Great video. I have one of these lasers as well. I added the air pump and the longer runners as well as a honeycomb for cutting. Believe me when I tell you that you really need a honeycomb to put under your products when you are cutting. You will cut your post work by 75-80% if you do. The cuts are just a lot cleaner and no smudging on the backside to clean up. :)
Thank you, I did forgot to mention that, I have a small USB fan clipped to the front of the Laser frame that blows most of the smoke out of a near by window, I could do with a slightly larger one though. No dust produced👍
Hi Bernie thank you. It's ok, it certainly stops the bed getting burned but it collects all the heated glue from cutting the ply so its really a temporary fix. I think I'll probably leave it under the honeycomb when I get one then I can easily remove it and give it a wash (once a year).
I have the Ortur 10w arriving today. I hope to see more videos with another woodworker utilizing the diode laser into the tasks at hand.
