Those players are clearly not playing as a team. You can’t tell me they’re giving everything; it’s individuals playing off the cuff - I honestly think they’re just ignoring the manager. It doesn’t reflect well on him nor them… the club has got themselves in such a muddle and those players should be confronted about going through the motions. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a blatant and prolonged example of a team not playing for the manager, sauntering around like that. It’s been like that the entire season. They were even saved by a hairpin of an Offside. If that wasn’t an Offside then they could have been out. It was an unacceptable performance. Really! It was supposed to be to be a very easy match. It’s Coventry! United were lucky they drew Coventry. It could have been Man City. They were in control of 70 mins. And collapsed after that. That hairpin of an offside gave them a chance. And watching that got me teary eyed. Is this how much United have fallen. This team don’t deserve to be in the finals. Why is there no discussion about the blatant handball by Grealish in the same competition 24 hours earlier not given as a penalty, and the-ball-to hand incident given as a penalty against United?
