Good message bro...some of us are struggling to establish a decent life somewhere else with minimum support.... I hope one day to have a decent career in some developed country where my skills and dreams are valued.
Counterpoint, pay it forward. When I first heard the tale of my dad who survived in a rundown shack with a few acquaintances barely surviving with zero English managing to later getting a decent house and raising kids, I felt an extreme amount of guilt. Towards him and not truly feeling grateful for the deeds he has done for me. For the lack of effort I have put forward. I remember telling him about how I felt and he sat me down and said "Son, I don't expect you to pay me back. Maybe you can make my life a bit easier when I retire but succeed. Whatever you do in life, strive to become the best." Those words struck me profoundly as I realised that trying solely to pay him back would lead me down a rabbit hole of despair. Now I might be one of the rare few who share this sentiment that the best thing for my dad is succeed so that I may start and nurture my own family and children as he has but I think it's one worth talking about.
