Led zeppelin had a hand in creating hip hop from the beats of the drummer the legend John bonham great to see new fans getting to know L Z down the rabbit hole great reaction bud
In HS I became friends w/these 2 stoner guys who I helped with algebra. Nicest guys, but kinda messed up home lives. They decided I was cool enough to let into their secret garage attic space where they escaped from life. They introduced me to Led Zeppelin. In the 80’s in a small town you could be friends w/everybody. We all need variety in our lives. I always think about Robbie & Jeff when I listen to Zeppelin.
They are deeply rooted to deep south rhythm and blues and you can hear. They are considered a worldly band because they sample every type of music from Africa to India. They are the best Rock n roll of all time.
Led Zeppelin takes you thru all kinds of music journeys!! Blues , rock ,folk , a bit of country feel, and some psychedelic, sometimes all mixed together! You go from You Shook Me to Going to California to Achilles Last Stand to Ten Years Gone are a few songs that give their range of musical styles!!✌️
Led Zeppelin is great! I highly recommend listening and reacting to Black Sabbath as well. I'm sure most here would agree. Have a good one! Enjoy your journey
Many great British bands from the 1960s like Zeppelin, The Who, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd etc were fans of American old school, black blues. The influence of these imported records can be heard on how these bands eventually built on this and developed their own creativeness from it's roots.
I'm feeling old right now. I'm glad my mom let me and my siblings listen to FM radio back then and never said this song or that song was off limits. Led Z. was turned up loud too ! I would still be thanking her for that freedom of music choice today if she was still around.
Bro, this is simply the best band EVER! Best vocalist, one of the best guitarist, one of the best drummers... EVER! Legendary shit! They just amazingly talented.
There are a few Zeppelin songs that numerous people will push, but they all seem to forget Nobody's Fault but Mine and Achilles Last Stand from the Presence album. Achilles was the first track of the album and Nobody's Fault was the first track of side B. Incredible!
Nobody’s fault but mine is absolutely their most underrated song. Plant’s harmonica solo still gives me goosebumps and Bonham puts serious stank and the drums! Bring it on home is another underrated one!
Lol, I just watched 2x. Love this song so much and the video is so damn fun to watch. Whoever cut it together did a great job! I got to see them 2x in on week, 1977. My Led Zeppelin claim to fame. They are so much fun to watch perform. They go from haunting to mesmerizing to mind blowing.
You are the only reactor to laugh at two very sexy lines in this song because you were paying attention! I love that! And yes, Robert Plant has voice like no other.
Growing up during the blues/rock fusion period we were blessed to have had this music ti listen to & see live. I'ts a long journey starting with a love for the blues & rock.
You made my day bro!! Glad you enjoyed this song. You have to definately react to more LZ. This will be a great rabbit hole to go down. Try When The Levee breaks, The Lemon Song, Dazed and Confused, Ten Years Gone.

It's so cool that you are experiencing the sounds of Led Zeppelin, and the many amazing hits they created. They are, indeed, the best band of all time and they shocked the world when they hit the scene... a perfectly talented band.
enjoyin your reactions Abra....... Finding Led Zep better late than never...!!! They were such a unique, influential 70's band....! No one like em..... ever! Keep em comin...!
The rabbit hole that is Led Zeppelin! Enjoy your journey! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 look up the 1973 Madison Square Garden concert...they are even better live. That concert was the concert of all concerts! It will blow your mind! ✌️
If you love Zeppelin then a progression from that with a true crossover is Deep Purple. Great to see someone who appreciates good music, this was my favorite tune back in the day.
OMG, I love your reactions to this one! lol I’ve been in love with those guys (especially Robert) since jr. high back in the mid 70’s and it’s so freaking cool to see a new fan! Enjoy!
Abracadabra 303 he really does. You hit the nail on the head-Robert had no prob getting the ladies. I was lucky enough to see them twice in May 1977 on their last US tour before Bonham died. As I tell the young’un’s, I might be old, but I got to see Led Zeppelin!
Good reaction! I LOVE Hip Hop but also grew up on Led Zeppelin. Rick Rubin introduced the Beastie Boys to Zeppelin and you can hear Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks" beat on Beastie Boy's "Rhymin' and Stealin'." Also, you can here references to Jimmy Page on Licensed to Ill as well as a sample of Led Zeppelin's "The Ocean" on "She's Crafty" by the Beasties on the same album. Of course, Led Zeppelin owes a huge chunk of their career to old Afro-American blues musicians they heard from the U.S. Keep up the good work, sir.
Glad you liked the song! Robert Plant had one of the most distinct voices in rock. You want "rabbit hole"? Start with the first song off their first album and go on from there - you will get it ALL.
Their first album is titled Led Zeppelin I and the first song is Good Times Bad Times. RUclips often blocks Zeppelin songs so you might have to post a link to a different platform in order to get your video up. But seriously, I guarantee you will want to listen to them all.
Thank you so much for listening to the studio version 1st, rather than their live versions. You need to experience them in the studio before you can appreciate their live stuff.
Back door man back in the day was the lover who slipped out the back door when the husband came through the front. "Honey I'm home" as he hears the kitchen door click shut.

I love me some hip hop beats and Led Zep too. I had no idea how complicated the drums were until I heard the isolated John Bonham track - little bass drum notes, the swing etc. Of course "When The Levee Breaks" has now been canonised, but why not have a look at "Out On The Tiles", "Trampled Underfoot" and "No Quarter".
Keep rocking to Zeppelin we're all loving it.. you need to get their first album.. try Babe I'm going to leave you or In My Time of Dying... You're going to love it...
Abra, next Led Zeppelin song should be “Since I’ve been loving you”. It really highlights their blues influences and how they fuse it with the heavy rock sound Zep is known for. “In my time of dying” is another.
Of course my older family members called my music, noise. I know this is showing my age, but... auto tune, record scratching and synthesized beats out of a box just don't compare to real voices and real instruments. Love your reaction, you really rock
I love your reaction to them, the sheer joy you experience ❤ I grew up with Zeppelin and Sabbath due to having 5 brothers and no sisters .. no Donny Osmond's or David Cassidy for me. I have everything they've ever done on my playlist 😍😘
You need to watch and listen to "Whole Lotta Love" Live. It will blow your mind. It's from "The Song Remains the Same" concert movie, it's their closing song. And it's around 20 minutes long.👍
That was the studio version with a montage of live shots thrown on top. You should try the live version from the 1973 concert at Madison Square Garden. They very often added improvised stuff to their live versions of their songs and they did so with the Live version of this one. Any song from that concert represents them very well. They take it too a whole nother level live. Most of Zeppelins songs trend more towards the Whole Lotta Love type style than Stairway. But you will find that Zeppelin is very diverse. But at the heart of the matter they are a blues band morphed into rock. They and Black Sabbath are given credit with inventing heavy metal. but Zeppelin is way more diverse than just that. They are extremely sexual even more so live. A general rule is if you think they are talking about sex. They are. They get that from their blues influence. By the way a "Back Door Man" is a man that is seeing your woman on the side without you knowing it. not the other thing. LOL. However, in the song "Blackdog" Plant the singer says "the way you walk that way watch your honey drip can't keep away." That is talking about what you think. LOL. And I won't even get into "The Lemon Song."
Led zeppelin is the definition of rock and roll best band ever on the planet
"His voice is f'n amazing" said every die-hard Zep fan. All the time.
