If folks are going to toss out everything that Dr. Lawson taught, they might as well toss out Psalm 51, Psalm 32, and Psalm 23 (many scholars believe this was written in his later years), along with every other Davidic psalm. You are correct; Lawson is no heretic. While we know Brother Lawson was not inspired as was David, the principle in this situation is exactly the same. Truth spoken is still truth regardless of the speaker's place today. Yes, we want those who proclaim the truth to live holy lives, but we also must acknowledge their having been used by God in cases like these.
I talked about the exact same thing in one of my videos. They began a conference this past weekend at The Masters Seminary and didn’t even name Steve Lawson or say that they were praying for everyone affected by this sin. They seem to want to pretend as if he never existed and do damage control more than seeking to restore him to fellowship (not the pastorate, of course). The terrible handling of this situation is unbiblical and troubling. The sin was not named and no details or biblical explanation was given to the congregation for his removal, therefore they cannot act like they conducted Church Discipline. No doubt, NDAs were signed which will keep anyone from giving more details. This is a prime example of how a situation like this should NOT be handled!
Someone commented in this video and I agree 100%, they said, “ it seems like they’re trying to cancel and erase him to protect their brand and not to glorify God…”
Lawson one of my trusted Pastors , has disqualified HIMSELF , Sad to say , but he preached strongly on this , saying he told young pastors they would be reduced to working as bagger at the grocery store if the gave into sexual temptations , now he must live what he preached so hard against.....
This man helped my walk with God and my sermon studies tremendously. I am NOT going to erase him from my memory. I love him and I will keep praying for him and his wife. It hurts me deep within my heart what he did. And I'm sure he regrets it and is very repentant. He was a very genuine, caring person. I will GREATLY miss his teaching and preaching 😢
How do you know that? He came to the elders to confess! The world is watching us and the comments in this thread stink of pride, self righteousness and zero love! @barbarapeterson4000
The doctrine of Christ is adorned by our lives (Titus 2:10). When a preacher’s moral standard is below that than the one Scripture upholds, then he’s no longer supporting the teaching of the Word. You cannot teach to others that it’s wrong to steal and then pocket money from the offering basket. The Lord did say that we should not be careful about teaching because the judgment will be greater. We must not give ammunition to unbelievers. I’m sad for Mr. Lawson. I’m actually grieving. But I hope he will be fully restored to his family, church family, and those who trusted him.
I love Lawson’s teachings…would regularly watch or just listen to the Bible studies from the coffee shop. Should he be deleted? I don’t think so but I’m sure some difficult decisions had to be made by people who know way more details about the situation than we do. Pray for him and everyone involved
Lawson shouldn't be "canceled" in the same way that the woke left cancels people they deem unworthy. No doubt Lawson sinned, he confessed his sin, he has been removed from the pastorate, he is suffering whatever fallout comes from his sins. Let's pray for him if there's more repentance necessary, as well as pray for his family and the woman he had illicit relations with, and any others involved or affected. Pray for him, not cancel him.
What if the "woman" that Lawson had relations with was trans? Would you be so understanding? (And I'm not saying he way, probably wasn't, but folks were so quick to excoriate Alistair Begg and yet Lawson they're giving a free pass to.)
@@barbarapeterson4000 1. First of all, that's unfair and wrong (indeed it's sinful) of you to characterize what I wrote as "giving him a free pass". That's far from what I actually said. 2. Also I personally never "excoriated" Begg. Not sure why think I did. 3. But yes, I'd say the same or similar thing about Lawson if it was a transgendered person, that is, we should be praying for Lawson and all those affected, expecting him to repent, and so on, but not "cancel" him in the manner the woke left cancels people.
@@philtheo Didn't mean to accuse you personally of excoriating Begg. But most of the Lawson/Macarthur camp certainly did. And that includes their parishioners.
A possible approach is to create a new web site and RUclips channel called "Steve Lawson Preaching" and move all sermons to that site. This would allow his messages to still be available without being hosted by sites that do not wish direct association
Romans 3:23 For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Let us keep him and his family lifted up in prayer. The enemy is on the prowl brothers and sisters. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Maybe if he explained what he did, to whom, for how long and then his contributors could decide whether they still wanted to buy his material and donate to his ministries. The Bible explains that teachers should be held at a higher standard and definitely he is not at that standard. (with a little investigating it might be determined that some of the elders and board members were aware of his sin before he ever confessed it)
Sin will take you farther than you want to go, it will keep you longer than you want to stay, and it will cost you more than you want to pay 1 Corinthians 9:27, the Apostle Paul said, "But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified
I have said this exact thing. This is becoming very ridiculous and uncharitable. Every MAN sins. Luther supposedly hated Jews and yet we treat him like a hero. Lawson had an "inappropriate relationship" (which we don't even know what it means), and now he's being scrubbed from history? I am losing respect for the organizations that are doing this to him.
You are the one assuming that he confessed voluntarily. How do you know it wasn’t confess or you will be exposed? It looks like Steven hasn’t repented because the church ⛪️ website states they’re praying for his repentance. Again you’re assuming he has.
