    My mom told me it was mockingbirds that could make all those different chirps when I asked her. We have them here as well.

    Nice. I'm getting about the same number of small birds this year but I'm visited by a pair of osprey everyday. The town on the other side of the river set up a bunch of nesting platforms for them and it worked. Is DS graduating this year? Good Luck, Rick

      Yes she is! She'll be starting college soon. The time flies by.

      @@icebearhikes And the older you get, the faster time flies. Tell her congratulations for me.
      I hope that she is pursuing something useful. I see too many kids go to college, run up huge debt, and then can't make enough in their field to even pay the loans. There are some fields where kids can get a paid internship that also helps pay for college. My son was able to get a bunch of partial scholarships.
      Community colleges usually are a good deal for the first two years. Good Luck, Rick
