Far cry 4 is still the best far cry due to Gameplay Though Far Cry new Dawn had the BEST Animations, Characters and weapons You got a shitty 1911? Far cry 3 is, and will (probably) be my favorite. the villain was terrifying and I love the skill tree. the tattoo you get was badass. it was also the first far cry game i played.

@@nidula that's the irony Far Cry taking place in America is a very Far Cry and also it's just Cults and America go side by side and we may never see a far cry game like 5 for a long time plus you have to keep in mind for a bunch of other people outside of America they never have never been still would be quite interesting and even people who live in America but don't live in country it's because I've been in La Long Beach area my whole life basically played Far Cry 5 and was like damn this shits gorgeous

I remember it as the worst piece of shit mission in my gaming career. Not sure what I did fuck up, but I remember having little to no health upgrades on Infamous (NG+ difficulty) and couldn't postpone the mission due to how it's triggered. It almost made me Vaas 2.0... "Doing the same shit over and over again expecting something to change"
New dawn is way too fucking underrated, I completly agree with this- arguably the worst story in the entire series but also arguably the most enjoyable gameplay loop

Just finishes far cry 5 and holy shit. This hits hard. The whole idea of having a cult group buying many estates in Montana and basically cutting it off from everywhere is kind of unsettling because this could happen. Also just take a look at the beginning, it's so badass and unsettling. The boss fights arent that bad but the endings. Perfect. there's more things to go into like companions (cheeseburger and boomer) that are amazing. The cult outpost liberation missions are fun and the weapons, sound design, graphics (played it on xbox series s) where beautiful. Overall extremely fun game Farcry 3: "Let me tell you the definition of insanity"

I started playing FC3 yesterday and didn't even know it has such a good reputation. I was definitely hooked in the 1st hours. Seems like I'm in for a treat!
Far cry 3 is my favorite game in the series, aside from vaas being a badass villain, i loved the feeling of being in an island that made me feel lost and be on high alert in case i get jumped by pirates or a wild animal, as for far cry 5 i haven't been to Montana so seeing a far cry game taking place there is awesome.
Yeh I got it a week ago and I have been staying all night playing it since I still haven't tried 6 or new dawn but this one was one of my favs and brought alot of joy to me

But as soon as things went south when the chopper crashed, they should've just regrouped and gone to get the cavalry. It's super unrealistic that they can't contact anyone outside the county.
@@Wojtek_-oz4mt They wouldn't have even attempted to arrest Joseph Seed with just 4 people and a helicopter. If Far Cry 5 was realistic, it would be a week-long siege and shootout with a bunch of a federal agents and armored vehicles.
Just bought far cry 3, its great, only real complaint is it keeps crashing and that could very well be an issue on my end. I literally can't stop playing it's so good.
FC5 was the best. They made joseph seed such a realistic cult leader that by the end of new dawn he tricked a bunch of players and the deputy into thinking he is the good guy.

