From a 305 gr Pro staff, i change to 285 blade V8 100L 285gr. The feel, control, power, top spin was amazing I dont need that much time to adapt. Its just clicked with me,just wanna share my opinion Nice review by the way 👍🏻👍🏻
Great job! Thanks for this excellent well balanced review! I have some older versions, 18x20 that I like alot, these new ones certainly got great reviews! I don't like the color at all, but I might have to update one day haha Thanks 🙏 always interesting and informative 👍 appreciate!
Try the E Zone 98 Tour or regular version 2022 if you’re looking for something similar to your Extreme Tour. I really think you’d enjoy them. They’re the only racquets that hit similar to your ET AND can compare to the spin it generates. Most sticks that are in that realm you’re used to with the ET won’t get spin like it creates with those spin grommets. I would say the E Zone line and maybe the new Aero since they tightened up the string bed a bit so the control is better but still gets great spin. They have a 98 Aero coming out next year too in January I believe. Besides those options, there’s a new V Core line coming out in January as well that is spin/control oriented but is in that ET, Blade, Radical, Pure Strike, E Zone, etc. realm. Good luck!!
@@Official.tadiwa I’ve used both as my main racquets, I think I’d know if they’re similar or not lol E zone literally has an aerodynamic beam, which helps with spin. It has power but it’s not some rocket launcher. If you’d watch any of his videos you’d see it’s one of the most common sticks out there, along with the blades and other racquets I named. V Cores are the “spin” line but the E Zone generates a ton as well. Even check out Tennisnerd’s latest video. They go over the E Zone Tour and the regular version and how much spin they get.
@@Mewborne89 they're not similar in anyway shape or form. You're talking about a frame that is completely build my wilson on the basis of control and feel with a frame built by yonex for power. I've played tennis at pro level sir challenger circuit actually and you're wrong completely wrong. Any racket nerd would tell you that. The only frame that comes close to comparison from yonex since I've played tested all either frames is the vcore 97. From balance to weight to beam width blade and ezone dont even belong in the same conversation nor does it belong in the same sentence as the extreme. Vcore just like the extreme has special grommets just to aid in crating spin. Ezone doesn't come close nor create that much spin the spacing of the string bed is way to close unlike the extreme.
@@Official.tadiwa I’m right up there at the same level lol Haven’t played challengers because I stepped away from the game when I was young but still up at the 5.5 -6:0 level to this day. But whatever, you took a simple racquet recommendation and made it all personal. I literally came from this persons same racquet to the e zone in the last few months. I think I’d be a much better resource than you, who has probably never hit with the sticks for more than a day or so each. Watch any true racquet nerds videos on these racquets, they’re ALWAYS in the same realm. Tennisnerd, Gladiator Tennis, Euohoria Tennis, Nikki from Unstrung Customs, All Things Tennis, etc. But hey, you know better than all of us 😆 Got it!
Try and get your hands on the Wilson H22. That's the actual racquet that pros are using not the Blade V8. It's a must more stable mold then the Wilson Blade you buy from pro shops. The Blade is the most used racquet on tour but it is the H22 version and not this one.
I play with thr 18x20 and I demod both, I actually got more movement with the dense pattern. Slice with the 18x20 was amazing as well. The launch angle is lower which forces to remember to always hit heavy. But when you flatten it out 😍
@@MPTennis great thing is you can hit heavier given you launch angle is lower so you can really work that ball it will always drop in. The balls I'd hit with open pattern would just be long/out. I added weight to 3, 9 and 12 and also in the but cap and its a whole different beast
This Blade V8 is MUTED, just as SOFT as V7. Slightly changes. Don't buy a racquet just like its look!! you will get Fool. Btw, when they released V6 was the worst with CounterVail ever made, stupid decision to put this shit on it. They fucked it up. The Best of ALL time is Blade BLX V5 and still their most popular racquet in term of Feel, Pop and very Solid racquet not Soft compare to all the craps they make nowadays. I'm still using V5 forever.
Just borrowed one from my coach and I really like the V8 and the black "nigh session" color way is aweseome.
I loved the slice backhand on this frame, very low and buttery. Of course I'm using Isospeed string which is very unique

@@MPTennis Forsure! 👊
Hi, thanks for the review. Is there any chance to get apparel you wear?
Snhu tennis gear?
Wich strings are you using in this blade ?
Hyper g
@@MPTennis Did you like it ? i'm using alu power with my blade v8 since I bought ! But i listen a lot about hyper g
@@antoniovuono4521 Ya i thought it was solid. You will get more spin with hyper g.
what would be the main differences between this and the babolat pure aero?
way more power and spin for PA compared to Wilson blade.
@@MPTennis thank you!! i like those qualities haha. and are there any more redeeming qualities on the blade? does it just give more control?
@@meganhope313 If you're comparing it to the PA yes, also lower launch angle
@@MPTennis ahh ok. is that because of all the topspin that the pa will give?

They are not similar at all. Ezone isn't for spin its a power frame. Vcore line is spin line.

a racquet I'm very likely switching to! agree with your review. it needs weight to be stable for sure but overall really digging it
I just got one, added a leather grip. Think that alone will help?