Spot on! It is the Word of God that changes hearts of men and Steve Lawson has faithfully preached God’s Word! There are consequences when we disobey Gods law, and Steve will suffer because of his rebellion against God, just as king David reaped the consequences of his sin, but conviction of The Holy Spirit will result in bringing repentance in every true believer! If God was to mark iniquity against us, who would stand? Forgiveness must flow from our hearts towards others who disappoint us and dishonour The Word of God, but we must extend Grace and forgiveness towards others as we have received Grace and forgiveness of our sins from Our Lord! May we exercise wisdom and allow the Truth that has been faithfully proclaimed and taught by Steve Lawson to remain so as to continue to bless many, now and in the future, knowing that we all fail in many ways just like the messenger, but we must not hold back or remove the truth that has been faithfully proclaimed and taught in the hope that God might continue to bless those who have ears to hear the proclamation of His Word🙏.
I truly hope they don’t remove everything of his, but it sure looks that way. I absolutely thought when Zachariz was canceled that was appropriate because what he was doing was horrible! Hopefully 🙏🏼 what ever happened with dr Lawson isn’t any like that. As soon I saw that they started removing his stuff i immediately bought as many of his books as I could get! I will continue to pray for him, he is my brother in Christ.
Here’s my issue: because we don’t know all the information, we can’t say whether the response is proportional to the sin. On the one hand, in a situation like Matt Chandler’s case, the church publicly shamed him and embarrassed his family. No sin was ever admitted, only that he had a lapse in judgment. If that’s all it was, and there was no sin, a pastor and his family should not be publicly shamed, neither should they be put under public church discipline. On the other hand, if there was sin, especially if that sin was adultery, then a 3 month discipline would not have been enough. It’s possible in both Chandler’s case and Lawson’s case, that the punishment didn’t fit the crime.
Let's keep him in our prayers for restoration and for his wife and family. King David sin against God. He committed adultery and murder and still called him "a man after His own heart." We as believers are not to judge but pray for him. He's still a child of God. And still loves him. Let's pray for his restoration and his family. Amen!!!
Same here. I have his original preaching audio at a men's study group that led to both Foundations of Grace books. Its like 60 sermons and have not been available online for years. I listened to it in 2008. It is so rich and goes through the whole Bible and Church history. I'm not aware of any other preacher who has done this.
I have no problem with “erasing” his content, why? Because of the harm he has done to the cause of Christ. “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” What Mr. Lawson has said what he has done “inappropriate relationship” disqualifies him from ministry.
Before judging anyone else, think about the worst thing you've ever done. It's a very sad thing when a pastor falls into sin, it happens a lot. They're in positions of counseling distraught, vulnerable women and it often leads to relationships.
When a pastor in our denomination fell, it was very hard for me to listen to his old teaching anymore. His church had removed everything, but it was still on RUclips. It was such a stumbling block; just not the same.
@@mjsblessings7498 very true, when I heard all the details that came out my perspective changed and I was all for deleting his sermons because I realized it wasn’t the same, I have yet to be able to hear one of his sermons, it’s upsetting and sad
I can see their side of it and why they would want his teaching removed because he has brought incalculable reproach upon the name of Christ. He has given the world reason to mock God and the Gospel. He is now a massive stumbling block to thousands of precious sheep around the world. Matthew 18:7
In that case, let's delete all of the psalms written by David who also fell in adultery. In addition to all of the texts that were written by David in the Old Testament! Just ridiculous!
@@augiedoggie1820 The difference hear is that David repented and according to official statements from the church and other ministries and videos Lawson hasn't repented as of yet. I don't know why he turned himself into his church but from the statements, it wasn't because he repented. David was a king and not a pastor. Pastor's and Bible Teachers are held to a stricter standard(James 3:1-12) than a lay person or even a king. This sin cast a bad light on Lawson's past teaching no matter how Biblical they were. The Church must have felt that Lawson's past teaching were disqualified as well for them to remove his teachings or they just didn't want to be associated with him anymore and regardless of why they did it, it is their choice to remove him and his teaching. Please keep in mind that no one is saying that you can't continue to use Lawsons teachings because that is your choice.
@@augiedoggie1820 The difference here is that David repented and he was a king not a Pastor. Pastors and Teachers within a church are held to a stricter standard(James 3:1-12). I agree with you 💯 It's sad how Aliaster Begg and Lawson are being treated and talked about. What about Paul saying in Corinthians if someone is repented restore them gently, not referring to leadership, but Christian love & fellowship. This is disturbing.
Nobody "cancels" someone better than the Reformed, Calvinist, Presbyterian, or Baptist crowd. David was a murderer and an adulterer. Moses was a murderer and disobedient. Samson visited brothels. But, no redemption possible ever (in the same sense as the aforesaid men from the Bible) from these groups when on THIS side of the cross.
He’s not cancelled in being in Christian tho. We treat preachers as if their entire identity and worth is their preaching. Ministries have the right to say they won’t be highlighting and spotlighting certain people who are more known for their sin than for their repentance at the time being. It doesn’t mean he’s been kicked out of church and shunned by his brothers. I’m more worried about the idolatry of “The Man of God”. We look for examples and compare sins to excuse things
Any wife who has experienced betrayal at the hands of her husband, can relate to the devastation, pain and trauma which follows. Unfortunately, many churches don't follow scripture and keep these men in ministry. I DONT think anyone really knows for how long this relationship was going on, or if this his first time stepping out of his marriage. But the church leadership does have a protocol to follow, which most of the time is not the "popular thing"
Depends on how long he’s been living in opposition to God! Why isn’t anyone asking this question? If this has been ongoing?? For years? Yeah I’m done with his past teachings. Let’s clean house of those who are leading a double life and repenting bc they got caught and would have never stopped then move them on out.
@@Bigworminthehouse not suggesting we should remove the Psalms lol.....but with this new information, maybe his sermons should be removed, not sure....

