- Hey guys I am currently a network analyst with hopes of soon moving into Cyber Security.
In this video I will be taking you guys through my day as a network analyst working out of a NOC (Network Operation Center).
Its really hard to film in these types of environments so please ask me any questions you may have in the comments below.
Nice to see brothas in the IT field, thank you for this man
Keep pushing man. Im a Digital Forensics Senior, but I started as a NOC analyst.. it will get frustrating and boring, but keep pushing and stay on those certs.
6am? Sod that
I can barely hear you
IT is an excellent career choice …. Anybody can do it simple as that. Just requires motivation and best of all if you learn on the job that’s even better just learn the material don’t necessarily need to pass the exams it’s all about doing
From a brotha to another brotha, I am so proud to see you doing your thing. Humble attitude. God bless
I worked as a tech support specialist before the pandemic but got laid off. It was my first tech job and I loved it. The pay was awesome and the job was so laid back. It's something I wish to do in the future and I want it to become my future career.
“Network analyst” sounds like a difficult role. Probably because I don’t know what network analyst have to do.
Why homie had to flex the gated community on us though 😂
I watched a 5 minute ad just so you get some monetization :D
Nice!! You work so hard every single day I can't wait myself to be a network engineer :) I'm working hard for my future field
I watched this video a year ago when it was recommended to me by RUclips and since then, I began watching tech videos mostly about networking and cybersecurity. I was motivated by this video to get a career in IT and network monitoring interested me. Few months ago, I began applying and I here to say I've been accepted for a NOC technician and I've no networking experience except the networking courses I took in college. I'm ready to work extra hard to get a SOC analyst role by April next year. That's my goal 🙏
Just like one of the top comments said. Great to see brothers doing their thing in the IT field. Just overcame complacency and landed my first EMR help desk gig. Now I’m here trying to brainstorm a my next move with something i think i will love long term with my current gig and I was thinking something along the lines of systems analyst with EMR systems. But anyways keep doing your thing brother. Glad i came across this. Love seeing ppl who look like me in this field. It’s rare here in NYC.
Nice to see a brother out here putting in the work. I'm double majoring in aviation and information tech. I want to be an airline pilot and at the same time do remote IT work. There is alot of time off as a pilot, so its good to make that extra bread.
Thank you for sharing. I'm currently a level 1 technician, trying to figure out where I want to go next. Keep up the good work king!
Great Video Man. You smart as hell for taking on that project. I'm a Core Network Controller for the 3rd biggest network Company here in South Africa and it's quite interesting how your day or shifts rather are a bit different from mine. Basics pretty much the same though
that civic flex, i see you
Thanks for sharing man, switching into IT right now and looking at networking as an entry point. Definitely appreciate you putting this kind of info out for those of us that haven't experienced it yet. I only watched the first few seconds of the vid, though, cause of the Braves shirt, didn't expect much after seeing that.....just playin. Thanks again man, good stuff. Go Tribe.
What programme did you study in college?
It’s really good to see this. I’ve been in IT for a year now and never thought I would see it. I plan to move up and forward in IT and this encouraged me more. Can’t dream it if u haven’t seen it.