Played them all besides Primal and 6. 5 just made me mad with how they changed bullet speed and it just felt like I was playing airsoft. Gorgeous game and amazing sandbox as per what i'd expect from a Farcry game though. Beat it and still didnt get used to the bullet speed. Had fun but it just didn't hit right. Gonna move on to 6 soon.
Legit far cry 3 was my first ever violent video game. My first game to introduce me to the story. I was a kid then so I couldn’t appreciate the story but boy when I replayed it. It was like a wave of 100ft nostalgia hit me. Easily my favorite far cry game. Had an amazing villain. Who I’ll be honest I thought was the only big bad untill I played again and saw I had a mission which led to Hoyt and finally finishing the game. Crazy that a villain was so compelling and made me think it was the end.
My first Far Cry game was Far Cry 2. I remember mostly liking the game, but the tedium of the Malaria meant I couldn't bring myself to finish it out of increasing frustration with that mechanic. But when Far Cry 3 Came out, I got it anyways. Love it to pieces. My brother hates how I compare every other Far Cry game to 3, But in my defense, no other Far Cry Game has matched that great balance between gameplay, story, and immersion.
I’ve never really seen anyone praise Mickey and Lou as good villains, but I’ve always though they were fantastic villains, but in a very different way. They aren’t special, they don’t own multiple fancy locations, they’re just a pair of angry twins trying to steal from innocent people. They’re more annoying than antagonistic, but that actually makes it more satisfying when you finally get to snap their spine liek a glow stick.
Far Cry 5 was my favourite and for me the best with all glitches, sandbox, weapons, upgrades and still a story, my kind of game. And the graphics and gameplay was probably better than all of them. And i've played a little of far cry 3 and i would love a remake of it. With better graphics obviously, far cry 5 gameplay, and better ragdoll physics, that was always a problem to me, the ragdoll. Although without those weird ragdoll physics much fun i had wouldn't be possible but still
honestly i think far cry 5 had the most realistic type of story, the reason i was scared most of the time playing is because it made me think “how far would people go for their beliefs?” or “how desperate are people to find something to believe in?”
I don't really get it. I beat the game and was straight faced the whole time. Am I the only person that realizes you play as an 18 year old with no military or even firearm experience and you just merc hundreds of camps right out the gate? In 3 weeks you're a master warrior? Its a good game, but I can't take it seriously.
@@arieson7715 I think it’s because back in the pre-historic days otherwise known as 1990s - early 2010s, games were more focused on being fun than realistic like they are now, sure, basic realism was still important, but one of the main goals of your game was to make it so it was enjoyable to play regardless of how unrealistic plots might have been. Like someone burning weed fields to a banger of a song in the background, realistic? No, fun as hell? Absolutely.
I remember when FarCry 5 came out it was getting alot of hate but eventualy, people realized it was a pretty good game and its still one of my favorites till now.
Primal is what actually got me into far cry and then far cry 3 and onr of my fav far cry 5 but nothing will beat the feeling of taming every fucking animal in far cry primal and using your eagle.
There's just something about it that's different and special. The loneliness you feel when you have to travel in car and difficulty in using tha map and driving at the same time. When I first played it as a kid I was kind of scared from it. I'm planning to replay it in some time future.

Playing 6 now and I'm having a damn good time. 3 was one of my favorite games period and the last I played so the been there done that feeling has faded enough to dive in. Plus I got it for PS5 with all the dlc for like $20 on sale
Unrealistic? A cult literally took over a small rural town in Pronghorn, Oregon. They all had weapons and even built an airstrip. Farcry 5 is absolutely realistic
Minus the nuclear warhead ending which honestly how the fuck didn’t the government easily put a stop to that? That aside the idea of a Cult taking over a small area is believable minus some of the other stuff the story throws at you. Plus they would easily get obliterated by the national guard and highly armored and well trained swat units.
FC3 Blood Dragon is my personal favorite. It's still available to buy and I can highly recommend it even in 2024. It's a masterpiece that's ageing very well!

And seeing how jason went from being afraid to kill to a psychopath and killing without caring and in the ending he comes to realize how he changed into a monster Vaas was a really good villain with a fair point
@@Real-Rat exactly. I think the 3 is the only game in history to portray people actually feeling some inner feeling throughout slaughtering people. If you were to just play a game that involves a lot of bloodshed, the protagonist doesn't have a care in the world. Far cry 3 shows how he went from an innocent person to a monster. That's what I've found so cool about it

