Yes *Mr.Luccas024* ..Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

@@johnjones99124It genuinely depends, as someone put before it doesn’t unlock depression but it shows you the key. You may need more than one trip, if you’re nervous and prone to anxiety trying first time at a smaller dose 1.5g to get a feel for it will make it a great experience, and you can bump it up to a proper full trip which is 3.5-5. 5g dried is a massive heroic dose, you won’t OD but you need to take the whole day and night free from any responsibilities to make sure your brain keeps on track of what you’re experiencing and to reflect on it afterwards
Everyone’s trip is different and even “bad trips” show you things you dont want to see, but they may be beneficial for you to realize regardless. Best of luck, 3.5g was a big step for me but I want to go higher as I didn’t quite get as profound impact but my depression was gone for some months, make sure not to combine it with alcohol, weed or other drugs, just have some water and enjoy the ride

Good thing is you can do it again. Once a year is a good way to go about if you’re mentally and physically healthy. You never want to trip on psyches heavily dosed more than once a month but that would not good for you in my opinion. With shrooms I did feel a near complete change to that mindset and lifestyle

@@chriskim9289 true, but it's still not what I found from lsd. It also depends on if you mean happiness or contentment because those are two very different things. For instance, after my trip on lsd, I saw the path that would give me maximal contentment and it completely changed my work ethic. Before I used to just go through the motions of uni because I was good enough to get a good grade but not guarantee a first without ever attending a lecture. Now I attend all my lectures, have essentially dropped playing games and have rather minimal leisure which I spend listening to music or making music. All that from one 100-125ug trip. I might find the work easy atm, but I'm going to be more content knowing that I'm following the most meaningful path laid out for me. I also have a research project with no real limit on it which I'm going to go hard on and make a meaningful contribution to maths. I'm not going to never take leisure obviously and I am going to trip again and watch movies, go to gigs etc. Would that count as hedonism? It may well bring me the most happiness in the long term.
Funnily enough, my project is on fractals lol. Couldn't say where that inspiration came from.

It is so true that during and after a psilocybin experience people, ( not just I myself but many people I've known) suddenly become much more grateful and humble, thankful for the world we live in .
It gives that person a far better outlook on their life and that of others .
It's different everytime but that , spiritual experience is so powerful and can stay with a person for the rest of their lives it instills a different mindset and view of the planet we live in.
You feel ( I feel, I should say) that it makes me feel more connected with the world in ways I never could've imagined where it not for these naturally occurring fungi.
Very few people in my experience have come away with a negative experience and thats also down to individual mindsets , negativity - positivity and security .
Security because being with someone who is experienced in psilocybin and acts as a ' guide' for the newcomer and is always there to remind them, ' you are ok, I am here with you and I will make sure it stays that way' .
This can make or break it for newcomers and I'd always advise a guide

Trust me an extreme negative experience can leave negative residual effects. Seen it in a couple friends that had really bad trips. They’re more fearful.
Edit: just would like to say that I don’t discredit the positive effects. I think there’s great use for this and has great and healthy benefits. But just do your research, respect and use the drug with care and healthy intent if you are gonna do it on your own, and pace yourself. Be in a clean, positive environment and have good intentions beforehand. Dont just Jump off the deep end for your first time with a heavy dose because your experienced friend said it would be “fun”. A lot of inexperienced people are thrown into psychedelic experiences that they’re not ready for due to peer pressure. They can also have underlying traumas and mental health issues that friends don’t understand that translate into their trip. They then become easily overwhelmed and the trip is a difficult experience for them. So yeah respect how powerful psychedelic experiences can be and be sure to do it in more controlled and healthy environment and realize that fesr is just a natural human emotion that you’re going to experience. Just don’t gotta latch onto it. Under the right settings, it’ll open up good parts of your heart and mind you never knew you had! Much love to you all hope you find wisdom and happiness in your life! This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. I think that people who have a negative experience, or bad trip, have some mental issues that cause them to block the good effects. It’s true that psychedelics can permanently alter your psyche, that could easily induce paranoia, ie not quite understanding what the drug had done to you and whether you were happy with it, I can tell my father took psychedelics in the 60’s without him telling me, it manifests in his underlying philosophy that reality is a false play / curtain and behind it we’re all one consciousness etc, this pervades underneath his outlook. I would not always describe that as a positive outlook.

Mushrooms rewire the brain's communication system to its natural state. Your body communicates with itself and it's surroundings on a much different frequency. Dead ass - I don't even like killing bugs anymore! Because I feel like I can't interrupt their experience in nature. Like no I never used think like that. And the craziest mushroom story of all time...
Dead serious - I went out with a guy I was dating one night. We had our fun. We were going to trip the next night but I decided to trip alone - I didn't want to go out. So I ate them and began doing a deep meditation… Before I knew it they were taking me through these dreams where I was a plant growing and popped out of the ground to see the light of the sun, next thing I know it was a hospital room and it was a baby being born. The mushrooms took me up, the umbilical cord and into the eyes of the mother when I realize they were my eyes. And mushrooms told me that I am hosting life. It had been one day. I obviously took a test and it was negative. I went to my doctor and took a test. It was also negative. I took test after test I was just convinced and finally on the third week it came back positive. I knew over a week before I even missed my period. All because the mushrooms told me! Wild!
Don't worry no babies were harmed in the uniqueness of this story. No one was hurt, she wasn't even developing yet.