Our brother fell into sin, we gotta pray for him. It bothers me when some Christian RUclips channels use this moment to have a story and get the episode sponsored and some profit off of ads. Not talking about you brother And how we are deleting everything about him
We need to do things God's ways according to his word, not adopting cancel culture in the church with no chance if reconciliation.. The door must always be open for reconciliation. If there is accountability, sincere repenting, renunciation, and making amends when needed- nobody should be holding that sin against that person. If God has forgiven- we forgive. Shattered trust may take some time to heal from, but we must do the right thing by God.
Exactly!!! I bet when Peter told Jesus, he would never deny him he absolutely believed it in his heart, Yet he went onto deny him three times and the Lord forgave him and he was restored! The entire Point of church discipline is restoration!! My heart is grieving over what happened, But I asked so many others have learned so much from Lawson teachings! He fell the same way that Peter and all of us do from time to time. He confessed it Which is such a good thing, but I’m sure it was a hard thing because he knew everything that was at stake, but he also knew it was the right thing to do by Jesus to truly repent! Erasing him like he never existed is absolutely ridiculous. I feel like if his wife does not divorce him then as long as his house is in order for the next few years, he should be restored to ministry. I may be dead there would still be a husband of one woman. If his wife forgives him and Jesus forgives him then why are we putting him on an island with no lifeboat by himself? We have so many stories in the Bible of great men, such as David, And they weren’t erased from the Bible, but held examples to us! Praying over Steve and his wife Anne!
Anne would probably love to divorce him, but then she would get the blame. As all you folk keep saying, "If God can forgive him, so should we." So she'll get excoriated for not forgiving him, so she'll have to keep living with a man who betrayed her with a 24 year old woman. Chances are, though, that he'll divorce Anne and move in with his paramour.
Did not Mr. Lawson preach strongly against ( inappropriate relations) adultery with women? So he should take the same medicine he gave to other adulterers. He brought this shame upon himself not to mention the shame on his family, church family, calvinism and most of all GOD. Sure hope he truly repents.
I so agree. I have his books, tapes and videos for over 10 years. I even have a fountain pen and I'm a woman. I will continue to listen to him but will also pray for him and his family. He's broken now and God can still use him in another platform to glorify His Name and not the Lawson name. God doesn't throw us away. But man does. Be very careful how we condemn because but for the grace of God go we.
How is God going to get any glory out of Lawsons' actions? I do suspect that even now Lawson is sitting somewhere working on a book about how he "fell and was redeemed", and he'll be going on a speaking tour next year and make millions of dollars from all his fans pouring out to see him. I doubt if that would make God happy, though.
I understand the frustration, but we must uphold the absolute authority of Scripture in situations like this. First, it’s essential to separate gifting from character. Yes, God can use flawed men for His purposes, but Scripture is clear that those in leadership are held to a higher standard. 1 Timothy 3:2 says that an elder must be "above reproach." When someone like Steve Lawson, or even Ravi Zacharias, is found to have sinned in ways that disqualify them from pastoral leadership, it’s not just an "incident." It’s a violation of the trust that God requires of those who shepherd His people. The teachings of these men might still contain biblical truth, but their credibility as examples of godly living is shattered. It’s not about erasing history; it’s about upholding the standard of holiness that God commands. In James 3:1, we are reminded that "not many should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment." The issue here is not just the content of their teaching, but the hypocrisy that undermines the Gospel message they were supposed to represent. Bringing up figures like Martin Luther is a deflection. Luther, like all historical figures, had flaws, but he wasn’t living a double life, preaching one thing while secretly indulging in gross sin. When a pastor is caught in disqualifying sin, the church must act decisively-not to erase everything they did, but to protect the integrity of the Gospel. If we minimize sin in our leaders, we undermine the seriousness of God’s holiness.
The second step-repentance-seems to be the one that Steven hasn’t taken yet according to the only thing we do know-what his elder board at Trinity Baptist posted.
Elders make wise decisions! I would not question the Elders and Leaders collectively at different ministries. They are making best decisions. No judgment, only facts with consequences. Elders directly & indirectly involved in this process are divinely Called and accountable for their decisions in this matter and guaranteed they are seeking God's wisdom in discipline and hopefully his restoration to the family of Christ as this is a very serious level of deception, hypocrisy, disgrace on Jesus Christ in the pulpit and Lord's supper. We can be assured the Elders decide if he has honestly repented. If he repents, he and others' can re-post. There are many and plenty of resources available out there.
They ereased Ravi Zacharias and forgot everything he did for the kingdom of God. David sinned, but we still read his Psalms and we put him in a list of Bible heroes.
I believe people “banish” someone who has fallen is that they fear anything less than banishment is acceptance of the sin. The fact that he confessed his sin shows repentance and his “unacceptance” of it. And that in itself is what ANY true Christian would do! And on another note: tolerance of “world like feminism” in the marriage and /or church may have a factor in these type of tragedies. Not to excuse any sin, but not to leave any ignored.
You're saying that wives who leave the kitchen shouldn't complain when their husbands have affairs? Blaming the victim....how very Christian. (And I'm not being sarcastic.)
@@clayman2216 And what do you think of the most recent news? Lawson had an affair for 5 years, with a 24 year old girl (meaning she was 19 when it started.) If his wife wasn't giving him any sex he should have just divorced her, not cheated on her and bringing disgrace to God.
I totally agree with you. His teachings should stay. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. He was an excellent expository teacher and very passionate. People that are doing this are trying to be God in my opinion. Wrong wrong wrong…. 🤦🏻♀️😣 God bless 🙏🏻😊
There is no command to destroy his DVDs or books. Is their content sound and helpful? I thought so when I saw them. If you want to continue to use them, it is a free country. However, the same could be said for Ravi Zacharias. I heard some great stuff from him while (it was later found out) that he was living a double life that would make non Christians blush. I even heard him give advice on how pastors can avoid temptation to sexual sin when (it was later found out) that he was deep into sexual sin. Women in my church were studying one of his books when news of the scandal broke. It creeped them out and they stopped the study. Am I going to recommend any of his books in the future? No. If the man did not believe the very bible he was teaching, why go to him to have the bible explained?
@@Bigworminthehouse respectfully, people want to eliminate Lawsons teachings, which are in line with scripture, because of his falling into sin. David committed adultery as well as murder, and he didn't come clean until he was confronted by Nathan. Nobody is talking about throwing out the psalms David wrote What's the difference? I'm on the fence myself, leaning towards not canceling his teachings. Disqualified as a pastor no question, but to eliminate his teaching... i don't know. So i goto the scripture, and David is a similar example of the situation. David became a much weaker king after this and his kid.. oh boy. So I believe their was consequences for his sins, but his teaching were still used.

