So the riff was TECHNICALLY written by everyone but Lars, it was recorded by Jason, based off the demo recorded by James, based off the riff written by Kirk, there were minor changes made at each step
Suicide and redemption riff All nightmare long riff End of the line riff intro The day that never comes riff before solo Manunkind intro Spit out the bone bass solo 72 seasons bass intro Bass intro to Sleepwalk
That is unpopular opinions. They never played so good. Rob put life back into the band and it shows how much he enjoys playing there and how much People love him
@@gansior4744 ummm never played better 89 to maybe 94 was peak Metallica live. They might enjoy playing together but that isn't playing better. They would sound much better live with Jason. While most Metallica fans are fine with Rob I think many would be happy to see Jason back. Those aren't unpopular opinions, maybe just opinions you don't agree with.
I kinda see what you mean, but here's where I disagree. Honestly, metallica doesn't use rob's talent to their full effect. If you're talking about stylistically and technicality, Rob is the best bassist metallica ever had. Unfortunately, they don't have him write too many songs. Based off the documentaries for both Hardwired and Death Magnetic, the main songs rob contributed for (integrating his other styles) were all nightmare long and the intro to manunkind. I think Lars and James need to get off their high horse and let rob be more involved in the songwriting
"Bob rock not included" - My World was recorded by Bob Rock :D
that song is so bad.....
@@sebg2086 I actually like it

My friend of misery: Am I a joke to you
Not thunderous and Loud, but very beautiful and sad
Yes, it is
@@megamuerte6934 exactly! Otherwise id prefer ManUnkind intro to the Spit out the Bone interlude
For My World you should have shown Bob Rock, he filled in on bass for St. Anger
True but I wanted a cool st anger part for Rob
Also Shoot Me Again intro's end?
@@Cthulhu_Awaken damn right
This man popped out of nowhere and IMMEDIATELY started making bangers lol
Just saying, Rob didn't record anything at all on St.Anger 😀😀
I have just one word.
Cliff.
Very good 😊
"My World" was played by Bob, not Rob. Different Robert. Much more Canadian.
Should’ve showed Bob Rock on My World because that’s his bass track
The more i see Jason
Wow I had no idea Cliff had an Alembic.
The Outlaw Torn?
King Nothing is better i guess
That was Jameses :/
Wasn't the King Nothing bass line written by James?
Devils Dance was.
@@KotnascherXII Ah alright. Thank you
It was
It's based on the main riff, which IS most probably written by Papa Het, since he's the main songwriter.
So the riff was TECHNICALLY written by everyone but Lars, it was recorded by Jason, based off the demo recorded by James, based off the riff written by Kirk, there were minor changes made at each step
You should’ve put wherever I may roam where he has a 12 string bass
call of ktulu?
could've inclued the end of the line
Too bad Ron McGovney doesn't have record . Only demos .
Cyanide?
smh rob hasn't really brought anything great to metallica to be honest, he is still great tho.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t like Robert bass style in Metallica
I still mis Jason
@@brandonkdrummer they should fire rob and get Jason back and let eco Brain tour with Metallica
