This has happened to my family a few times when a white English family friend has booked a few rooms for his family and us on a holiday away. The rooms were in his name. Then we turned up and the hotel owner got really abusive and threatened to call the police if we didn't leave. The irony was the person who booked the room was the Chief Inspector of Lancashire police. It didn't go down well at all.

IF someone wants to be racist in their PRIVATE life fine, join the KKK for all I care but when you are AT WORK you have a PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BEHAVE PROFESSIONALLY and I hate people who shun that responsibility. Did you get compensated? maybe a discount or a free meal in the hotel restaurant? If I owned the place your stay would be FREE and along with a humble apology you would get some kind of an upgrade.

I had this happen to me a few times in the past few years. One beach house I’d already paid for all of a sudden they canceled saying they’d double booked. This occurred after the owner asked to have a little information about me and our family. And I shared freely but it seems that’s what got us bumped. It’s ugly but we got our money back and rented another beach front home. Now I’d write a review but in the past I didn’t but looking back I should’ve just so others wouldn’t have this experience.

It's so sad to see that people still discriminate against others by race, color, and/or religion. Happy that my wife and I never had to experience something like this on our adventures. We are an interracial couple and we have traveled a lot as you can see on our channel but fortunately, no one ever said anything - and that's good for their health.

People don't seem to understand the concept of PROFESSIONALISM. In the world of work and business people have a responsibility to behave in a PROFESSIONAL MANOR. You can be racist all you want in your PERSONAL life but I hate people who abrogate their responsibility to be PROFESSIONAL.
And as I stated above he did not JUST hate black, or brown or any other human "skin tone". The guy also very much hated the color GREEN because MONEY is GREEN and he put a huge amount of effort into getting rid of as much of it as possible.
Choosing to LOSE a crap load of money instead of MAKING a lot of money to me shows that he hates the color GREEN the most, maybe EVEN MORE than black.
This still happens in 2022. Racism will Never go away.

These videos always make it seem as though the legal and judicial systems will execute fairly when it comes to black people. But that's the whole point of systemic racism. Every sector of society supports white supremacy. So his partners will say it's not that serious; and the police will certainly shoot first and ask questions later. That's how systemic racism works. And it's very difficult to get one sector to report on the other; so even though a black person can be right and be on camera as behaving correctly, it's likely they will lose anyway, because white supremacy supports itself by always agreeing with itself, no matter the evidence.
The sad part is that there are real people like this on the world.

Reminds me of when I tried to finance a guitar amp. I had enough cash in my business account to buy 20 amplifiers for cash, but I didn't have a credit rating at the time. The credit manager decided that the senior's residence I've lived in for 15 years is a homeless shelter. I guess he didn't like my address. I waited a month to get the amp, so I wasn't leaving without it. I put it on my debit card, and it took 3 attempts for the sale to clear. I asked the salesperson if I was charged for all 3 attempts. He said no, but when I double-checked at home, I saw that $948 was taken for a $316 amplifier.
The manager became more than willing to extend credit as soon as he realized his legal exposure (and that I had plenty of money to spend on music). Refusing credit to a disabled senior without running a credit check is in direct violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights (I'm a Canuck). I asked him, "Would you do business with somebody that called you a homeless junkie?", and painfully hobbled off.

When I was younger my parents built a vacation home for us to stay in on weekends or holidays or vacations during the year from 1979-1993. My parents both retired from teaching and made the vacation home as their year around permanently home just after selling our main home. It was a good vacation home for us for many years. We even brought our 2 cats with us to stayed in the home. Our 2 cats enjoyed the house for being in the woods. One cat did catch lives garter snakes. One cat just stayed near the home in the drive way or in the garage or just chilling on the back deck. Both cats were such good cats. Even my grandmother stayed in the house during the 4th of July. It was a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom house till my parents converted the garage as another bedroom with a bathroom. Even had done is remodeled the kitchen and enclosed the back porch as a year round sitting room for my mother back in mid 90’s. Both of my parents are gone. The house was sold twice. The new owners are using it as a vacation rental now these days. Myself and my sister are kind of sad that the house is being used as a vacation rental.
