I've played all virtual tables, and my fav has been Zaccaria. Zaccaria Pinball has like +100 tables- (with a lot based on their original real-world ones) The customization that Zaccaria offers should be a standard on all other tables
Best pinball game ever, period. And to think that it's still early access after all these years! It's already incredible, so I can't wait to see what great updates they still have in store for us!
@@indiegamenerd you buy what you can afford, that is all. But I think ninety-eight percent of the tables are awesome with the exception of a few, I think that Captain America and ET are the biggest stinkers that I can think of, but mediocre compared to the others.
@@indiegamenerd despite that, Zen studios continues to put out amazing quality tables from across all franchises, Id love to play zen originals and Kung Fu panda, and I believe there's nobody else that does it better, not being able to transfer your tables is a slap to the face though.
it looks like trash compared to pro pinball ultra, zaccaria and wicked. Pinball FX 3 has that stupid motion trail blur effect following that ball that just looks goofy and distracting. The graphics are mostly blurry and none of the physics seem even remotely realistic. It's a joke.
best pinball games or simulator are for me : pro pinball timeshock (expensive for one table , but the table is excellent) , demon's tilt (very fun and addictive table)(and maybe xenotilt) , Pinball FX/2/3/M (best pinball games for me) , Visual pinball with many games free (best simulator and emulator for me) , future pinball with many games free (very nice simulator) , Pinball arcade and stern pinball arcade (nice tables , but not my favorites) . TOP 1 : Visual Pinball . TOP 2 : Pinball FX/2/3/M. Top 3 exaquo : Pro pinball Timeshock & demon's Tilt.
- Pinball Arcade is absolutely unplayable. I tried it again recently, and compared to the ultra-realistic Zaccaria, PA has the least realistic ball physics (too fast, no ball weight, etc) I've ever seen in a pinball game. - As for Visual Pinball, it's extremely overrated. It favors quantity over quality. Zaccaria + FX offer already plenty of old tables, and they look/feel way better than in VP, and offer so many more options. I prefer to wait for more tables in those two games, rather than playing VP. - Timeshock and Demon's Tilt are very enjoyable unique pinball games, with their own rules. You can add now Xenotilt - Hostile Pinball Action too.

I'm just not feeling VPX, but to each his own! Zaccaria is enough for me, recently. Very very impressed by that incredible software.
With Zaccaria Pinball and Pinball FX, you have everything you can dream of. (200+ tables overall, both imaginary/modern, and old/realistic.) Everybody always mention that Visual Pinball X thing, but frankly, it's a chore to setup, and it's better for people who want to build actual cabinets. People who just want to have fun on a PC/console will prefer the ones I mentioned. I'm a busy adult and I really don't have time to meddle with the stupidly time-consuming process to install tables in Visual Pinball, which also get lots of crashes and bugs. Besides, not a lot of people seem to realize that MANY of the best tables which are available for Visual Pinball are also available for Pinball FX and/or Zaccaria Pinball. Finally, both still get updates every year, and they constantly get better. What else could you want? Unless you want a VERY specific table, Zaccaria and FX are everything you need. (Speaking of which, that video is now a bit outdated, since FX has replaced FX3.)
Space Cadet was intended to be a demo, packaged as a part of Windows. The actual game is "Full Tilt! Pinball" from Cinematronics. Microsoft did a very good job making sure that was not evident, in true Microsoft fashion 😉
I don't the see Slam Tilt in these video. game that was built 1996 looks better then some newer pinball games here in the video. Also Slam Tilt Resurrection from 1999 looks almost same as pro Pinball Ultra from 2016, super realistic. Looks like you only focused on newer games instead of looking to old games too. So it is not from all time, but only games after 2015 or something. most new games look ugly, because they used lazy graphic techniques instead of smart graphic techniques.
I’ve played pro pinball ultra when I have almost 12 years old and now I have 31 🫠, my father buy it and I played this game in windows XP, I think the game was called pro pinball timeshock.

I loved Adventure Pinball: The Forgotten Island, Pro Pinball : Fantastic Journey and Simon the Sorcerer pinball.
Pinball FX 3 is where it's at, the amount of detail and unique stuff to shoot and challenges to play around with is outstanding!

I have fx 3 and Zaccaria Pinball, really Visual pinball is very difficult to configure but in terms of simulation VPX is the best.

Nice. Apart from FX3, which ones have a cabinet mode or can be played in portrait mode ?
Demon's Tilt and Xenotilt both support portrait mode with an additional 180 degree flip option which was a real lifesaver on my display.