Did he repent? TBC said "The elders have met with Steve and will continue to come alongside him and pray for him with the ultimate goal of his personal repentance.". Have they met their goal?
Are we not taking into account the possibility that Steve Lawson himself may have requested his teachings be taken down in light of the circumstances? We know next to nothing about what has happened including what it was that constitutes an "inappropriate relationship with a woman" and why the church and other organizations have removed these resources. Let's not jump to conclusions based on what we're seeing, if no statements have been made to explain the actions done in the wake of the news from last week.
It is too early to make a call! Everything depends on whether Dr Lawson is repentant and cooperative with his church leadership in terms of discipline and restoration. In the worst case scenario, if he is unrepentant, divorces his wife to be with this woman, I could never ever pick up a book of his again or listen to him preaching. If he is repentant and is restored to fellowship, that will be different. We must forgive and still value his contribution. Everything depends on his ownership and accountability of his sin.
We devour our wounded. It is easy to make a huge mistake in a careless moment, and it is a possibility with any person. Just... what happened to the closer than a brother sense in the church? Even if not a Pastor, he is our brother.
Shouldn't happen to a pastor with 40 years in the ministry, lovely wife, three children, everything to lose..... not to mention supposedly indwelt with the Holy Spirit. I suspect he's in the beginning stages of dementia, that's when guys start to act and do things they never would have done before.
Right? There is something evil lurking within the system of evangelicalism as practiced by many. Somehow suffused by the stench of legalism and the flavor of arrogance.
I'd never heard of this man until now. It seems he was an excellent bible teacher, so I'm going to watch his videos. If erasing the history of flawed people is intended, start with ripping the book of Psalms out of the Bible.
What is the purpose of sound doctrine if it’s not expressed in your personal life? Lawson extended zero grace to others who fell to the same sin to the extent of questioning their very salvation. By virtue of logic he should be questioning his salvation, being that he was unable to live up to his own standard. He had no problem being the hammer. Now let’s see how he like being the nail.
Can you give an example of an individual in the position of a pastor by name who committed a sexual sin that Dr. Lawson attacked or belittled or humiliated publicly from his position behind the pulpit or in front of a classroom?
What do I look, you’re research assistant? I don’t need to name anyone “by name” to understand his expressed opinion on the matter. Ya know, if Lawson came out and made a statement of his own, you wouldn’t have to defend him. And as deafening as it is, silence is probably the best legal strategy for him…Just in case this whole scandal is a lot bigger than portrayed. It’s highly unlikely that this is the one and only time he stepped out in his marriage.