Definitely closer to the truth than this Video. Far Cry 3 will be foreever the best far cry game. But far cry 4 was the closest of all other far cry games to far cry 3 and the story was one of the best. So it should come into top 3 easily.
the worst thing about far cry is the fall damage. dani in fc6 can withstand over 2 mins of rapid gunfire to her head with no protection from an attack helicopter, but cant survive a 3 meter fall with full health. also no wingsuit/glider which i think is a staple of every far cry game
Far cry 5 was my first game, I just bought 3, primal, 4, and new dawn. I killed Vaas last night and then spent an hour or so maxing my inventory space and clearing all of the outposts on the top of the map. It’s hilarious how anytime they have a poached animal you can just free it and watch them all die from a distance. Disappointing to know the series goes downhill from what I’ve already played
Far Cry Primal is definitely the odd one out, but I enjoy it so much as it’s own game, but it feels weird to think that it’s part of the Far Cry franchise.
my favourite one is far cry 6 and 5 im havent play any far cry before cause i start a few month ago with the 6 and i just up to 100% in 3 days just to say the story is awesome , environment wow with the south america type city and forest graphics and details awesome too just a good game, im starting the 5 and i feel like its a more serious and deep story (in both the soundtrack is one of the best i heard too)
@@chickengodgus agreed. There are even MORE hills and cliffs which just makes it have the illusion of being big... but riding the Gyrocopter breaks that illusion big time. far cry 3 felt more free when you just run around.
Honestly, started with far cry 3, then 4, then 6 and 5. I gotta say here's my favorite takes from each game I played. Far Cry 3: Honestly, the VA for Vass killed it. Also plays in Breaking Bad so a cool little fact, Far Cry 4: The idea of choosing a separate path and having different takes on missions was cool, Far Cry 5: I genuinely loved the fact that it introduced more vehicles and companions to the game, Far Cry 6: So honestly my favorite personally, I liked the whole loadout system, the fact all but one companion can ride with you and the character you play (Dani) can talk, and sing to the tunes. Absolutely hoping another Far Cry drops lmao, one of my favorite game franchises. But remember, only you can cull the herd.

Bro why is everyone saying FC5 is realistic 💀 I played the game and fucking loved it, but holy shit there’s no way the government just would say “aight.” after multiple officers go missing, an entire county goes dark, and the man you sent said officers to arrest don’t come back, and to know an armed cult is involved would definitely spark a response. Even if Joseph had ties within the government to say “don’t send the national guard.”

I agree 100%, when he got to new dawn I said "Then it comes fc5 and then number 1 far cry3." It's also my first game in the series, when I was younger I tried playing it, I had like 7 years and my brother was trying to tell my mom to not let me play it cuz it was, well, far cry as it is, but I still finished it!
sorry but it's really boring for me. the enemies are fucking bullet sponges, they are more annoying than fun to fight. like they literally just wear t shirts or don't even have clothes on and could still take 2 shotgun hits from close range.
@@alduinfr Exactly, it has more similarities with a survival game than an action RPG FPS. You are always at your toes. You come to fear the encounters and try to avoid them at all costs. The game makes you feel like you are stranded in a hostile world and everyone is after you. The later games took a different appraoch and made a video game equivalent of a Hollywood Blockbuster.

I’m playing FC 6 now and I’m digging it. FC 3 is my all time favorite but I find myself playing FC 5 more often than any of the others. I’ve beaten it 3 times so I may have a new number 1.

Far cry 3 is my favorite game in the series, aside from vaas being a badass villain, i loved the feeling of being in an island that made me feel lost and be on high alert in case i get jumped by pirates or a wild animal, as for far cry 5 i haven't been to Montana so seeing a far cry game taking place there is awesome.

Played them all besides Primal and 6. 5 just made me mad with how they changed bullet speed and it just felt like I was playing airsoft. Gorgeous game and amazing sandbox as per what i'd expect from a Farcry game though. Beat it and still didnt get used to the bullet speed. Had fun but it just didn't hit right. Gonna move on to 6 soon.

Legit far cry 3 was my first ever violent video game. My first game to introduce me to the story. I was a kid then so I couldn’t appreciate the story but boy when I replayed it. It was like a wave of 100ft nostalgia hit me. Easily my favorite far cry game. Had an amazing villain. Who I’ll be honest I thought was the only big bad untill I played again and saw I had a mission which led to Hoyt and finally finishing the game. Crazy that a villain was so compelling and made me think it was the end.

My first Far Cry game was Far Cry 2. I remember mostly liking the game, but the tedium of the Malaria meant I couldn't bring myself to finish it out of increasing frustration with that mechanic. But when Far Cry 3 Came out, I got it anyways. Love it to pieces. My brother hates how I compare every other Far Cry game to 3, But in my defense, no other Far Cry Game has matched that great balance between gameplay, story, and immersion.

I’ve never really seen anyone praise Mickey and Lou as good villains, but I’ve always though they were fantastic villains, but in a very different way. They aren’t special, they don’t own multiple fancy locations, they’re just a pair of angry twins trying to steal from innocent people. They’re more annoying than antagonistic, but that actually makes it more satisfying when you finally get to snap their spine liek a glow stick.

