    this is great to see. I've just ordered myself an a380 since i have a tight budget atm, i've just buillt my system a week ago, i went with the amd 8600g because i wasn't sure how long it would be till i got a gpu, then the more i look the a380 blows the onboard graphics of the 8600g (in most cases) out of the water, doubling performance in most games if not more. Still handy to be able to switch between the two until i get a proper GPU upgrade and a proper CPU to go with it.
    I've been interested in the a770 but the one i want is currently out of stock and i was a bit hesitant to spend the £200+ when i'm not sure how certain software i want to use with it will even work. Like I'm currently developing using unreal engine (started on a gtx 1070 intel i7 8th gen laptop, but it underperforms heavily now, so i've been making do with a steam deck for a year) 4, and the only things i can find on UE4 working on arc cards is a brief mention by puget systems saying it works well.
    Well i'm not expecting the a380 to be able to run unreal engine 4 that well, but for £100 odd i thought i'd give it a try. At the least i've got a nice AV1 encoder card that can also game, and game better than my APU in many cases. I'm pretty certain most emulators will work better with the a380 vs the ryzen 8600g onboard graphics. Plus it will free up system ram.
    Keep up the good videos!

    One big issue with lsfg, no vrr support, apart from that, amazing work from the devs.

      Cuz Nvidia doesn't deserve it. Since they try to exclusive everything for the tech so then this is to be fair 😂

      @@SWITCHWISE00i was about to say it work wonders on my 6700 XT, didn't knew about that NVidia shinnanogans, the VRR implementation in LS is great cause it caps your generated frames to your monitor refresh rate so if your GPU can push above half your monitor refresh rate it reduces quite a lot the performance over head the software needs and reduce the input latency, i play in a 165hz QHD monitor, its quite hard to hit above 100fps in current games, but if i can ensure 90+ the experience feel wonders, also theres some trickery the developer implemented that the latency and frame pacing are miles better them AMD AFMF, it dosen't hold the latest frame to display it to you after a generated one is made, so the latency is imperceptable, cause they delay you are getting is not because the presented frames are a little behind, its because the performance over head that reduces your base frame a bit, amazing technology

    If you use frame gen, its more to cpu or gpu bond? Because i have old cpu and decent gpu, so basically if my monitor 60 hz just cap my fps to 30 so frame gen can work better

    I tested on Xenia emulator canary, i limit emulator to 30 fps, but LSFG doesn't work , The game still feels like 30fps and looks slow motion, how to fix?

    • @entertainmenttechie7574
      @entertainmenttechie7574  Месяц назад

      @@RizkyAshary I honestly couldn’t tell you. Does the game originally run at 60fps? If that’s the case, limiting it to 30 could cause the slowdown. Most of the games I tested already ran at 30fps so I didn’t have to limit them.

      @@RizkyAshary Yeah I don't think that is going to work 😅 If it was originally meant to be played at 60fps, then you are literally slowing it down 😆The game I showed was default 30fps so when you use LSFG it will increase it to 60fps. If it was a PC game you probably could do it. If you are using rtss, you might want to try this one: wiki.special-k.info/

      I tried it on my 2060 and it was pretty consistent with 60fps! I didn't do any upscaling as I thought it looked pretty good already but it seemed to have plenty of head room it only was using about 25% of the GPU. I never knew that game only ran at 30fps I just assumed they upped it when it released on Wii U lol.
