Amazing card- I learned new ideas with heat embossing. Love the tips and tricks. I didn’t know your can use rubber red back stamps with the stamp wheel
Thank you! I use red rubber stamps a lot in the Stampwheel. You just want to make sure and line up the bottom two grooves and then sort of tip your plate down. Hopefully that makes sense. 🙂
I love that you remind us to take our time when using the heat gun… it’s a good reminder because I rush it sometimes. I am definitely going to try the embossing ink with a foam dauber… great tip. Fantastic video… lots of great tips and learning opportunities.
Hiya Charlene, do you use the deluxe glue from Tonic in your glue press? I use it and love it and don’t see me using anything else. I a, still debating the glue press, my hands soon cramp up when I am squeezing items. Do you think it would be worth me getting one? Xx
Hi Andi. I have not used the deluxe glue from Tonic. Is it a thin or thick glue? I like to use a thinner glue with the fine detail tip that comes with the press. Right now I use either Connect glue or Hero Arts precision glue the most. If it's a thicker glue I use the standard tip that comes along with the press. I think the Nuvo glue works well with the standard tip. Squeezing wise, you really are not doing much squeezing with the trigger. Much less than you would do with a glue bottle. Very little pressure is needed to get the glue to come out. I know several people I talk to with arthritis have said it is a game-changer for them. I hope that helps!
@@DreamCraftCreate hiya, it is reasonably thick yet I use the extra fine tip with no issues, (I think those are the same tips that c9me with the press, I bought them direct from Tonic) it never clogs and I only use the smallest amount of the product. It I really the best glue I have ever tried. I think I will try and get the press, I need to find a stockist that doesn’t charge more for shipping as they do the item. I am in the UK, it is a shame they didn’t team up and put some on Tonics own site. Xx
@AndiHesk Bumbleberrys and CraftStash carry it online in the UK, but it looks like they are out of stock so you may want to see if they have a waitlist. 🙂
@@DreamCraftCreate thank you, I have never seen it on. Craftstash but will pop on now and add it to my wish list and get notifications if they are doing them.
