I just found out a friend of mine ordered me the Retro Classic Marvel Legends 🕷🕸Spider-Man🕸🕷 🐊🐊Lizard🐊🐊 figure and I am so pumped! I missed out on the Mysterio figure as well as the Vulture and Electro retro figures too. SUCKS! Our stores have HORRIBLE DISTRIBUTION. Our shelves have sat empty all year! The X-Men and Spider-Man wave were never seen.

Awesome review, man. This is the definitive look for Iron Man and I'm extremely happy to see that he finally came with a proton canon.
Looks pretty good if pricey. Personally I prefer the Metallic gold and red Modular armour. Hopefully like Xcorpeo says they might do a single release of the canon and effects in metallic colour palette. It'd pair well with Doom, A.I.M. figs etc.

The Alex Ross Tony portrait on this body is very evocative of the first season of the cartoon!
That proton cannon is crazy! I am getting 2 so I can get both versions displayed simultaneously. This also makes the retro War Machine figure more tempting, since its colors match this figure better.
I didn't get the retro WM though 😅 I like the silver-grey-white on the original deluxe

If you have the metalic 90s Iron Man, just get both War Machines. MvC War Machine looks like he pairs up better with that one, anyway.

Ok needed this review to make up my mind. I’m gonna stay with my red and gold one. As much as I like the photon cannon, I don’t like the plain red and yellow. It makes the figure look dull and cheap. And yes I know all figures are made of plastic, but this one looks bad. Also $55 for this is a deal breaker. Thanks for the review. 👍

Same here, this review helped make up my mind. I think it's the bright red that kind of kills it for me, more than the yellow. I get that they were going for the animated/marvel vs capcom look but I think they could've done a slightly better job on the paint.They should have stayed with the same metallic red from the modular armor.
The proton Canon looks just like the one in the comic where he fought technovore but I'm so happy seeing my childhood cartoon come to life

I meant the Modular Armor we got in the Ursa Major wave. The colors on it are better imo. Wanna have him posed with the proton cannon. Yeah definitely needs a thicker blast effect. I like your idea of using other Iron Man accessories. 💡

Legends does blues swirls and solid yellow plastic well for armor. Good toyish balance with this one. Great review as always!
Good review dude. In my case Im gonna pass this set, the Ironman looks too skinny for the memories I have of the good old MvC armor and proton cannon hypecombo.

It's a beautiful figure and it's really tempting to have. But I still prefer the metallic look of the previous modular ironman compared to this new one

I really want this, to go along with my retro War Machine but it's £60 in the UK and I don't feel the cannon is worth the price of an entire figure. Hopefully Hasbro release a "standard edition" separately in the future.

So what exactly is the point of having blind box pack packaging when there is a carded figure within? Not really saving on the plastic are we Hasbro? Plus I want to see the paint job BEFORE I buy! Also why include a 70's mullet head instead of the actual 90's goatee head? Cannon is just a pointless cost addition - really want this figure, but Hasbro doing their best to make it offputting.

I really wish they’d just give us painted repulsor hands, if we want to display him without an effect part. And if there was any Iron Man figure that should’ve had that it is this one. He doesn’t even come with effect parts that work for the hands!
Eversince Endgame, I have been playing a scenario in my head wherein Ironman actually defeated Thanos by using the Proton Cannon. Im so getting this.

I've never been more tempted to leave the figure in box than this one. I already have multiples of this figure in gold and that cannon, which is the only reason I got it, is just going into my accessories bin to get lost. Yup, I think i'm keeping this one in the box.
I can't wait until customizers make a huge beam for the cannon.

I love this 90s armor. 2nd favorite to the silver Sphinx armor. Yes I love the 80s classic but it's 3rd place to me.

Wish they would do a line of figures from the Marvel vs Capcom games. I've always wanted a Psylocke that looks exactly like her in those games. 😍😍😍 As for Iron Man, the proton cannon should have had a much larger blast effect.
Pretty sure Psylocke is coming with the Shriek body, in Cel shade VHS box and maybe yellow and blue uniform
@@xcorpeoOk. I still like her better in her classic outfit. I think the MAFEX version is close to the game version but I think it still missed the mark for me.
The animated heads are spot on. My only gripe with this figure is I wish they made the shoulder pads more like the new stormtroopers or the mark 3 mcu iron man because it really does break up the sculp.
Some of these older style Iron-Man figures are really cool looking. The Retro styles of the older Mego Superheroes heyday is great and they look awesome! This one is the same, retro, cool look, and it has some awesome accessories! How much though? Knowing Hasblow, what $150.⁰⁰+ lol?
