Have you ever made a little girl’s romper before? I’ve followed others’ tutorials and mine turned out ok, but I love your detailed step by step instructions which makes sewing so much easier!
I have done that once or twice. Might be fun to do a video on that. Thanks!
MADE Everyday I would so appreciate if you did! Thank you! ❤️

@@MADEEveryday they are fab. I made a Mario one for my son. Going to make one for my daughter with seahorses, crabs etc on it ❤️ thank you. Made a few if your items. Love your tutorials 👍
@@TraceysHomeFragranceRooms Oh those sound adorable! They're going to love them :)
Hey Dana!! Since my 12th birthday, i have really gotten into sewing. I already made your bon bon pets, fleece throw blanket, and this wonderful towel. I made mine with an avocado print fabric, which I thought was super cute! Thank you so much for putting out fun and easy to follow content. Love your videos!!
Oh how cute! Avocado fabric sounds perfect! I'm so glad you're having fun sewing! Keep going! Dana
Oh my god I am making that towel! It's GORGEOUS!!! Also any chance you could show us how to make that safety pin box you have there?
Thanks Colette! YES! That little bin with the safety pins is one of my Hold it Bins. I have a video that shows how to make a larger version of it, and then I have a pattern with all the sizes included (this is the smallest one. I love it so much and use them in many of my drawers). Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/QYOAJa4aZvE/видео.html
and here's the patter on my site: shop.madeeveryday.com/products/hold-it-bin
@@MADEEveryday oh thank you so much for that! That's my next two sewing projects sorted 🥰
I love your videos! I wish you would post more frequently though!
This is lovely.!! Can I ask what type of fabric is the coloured print.? Thank you 😊☀️
Thanks! The top layer is just a quilting cotton. It's by Cotton + Steel. I got it on Amazon, but it looks like they're sold out: amzn.to/318qZjV
Maybe try Hawthorne supply company
I’m totally making this too bad I live in New York and the beaches and pools are closing soon to be fall but making this in the summer
I know! I meant to get this out earlier in the summer. But you know. Life :) haha. Have fun sewing! Dana
I understand. I have a question if all possible can you make a bigger kid shorts pattern?
Hi Dana. I love all the videos for your channel ,they are all nice and easy to follow. By the way can you make a video telling how to make a tomato pin cushion out of felt.😀
do you wash this quilters cotton before use? I think it might itch
I actually did not wash the cotton or the terry cloth… So mine will shrink up together when I wash it the first time. But you could pre-wash them. Either way is fine for this project!
@@MADEEveryday thanks so much. I really enjoy your videos
Dana, love your dress! Was it from a pattern you can share the info on?
Thanks Bianca! It's from Target actually...but I've been meaning to make a pattern for something similar. Maybe one day! Have fun sewing! Dana
Thanks Dana! It’s a great color. Love the towel video. Thanks for such great ideas!
I love this!!! I'm going to make one to put on my pooch's old dog bed to make it prettier. I love that trim, but can it go in the machine to wash? Looks like maybe it's delicate. How do you wash the towel you made??
You can put pom pom trim in the washing machine...but if you're worried about them coming off, you could put it inside of a pillowcase? or some sort of washing bag? I haven't washed this towel with the jumbo pom poms yet, but I feel hopeful because there are attached well. When I washed the smaller size pom poms some did fall out, but they were not attached very well. So you'll just have to experiment. My kids still use the one that's missing a few poms though! And love it! :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am a new sewer and have taught me how to make burp cloths, draw string bags, zippered pouches and they are wonderful gifts! Question please: Once in awhile when sewing the two vertical lines on the burp cloths to sew in thirds, the top fabric gets a small bunch as I approach the bottom edge. Do you how I can prevent this from happening? Thanks a bunch! Pun intended :)
Hi there, yes, I know what you mean. I've had that happen before, from the layers shifting slightly. What helps is to make sure the layers are pinned together (if you've ever made a quilt, this is similar, so that the layers stay together well). Use two hands as you sew to sort of "push" the fabric through...well, you don't need to push it, but just help guide it through so the bottom layer is not dragging behind. If you have a Walking Foot you can use that! But it's not necessary. Hope that helps! dana
@@MADEEveryday Thank you Dana, that makes sense and I really appreciate your advice! I look forward to learning more from your fabulous tutorials. Take care.
I loved to see your video.. can you show me the way you set your studio? By the way I am eve from Indonesia, nice to see you in youtube. Thanks
What is the size of pom poms so I can order those bigger ones,I love it
The larger trim is 2 inch size pom pom trim. I’m 99% sure this is the one I bought at Joann Fabrics: www.joann.com/simplicity-jumbo-cotton-pom-pom-trim-2-white/16502486.html#q=Pom%2Bpom%2Btrim&start=1
Your videos are very helpful And👌 your look is sweet 😍
And your explanation is detailed and easy thanks for your efforts👏👏👏

We’ve got loads of jersey type fabrics lying around. Would that work instead of the cotton too or do you recommend cotton?
Sure give it a try! That sounds cozy and soft. Just try not to stretch the knit fabric as you sew. Cute idea! Dana
I don't know if you have a video on this but I would love to see a how to make a jacket from scaling to sewing
Do you have a tutorial for that cute fabric basket that holds your safety pins? Its the nicest looking one ive ever seen!
Nvm i found it, I knew I should have looked first lol
@@lizziedae91 Haha. No worries! There's a video and a pattern. Here you go (in case anyone else is interested):

Hi Dana :)
I love all your tutorials and how you explain everything so clearly thank you for sharing them :)
love this, a great idea :)
I just wondered you mention two baby lock sewing machines, but which one is the one you use all the time and which is your favourite...Lyric or Brilliant sewing machine? and why :)
keep up the great work :)
stay safe and well :)
magz :)
Hi Maggie, thanks! You are so sweet. Yes. I love my Baby Lock machines. The Brilliant is almost identical to the Lyric, but I probably like the Brilliant a little better? And then I also love the JOY machine for a good entry level machine. It's priced really great and works really well. Hi dear madam my I know rotary cutter is good or not and also please let me know for where can I buy
Yes, you can use a rotary cutter. I prefer to use scissors instead. You can buy a rotary cutter and ruler and cutting mat at the fabric store or online. I buy them on Amazon.
Hi, what kind of baby lock sewing machine do you have?
Hi Bre, In this video I'm using a Baby Lock machine, from their Genuine Series. These are entry level machines that have a broad price range, so if you're not sure how deep you want to go on sewing haha, these are awesome. I have the Brilliant and Joy machines from this series. These are what I sew with in all of my videos. You can purchase and read some reviews on this site: shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=596711&u=2133956&m=53072&urllink=www%2Esewingmachinesplus%2Ecom%2Fbabylock%2Dsewing%2Dmachines%2Ephp%23%2F%3FCategory0%3DSewing%2BMachines%26Category1%3DBrands%26Category2%3DBaby%2BLock%2BSewing%2BMachines%26Googleproducttype%3DSewing%2BMachines%26Availability%3DIn%2DStock%2BReady%2Bto%2BShip%26search%5Freturn%3Dall&afftrack=