It was horrifying, but I am glad I had that experience because it taught me that I am capable of having a terrifying experience. It didn’t do any real harm to me, but it neutralized my euphoria and brought me back to baseline. And that was fine with me.

Aren't you supposed to live life so that you can experience these emotions and stresses as nature intended, so you gain the real full understanding of the how what where and when of things works, not just experiencing the feeling of the emotions with no connection to reality, with no real causality.

    • @kylehagie1647
      @kylehagie1647 Год назад +1

@@Alfred5555 good question. I think the lack of causality is an assumption. reality is not hidden to someone on a psychedelic trip, in fact, it is more clearly visible. the connection between all neurons is strengthened; one can recall every instance of depth that an object has more readily. like being able to speed read the pages of your memory.

    • @Alfred5555
      @Alfred5555 Год назад

@@kylehagie1647 No it can't, that's just how you feel when you're high. Serotonin based drugs use that serotonin as a neural transmitter (because that's what it is), when it floods your brain it doesn't "connect areas of your brain stronger" it temporarily turns the pathways of your brain into highways, like pouring water onto electrical wires, they all suddenly get uncontrollably connected, it's literally just "crossed wires" causing you to trip out, in other medical words, brief moments of simulated brain damage. You can see this in video of recorded early testing of LSD on artists and soldiers, the artist eventually literally loses the ability to draw when only 10 hours ago he could draw very life like faces, now he can see physically see no difference between his original drawing before being high and his few scratchy lines and circles after being high, he isnt more perceptive he is very clearly less perceptive, he can only see the most bold and defined parts of his drawing, he has lost the ability of perception at least physical perception, he just wants to close his eyes and submerge himself in the euphoria, but even the most intest euphoria approaching crying, seemingky orgasmic, just one big clap by the doctor interupts it all. Similarly soldiers who are unknowingly dosed, completely lose the ability to function in any useful way, they laugh and giggle and are just away with the fairies, while their commander is trying his best to read a map and remember what they're supposed to be doing but who is also in a different dimension, eventually calling of the exercise and sitting out the trip in the barracks just talking with the sober nurses about feeling really funny and seeing the whole room changing size and shape.
In reality, your body is essentially in shock, trying to maintain homeostasis while blindfolded, like trying to ride a bike as someone just hit you in the back of the head with a baseball bat. When completely intoxicated you are hardly able to lift a glass of water and take a drink, let alone being in some sort of hightened state. Your urges for hunger and thirst can be described as turning off, the feeling of blind inexplicable intoxication causes the rationalisation by the subject that they dont want to do anything that might alter or precisely "ruin" their euphoria, they become quite uncooperative and removed, describing the taste of food as quite nice but the idea of eating is disgusting because it would take them out of the physiological intensity of the trip, rather similar to videos i have seen of interviews with catatonic schizophrenics. These sorts of drugs are categorically not performance enhancing, they are psychedelics, hallucinogens, they take you out of yourself in more ways than one.
All this actually isn't the aspect that I meant when I said the "experiences aren't connected to reality", but this physical aspect too is also completely removed.

I've used psychedelic substances since I was 19 or 20. It's something like 40 years since I first found "Liberty Caps" in a pasture in Norway. It was the year before they decided to make a wild mushroom illegal to possess. it's ridiculous that one of the best natural remedies in the world, should be a scheduled substance. I don't think I have ever abused the mushrooms, but they have helped me out of depression and given me a lot of good ideas. They have tought me to see that Nature is our connection to the spiritual and mystical, our mother as biological beings. I think taking it as a 19 year old guy who struggled with many things, eating 25 little mushrooms directly as I picked them, was the greatest initiatory experience in my life, and now I've passed 60 and it isn't that long ago I was taking small dose of dried mushrooms. That's a crime I have always done with a good conscience.

When I started microdosing mushrooms, I was unsure what to expect. All I knew is that my quality of life with bipolar depression was not great. Medications stopped working and I was in a tailspin. So I tried dosing the psilocybin at 4 mg 1-3 times a week. I experienced no hallucinations or altered mental status at those dosages. But the effects were amazing. My depression has lifted. Any sadness I feel is effectively dealt with through prayer and meditation. Before microdosing, my days were spent anxious, depressed, angry at the past, blaming my family for my misery, wondering if I’d ever be able to live a meaningful life. Being bipolar meant crazy, shifting moods from one day to the next. It’s been 3 months now since I started and I microdose 1-2 times a week. Sometimes less. I have, for once in my life, a steady feeling of peace. My boyfriend says he notices a profound change in me. I’m happy but not manic. Just peaceful, optimistic, and glad to be alive.
    That’s been my experience.