Far Cry 5 was my favourite and for me the best with all glitches, sandbox, weapons, upgrades and still a story, my kind of game. And the graphics and gameplay was probably better than all of them. And i've played a little of far cry 3 and i would love a remake of it. With better graphics obviously, far cry 5 gameplay, and better ragdoll physics, that was always a problem to me, the ragdoll. Although without those weird ragdoll physics much fun i had wouldn't be possible but still

@@arieson7715 I think it’s because back in the pre-historic days otherwise known as 1990s - early 2010s, games were more focused on being fun than realistic like they are now, sure, basic realism was still important, but one of the main goals of your game was to make it so it was enjoyable to play regardless of how unrealistic plots might have been. Like someone burning weed fields to a banger of a song in the background, realistic? No, fun as hell? Absolutely.

There's just something about it that's different and special. The loneliness you feel when you have to travel in car and difficulty in using tha map and driving at the same time. When I first played it as a kid I was kind of scared from it. I'm planning to replay it in some time future.

Unrealistic? A cult literally took over a small rural town in Pronghorn, Oregon. They all had weapons and even built an airstrip. Farcry 5 is absolutely realistic
Minus the nuclear warhead ending which honestly how the fuck didn’t the government easily put a stop to that? That aside the idea of a Cult taking over a small area is believable minus some of the other stuff the story throws at you. Plus they would easily get obliterated by the national guard and highly armored and well trained swat units.

If you were to just play a game that involves a lot of bloodshed, the protagonist doesn't have a care in the world. Far cry 3 shows how he went from an innocent person to a monster. That's what I've found so cool about it

The one complaint I have with far cry 6 is there isn’t really the same hunting/crafting mechanics as the other games.
the worst thing about far cry is the fall damage. dani in fc6 can withstand over 2 mins of rapid gunfire to her head with no protection from an attack helicopter, but cant survive a 3 meter fall with full health. also no wingsuit/glider which i think is a staple of every far cry game

Far cry 5 was my first game, I just bought 3, primal, 4, and new dawn. I killed Vaas last night and then spent an hour or so maxing my inventory space and clearing all of the outposts on the top of the map. It’s hilarious how anytime they have a poached animal you can just free it and watch them all die from a distance. Disappointing to know the series goes downhill from what I’ve already played

my favourite one is far cry 6 and 5 im havent play any far cry before cause i start a few month ago with the 6 and i just up to 100% in 3 days just to say the story is awesome , environment wow with the south america type city and forest graphics and details awesome too just a good game, im starting the 5 and i feel like its a more serious and deep story (in both the soundtrack is one of the best i heard too)

Honestly, started with far cry 3, then 4, then 6 and 5. I gotta say here's my favorite takes from each game I played. Far Cry 3: Honestly, the VA for Vass killed it. Also plays in Breaking Bad so a cool little fact, Far Cry 4: The idea of choosing a separate path and having different takes on missions was cool, Far Cry 5: I genuinely loved the fact that it introduced more vehicles and companions to the game, Far Cry 6: So honestly my favorite personally, I liked the whole loadout system, the fact all but one companion can ride with you and the character you play (Dani) can talk, and sing to the tunes. Absolutely hoping another Far Cry drops lmao, one of my favorite game franchises. But remember, only you can cull the herd.

I played the game and fucking loved it, but holy shit there’s no way the government just would say “aight.” after multiple officers go missing, an entire county goes dark, and the man you sent said officers to arrest don’t come back, and to know an armed cult is involved would definitely spark a response. Even if Joseph had ties within the government to say “don’t send the national guard.”
I guess the deputy was just from a very small pd so it was just them and Nancy who was the one working with Joseph It still is very unrealistic because one person can’t kill an entire cult of a million people

@@alduinfr Exactly, it has more similarities with a survival game than an action RPG FPS. You are always at your toes. You come to fear the encounters and try to avoid them at all costs. The game makes you feel like you are stranded in a hostile world and everyone is after you. The later games took a different appraoch and made a video game equivalent of a Hollywood Blockbuster.
