Another interesting bit of trivia, the driver aids that were on that car, were banned for 1994 during the middle of the season. We all see how that went.
No, they were banned at Hockenheim in 1993 but the teams all claimed that they can't just remove that stuff from the current cars so it was postponed until the beginning of the 1994 season. The accidents of 1994 fundamentally had nothing to do with that. The deadly crashes were due to other components failing and the other accidents were young drivers (Lamy etc.) making driver errors.
Well, how fast would those Pros be, if they were forced to talk nonstop about something?
Like 0.500 slower, that's be my guess.

@@mr8I7 i was talking about silverstone.
One of my favourite F1 cars of all time 😍
Really liked this one Jimmy. Senna's Q2 lap in 1993 was a 1:21.986, wow ! Just wondering about your tyres and fuel load ...
silverstone had a different layout back then
Your first lap is better than me after 8 laps. Though I did have the default setup, so...
+1 for the captions
Mystic car, nice laps.
I could only muster a 1:34.890, but I'm not particularly good with setups, and I haven't nailed the line around Brooklands and Luffield yet.
ritwht still not too bad
Top Jimmy cooks! Have you done any sim racing at the classic Silverstone? That was a frikkin track. Can't find on YT
Allowing setups is bollocks, we ALL want to see different drivers in identical cars in real life whether you admit it or not, IRL F1 is segregated by the have and have nots of money and, thus knowledge. Why bring that 'bernie' 'charlie whiting' 'big tony ferrari spaghetti'' BS to a video game eliminating the possibility of a raw talent showcase and no doubt mo' fun!?
@@jasonschmid6979 sure duuud. I like what I said.
@@jasonschmid6979 no professional driver sets their car up themselves. They all have their engineers. Sure knowing a bit about setting up a car wont hurt but i believe the best driver should be the one whos best at driving. Not the one spending hours and hours (which you wouldnt have in real life anyways) working on setup. Should finding a good setup be rewarded? Sure why not. Should it exclude the vast majority of players from having the slightest bit of a chance in a competition like this? I dont think so
agenthoini as a driver you still have to know how setups work to give accurate and proper feedback
Nicely done. Not a bad time at all.
So I feel like I'm on par with you as far as sim racers go. How do I you get 250k views when you're not even a "pro"? I'd like to start racing more and doing fast laps. I was pretty good back in the day (you old enough to remember FINDTHELIMIT.com)? I think I had the 2nd fastest lap for almost every track .... only being beaten out by Dominik Binz (this was about 15-16 years ago). Aids were not allowed on find the limit and I raced in leagues where aids of any kind were banned (FSR and NAR USA). It was with the F12003 game I think -- I think it's made by the the same people who now make Rfactor2.
Good time, I will give it a go today 👍🏼
just a fat *yeet* passing by
Wish there was a more natural head movement in some of these games
It still was incredible driving you did
Jimmy are you faster in vr? And by how much? Or how less? 🤔
Haven't tried it in VR, but I find it easier to learn lines in VR because of the accuracy that 3D affords.
Snap, looking around to look into the corners as you do in reality = a far more immersive experience at least for me in VR. Often find Pancake (monitor) view now to be very front only restrictive. Like driving through a tank drivers slot view
JIMMY I can’t seem to get any faster than a 1:35! I’ve tried what seems like everything to improve it and it just doesn’t budge. Don’t suppose you have any advice?
how do you enter this open setup competition/test? Is the competition in the RFactor2 menu somewhere when you play the game?
That’s like me in Forza7 time trial. It only takes longer and I’m quite further down, lol
I am glad you don't want to be left alone like Raikkonen.
The speed dropping on each up shift is just fantastic. It's like a 5 year olds thought process.
That number isn't mph or km/h it's the rpm of the engine. Compare the number to the digital tachometer.
@@andrewneilson3580 You couldn't be more wrong. You could try, but you wouldnt succeed.
@@Malc180s I think you know damn well that I have to at least try, please explain how it is not then. I've never played rf2 but the number seems to correlate with the digital tachometer. Look at any freeze frame and it should match up. But please do educate me because I do not know if that is correct, it was only a guess.
you must feel so embarrassed for making that mistake. and then to double down once you were made aware just shows what a lot quality little twerp you are.
What setup changes did you make Jimmy?
Is this the full F1 track? Because if that is, the fastest lap from the race this year was 1:30:696..
Good work, why are you not using VR?
I'd love to be even half as good as you never mind the Pro's.
Nice laps
That's seriously impressive.
I'm willing to put my neck out and say, the top guys fiddle with the setup and thats what they have on you Jimmy. Not necessarily driving talent, oh and they don't have to concentrate on talking either just driving.
You are so good, where the hell are the esports guys finding time???
Hi jimmy, what force feed back setting do you have your direct drive wheel set at please.
