Last season the signs were already there...battered by liverpool 7-0, 10sec goal in the fa cup final... casemiro saving us vs Chelsea away & in the league cup final when Newcastle were all over us.
Then we gave up a decent posn at Sevilla & collapsed. We only got past Barca with a lucky swing of Anthony's foot....we had massive massive luck last season.
The signs were already there...liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Villa all had a bad year & we had all the luck in that everything Rashford hit went in...but his selfishness & our luck has run out.
It doesnt matter about injuries....ETH has had 18months & yet any team he puts out doesnt cross, continues to be wide open...always invites pressure on our back line...never serves the striker...wont sub Rashford/Bruno or underperforming players to adjust to the game conditions.

VAR in its current state Has been proven to be 'Not Fit for purpose'. The pitch side cameras run a frame rate that is too low to produce sharp enough images for the people in the studio to be 100% sure its off side when it is so close is this one was. the research found that the ball was kicked 132 milliseconds earlier than the participants perceived, which doesn’t sound like much, but in a fast-paced game it could be long enough for the players to be in a different location and therefore could potentially change the outcomes of offside. I am not making it up, its fact and has been subject to many studies by top university's , Bath being the latest. The decisions you see, week in, week out where it is off side by what me and you would call a Toenail or a finger nail in fact cant be called off side because there is enough deficiency in the technology and images to make those decisions impossible to make yet here we are having to stomach them and take their fucking shit each week.

Liverpool got back on track with good win today also. And if they win the Derby against Everton on Wednesday, and Arsenal win their game on Tuesday, it heats up the pressure on City again. Still though, I expect City to come through it even if both Arsenal and Liverpool won their remaining games. But it still makes it interesting the fact they're battling with two teams this late I the season, rather than just the one. Be amazing if they all finish on 89 points though and it's decided on goal difference and possible playoff etc 😂