I also realized that I quite literally didn’t even like drinking, and that I was just trying to avoid the anxiety and shame that comes with quitting alcohol short term.

I don't think the concept of ownership even exists in that realm.. it's an amazing life altering experience.. it will help you understand yourself better, and also confuse you.. but the more you "visit" the more you understand.. I think it kinda tunes you, think.. like a tuning fork, to the universes frequency and you get to experience life thru the "universal lens", as ONE🤯... bc it's already inside of us.. encoded in our 🧬, you just gotta find the key and the door.. DMT is most def a key to the universe, and we are the door..

But he tells me dad "mushrooms are forever".... And I don't know if what Paul says is accurate but I could tell you 100%, my son has become nicer, more loving and respectful person ... Can say the negative experience drastically changed my life. I’ve suffered from panic disorder for 17 years. I’m in remission, as I’m now almost a year panic free. Diet, exercise, and cognitive behavioral therapy has absolutely changed things for me. I used to get panic attacks from energy drinks, and weed. Now I can smoke with no problem, and occasionally have an energy drink. I know they’re not good. But I want to try micro dosing psychedelic mushrooms. Maybe even trip, but that might be too much for me. I’m afraid of having a negative experience again and ruining all the hard work I did.

I recommend smoking weed, a mellow relaxing kind that works for you, beforehand. If you're already happy and relaxed you will have a happy trip. You can't go in angry or nervous. I also recommend a sober buddy (for any psychedelic or subatance you've never done before) that can watch you, help you with anything. Also, comfy clothes, good smelling anything, nice music. Get a test kit so you know exactly what you have. Some kits tell you how much per dose. It's best to have a test kit with ecstacy because that can be dangerous if you take too much, it's also a "go in happy" substance. If someone does take too much put them in a cold shower until the ambulance gets there. You can tell bc they will try to fall asleep. Shrooms you want to make sure it does have any mold whatsoever, because that can make you sick and have a bad trip. If it gets bad, eat something salty/starchy. What's cool about shrooms is you can go in sad/upset and it will fix all that. It helps let things out and comfort you. Hope this helps.
Ps if you ever go out in the woods or by a body of water it must be in the day and with more then one sober person. Like 2 sober people to one inebriated. You're less likely to get lost or get in an accident. ✌

I've had a number of life alerting trips, 1 life changing and therapeutic trip, and one reality shattering trip.
The life altering trip was due directly to my penchant for thievery at 16. I'd stolen 5 grams of scoobs from my mother, ate them with a friend, and had a good time till I had to go home. My brother found they were missing and gave me a lecture that changed my life. It made me a more honest, less kleptic and all around better person.
The reality shattering trip was due to me being 15, coming into a copious amount of liberty caps as it were. I had a older friend group so I called them all to sell some. I ended up eating roughly 14-16 grams. After everyone left I spent the next 8 hours alone and out of my head while being too far in my head. My brothers came home later and I give thanks to Beau for talking to me for a few minutes. He very well could have saved my mind.
    Lsd is better though.

Me being a kid trying to be like the Tech students around me, I assume they had all said "TWO", I said too as well. What I didn't know at the time is that they were window panes. Me and my best friend got to the point to where we had to take between 15 and 25 tabs just to get off good. I hadn't done it in years, and dropped seven tabs going into a Smashing Pumpkins concert 3 years ago. I still miss candy flipping though. You ever done that? Take five tabs of LSD and five hits of X. Look into a guided tour with either MDMA or Mushrooms. Mushrooms can help us see our connection to everything. MDMA can help us find love, true love within ourselves, it also helps us forgive ourselves with empathy and compassion. This leads to us having a greater capacity for this with others as well. Also great work has been done with people with ptsd with micro-dosing mushrooms. A dose that is 10% of normal. So low you dont feel it at all. It still helped the patient rebuild new neuro-pathways around traumatic memories, more so than a normal dose or a large dose. The only bad trip I've had was because it was a very large dose and it broke me down and obliterated my ego, which I wanted but was scared to let go, to submit to the experience. It was also the most healing, and helpful experiences I've ever had. I hope you receive all the healing you need.

Not eating or drinking for a few hours before is a good way to prevent feeling sick (but stay hydrayed). I think 100-125ug is a perfect starter dose and get some fruits like pineapple in. They taste amazing. Don't just stay in a room if you can. Walking around nature and generally keeping yourself experiencing something (like music or a film) can keep you from any averse physical affects (which there aren't many of with lsd from my experience). I'd stay in a room talking to a friend for the come up though. You sound very responsible with it and that's the key. Also sounds like you had a high dose that you may not have been ready for.