He was living a lie for 5 years while giving sermons about living a Godly life. The message is important but so is the messenger. Do you think you should reconsider your stance perhaps?
I dont get it - my bible says that "if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If God forgives us then who is anyone to say or act differently. Haven't we ever heard of the Parable of the Prodigal Son, the restoration of Simon Peter and God's restoration of King David?

We don't really know the whole story brother! Whether he confessed voluntarily before anyone found out or he was found out first then confessed. But I agree with you, who can erase him but the One who created him.
The way Alistair Begg and now Steve Lawson (who also spoke out against Begg) have been dealt with is like most things Calvinist and Reformed, and that is contra Scripture. The Bible does not cancel those who sin. Removing the writings, sermons and all references of a sinner does not make the sin go away. If the Bible dot so there would be no Books of Moses, nothing of David or Solomon nor of Paul and Peyer to mention but a few Biblical writings. It is true that deeds speak louder than words - consider the deeds of the leading Reformed preachers towards their brothers and ask yourself do not these purely the truth of their teaching! Of course they are not responsible for these actions as they have no free will, not so!

Absolutely spot on. Steve Lawson teachings are a blessing for the church
Amen!

I’ve been hearing that same thing in several videos.

As far as the Master's Seminary or any other ministry delelting Steve Lawson's info, they kind of have to. I understand that.
Amen!!!
Really? Then Jesus obviously erred in John 7:24. You might want to take that up with Him and show Him the error of His words on that.
I'm keeping his books, and I'm going to reread them eventually.

