Nice video Chris. Been using C1 since I got into photography a few years ago and I really like it. They keep adding new features to make it more useful. Look forward to more tutorials.

Chris, Thanks for this I've been looking forward to your Capture One 23 tutorials since you mentioned it a few months ago and bought it in anticipation. It was worth the wait; great video (nice to meet the Editor ;). I look forward the the rest of the series.

Thanks for the demo. That is pretty sweet that you can add a style to a brush, and only apply it to select parts of an image.

It was hard for me to switch from LR to Cap1 - took a few tries. But I have now figured out how to manage the library, making the functionality MUCH better. Looking forward to many more of your videos on Cap1!

So powerful & well explained, many thanks. That’s why i rely on full C1 version on the go, with a M2 MBAir (iPad version is a waste of time). Editing my sessions on the go, then importing them in my main catalog at home. Voilà.

I switched to DXO Photolab 6 because in France and I imagine everywhere in the world C1 is now in monthly subscription like Lightroom. I think it's a bad policy because even if it may seem interesting for professionals it is much less so for most of us… Sorry for my English 😄

Thanks for the video Chris. Style brushes are my favorites too.
About converting B&W styles to style brushes, the problem is those styles contain adjustments that can only be applied to the entire picture (Black and White conversion, cropping, perspective, etc). Those adjustments can't be applied selectively using a brush. Consequently, you can't have/make a style brush for those.
Quick tip: ¿how do you know if a tool can be applied selectively? Click on any layer you have created and watch the name of the tool. If it has a brush icon at its side, then that tool can be applied selectively, i.e. using a brush (so, that tool can be part of a style brush).

I switched to C1 because Lightroom is terrible with Fuji Raw files. But Lightroom has had brush edge detection for many years. Please C1 add more of this type of feature.

I really like Capture One and got it when I got my X-T5. Un fortunately I do not use Ipads or Macs so no Android, no Bruce. I need to move to Lightroom because I use a Samsung tablet and phone and Windows. Oh well. Great video. Thanks.

Hello Chris, Is it possible to do a review of the ON1 Raw editing software and how it reads Fuji files. I am a long term Fuji user. Many thanks. Love your work!

I'm only a hobbyist, but had some spare cash for Capture One Pro and can't overstate how much more enjoyable it has made post-photo'ing editing. It's been a real 'quality of life' purchase.
Previously I was trying to use a combo of: 1) Fuji X Raw Studio (which was slow and required me to connect camera and change the connection setting each time, simply to access film simulations); 2) Affinity Photo (which is great value but just a bit too complicated and more aimed at extensive detail touch-ups); and 3) Fast Stone (a lovely, smooth and 'lite' free photo-culling software but without some amazingly useful Capture One extras such as the instant face focus checks).
I think it's a good example of where a bit of spending, if you have the money, really saves time later. Having made investments like this, it also motivates you to get out and take more photos.

When using Airdrop to transfer, do all the iPad CO image adjustments made during tethering also transfer - or just the file? Thx

I know this is an example of brush use; but can’t you just change the saturation/hue for red of the entire photo as that’s the only red in the photo?
