Points are much easier to get, and propably whole game is much easier (this explains why FullTilt is for speed run, no points)
If I remember correctly, the middle is the overall multiplier of everything on the board. The ramp to the left assigns “missions” to be completed for extra score. Most of the bumpers and targets are just flat scoring.
Imagine trying to decipher the software code. Rumor has it the source code was very light on comments and that’s why Microsoft ditched it in windows vista or 7.

When i used to play this game,i had this glitch where the ball was stuck on the top bumper and it kept hitting the bumper, racked a super high score. Shame back then didn't had internet.
When I was young I also played pinball a lot and one day I became fleet admiral and was very proud. But I didn't know it was possible to rise a rank with a single mission and it probably took me more than an hour. I also wasn't quite as skilled as you, I already felt very elite understanding what the game was about and not just keeping the ball in the game hahaha
I had so much fun playing this and the Castle Dragon version. I almost feel like I ended up breaking the game or glitching it. I spammed multi-ball and extra lives so much that I felt like I had infinite lives. I ended up keeping the computer on for about a week and had hundreds of million worth of score lol. I ended up just ending the game at some point because I couldn't run out of lives.
Oh, so there was a bug when you finish a chapter ending mission and tilt the machine at the same time that skips an entire chapter. Wish I knew it 20 years ago.
There are other triggers. 3D Pinball doesn't give a free ball save when you clear a mission; I'm willing to bet the dev team behind this thought of using that as a way to "fix" the issue in Full Tilt. The other way is to start a mission quickly enough before the lights stop flashing, but it's very difficult to do without multiball.
Super nice, i was playing it for fun and trying to put the ball where was the flash, i clearly remember that i died when it was asking me enter the black hole, damn ! I was understamding nothing btw
I probably got some record too in my life when i was really young. I was so addicted to this game too bcz this one was the only game working on my grandmother PC. I could play 16-18 hours in a row whit everyone angry at me. My best score was 182 milions in a 18 hours run. I could get more, but certain days my parents was going crazy. I luckly got out by the addiction next 1 or 2 years.
I thought the release version of this table had a different song. I mean, yeah, the one that came with Windows had a cut-down and scaled-back version of this song, but still. Anyway, well done! I'd love to see you play some _Epic Pinball,_ though. Like… _Enigma._

What's the orange centre what works like gravity and pulls your ball towards it? Never knew there was this much to this game. Kudos for the knowledge and score.
Truth be told, it's an issue on 3D Pinball as well, especially if you drain right after ranking up. The Replay Ball was added as a reward after completing a mission, but they never accounted for tilting or starting another mission immediately after. The latter is near impossible to pull off with 1 ball in play, but multiball is another story.

3:14 is the most valuable lesson for me. I've never imagined getting ball from Hyperspace Chute to the outlane is so easy.
Because it doesnt happen in the space cadet version. There it goes from the hyperspace to the engine on the left side.

My high score was 64 000 000 . Only once. Tons of extra balls along the way.
What's going on there with the missions? I thought you just need to keep the ball up for as long as possible.

I never got this far on missions I think the most I completed was like 6. This pinball game had a lot to offer as an included game for Windows LOL.
Pinball games nowadays go DEEP in rules. Lord of the Rings in 2003 pushes much more than what this has to offer, from 1995.