Very very true

Any wife who has experienced betrayal at the hands of her husband, can relate to the devastation, pain and trauma which follows. Unfortunately, many churches don't follow scripture and keep these men in ministry. I DONT think anyone really knows for how long this relationship was going on, or if this his first time stepping out of his marriage. But the church leadership does have a protocol to follow, which most of the time is not the "popular thing"

And how we are deleting everything about him
We need to do things God's ways according to his word, not adopting cancel culture in the church with no chance if reconciliation..
Hope you never need mercy Ms Perfect
Someone here said, they’re canceling and erasing him to protect their brand and not to glorify God… that’s exactly how it seems, I’m very disappointed

@@saytunfoo5681 yes I have the updated video here in my channel here’s the linkruclips.net/video/ol7VydGXoao/видео.htmlsi=N_CrA08GfjU-Dcfs
@biblegeeksquad1804 Thank you brother. I have watched it. We were all deceived so you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.
But God didn't forgive David, and he's not going to forgive Steve Lawson.
@@barbarapeterson4000 Psalm 51, 1 John 1:9.
@@yunowot Read the whole story of King David. David prays and prays for God not to kill his first born son with Bathsheba - God kills him anyway. Each of David's sons turn on each other. David asks to rebuild the temple but doesn't get to do it. HIs son Solomon's life ends in the destruction of Israel. All on account of God not forgiving David. ; )
@@barbarapeterson4000 2 Chronicles 6: 9.
We don't really know the whole story brother! Whether he confessed voluntarily before anyone found out or he was found out first then confessed. But I agree with you, who can erase him but the One who created him.
They deleted Ravi Zacharias, they will do the same with Lawson because no one knows how long it went on for.
What about Ravi Z?/
Where is his public statement? Let him reap the consequences for the sin he chose and betraying his first ministry which was his wife and family.
Steve Lawson appears to be being 'memory holed'.
Justin Peters said he should be erased because of the sin and the reproach it brings on the Lord.
This does not bring sin and reproach against God or the Gospel, who can point a finger at God? This was purely the actions of a man, not God!
There was not a real following of Matthew 18 from what we know unless he is unrepentant. That’s what’s bothering me
In that case, let's delete all of the psalms written by David who also fell in adultery. In addition to all of the texts that were written by David in the Old Testament! Just ridiculous!
If it was a one time thing then fine. But he might have lived a double life so if he is preaching against the very thing he is doing on the side it makes him a hypocrite and relationships can go on for years without getting caught. The masters seminary or ligioner if they kept his material it makes them look bad. These guys also know more than what they released to the public.
Trinity Bible Church scrubbed their entire preaching history of Steve’s
It’s unfortunate they did this horrible thing Someone here said, they’re canceling and erasing him to protect their brand and not to glorify God… that’s exactly how it seems, I’m very disappointed
If they wanna delete Lawson; they should go ahead and delete the psalms of David for he had Sinned. 😢😮 What a bunch of Hypocrites
David sinned and God never forgave him. Made the rest of his life a misery - both for him and his family.
David was a man after God's own heart!
He taught limited atonement, which is a false teaching.
Look at the sin that John Hagee did, they didn't erase him and he is allowed to continue preaching. He committed adultery plus got that other woman pregnant then left his wife for her. They have allowed him to continue preaching. This is all wrong how they are treating Steve Lawson.
Well, John Hagee is disqualified. The Bible clearly teaches that. Steven J Lawson is now disqualified as well.
I think it's wrong how they treated John Hagee. And the fact that this guy actually has parishioners that sit in pews and listen to him talk.... that's disturbing, too. But Lawson's camp can't do that because John McArthur himself made a video saying that "fallen" pastors shouldn't be allowed to return to ministry.
@@barbarapeterson4000 MacArthur has said what the Bible says and that is in this case Steven Lawson can’t return to the ministry. His ministry is finished and he knows that. It’s a sad situation for all because Christians are made to look like hypocrites preaching one thing and doing something else. This is a lesson for us all.
Yeah delete it all, delete all his works salvation pride from the internet, rid us of his pomp and pride.
King David was still King, still bore son's and still was part of Jesus lineage...God did not erase him but accepted David's repentance..I agree Dr. Lawson should be given the same grace
Please reread David's story after he seduces Bathsheba and murders Uriah. Then share here any passages that show that God forgave David. Seems to me he tormented him for the rest of his life.
Was this pre-ordained or pre-destined?
