I'm now hitting with a customatic Vcore pro 97 310, I add quite the weight to it The racquet original is quite unstable and low SW with a replacement grip, but now I'm struggling with its overweight. I think Blade can solve my problem but concern about which pattern I should get. I know 18*20 has exceptional feel and control but I afraid it wouldn't help me against tough player since I'm not physically strong enough, just can't get a chance to test them both in match. Could you give some opinions?
Gratzz Sen try any nylon strings with lower tension first(40-45) depends on your strings feeling use higher tension. google recommended nylon string and try and find yours is the best way. If you are not sure which ones to use try different cheaper ones It just takes some time to find your fav strings but you will see what you like or not so in the future it will help (maybe?)
Both are great player's racquets that offer plenty of feel and control. The VCore Pro 97 310g will be slightly more maneuverable due to it's head light balance and lighter swingweight. The Blade 98 v7 16x19 has a heavier swingweight, better stability and a slight edge in power. - Chris VB
Did you measure the beam width? I heard it's been increased. 20.6mm was the previous width.
20.6 mm Beam confirmed from Wilson. Though the shape tapers just above the handle for a more comfortable grip for two handed backhands. -Sam
