'm out of options. Please help if you can.

Does anyone know how to get android updates for the screens?
You can’t just get it randomly cause if the file isn’t compatible with your screens software, you’ll brick the screen. You need to get the file from whoever sold you the screen. If you bought your screen from DMP, contact them and they can provide you with the update file (if available).

Yeah, I don’t. I’m not gonna be responsible for someone updating their screen (where I have no idea where they bought it from) with my file and bricking it. And then blaming me.
Just cause their screen looks like mine, doesn’t mean it’s the same screen that can take the same updates. Internal components and software are different. This file only works with DMP screens. And they will send a file specific to their screens specific to the person’s car.
This file is not for screens bought on eBay, Amazon, AliExpress, etc…

How can i decide betweena 10.25 and a 12.5 screen?
It wasnt much more for the 12" so i went with it. Why not
12,5 is better, have it in my w218 cls, comes with all UI, ntg5, 5.5, mbux, like in New s class.

flexx, I'm having the same issue as described below. Can't seem to get the NTG screen to work after the update. I've gone through all 13 of the resolution options with no luck. Tried contacting DMP but no response since Sunday.
