- Tetsuya Nomura and the Kingdom Hearts team worked with developer Jupiter to create one of the most innovative and well-received action RPGs on the Nintendo DS platform in 2007 in Japan and 2008 worldwide. That game was known as Subarashiku Kono Sekai or It's a Wonderful World in Japan. But in the west this game was called The World Ends With You.
Fourteen years later, the game's successor NEO: The World Ends With You was released to much less fanfare. In this video I talk about NEO: The World Ends With You and why I think the game is a modern hidden gem that deserves more attention than it got.

Thank you for watching!
Spread the word folks, give the franchise some exposure!
TWEWY seems destined to be an underrated gem. I didn't expect Neo to be as good but I find it to be equally as good. Such a great game and wonderful story that made me feel good by end game.
Glad more people are enjoying this modern classic, one of the better jrpgs of the generation and so little people played it
Sqaure Enix has always neglected TWEWY. They didn't market Neo at all either. Really breaks my heart because the chracters are some of my favorite in a JRPG
It's up there for me in the best games this generation. Gameplay was really fun and only got better as the game progressed, soundtrack is easily 10/10 with no bad tracks for me, returning characters were hyped and the rest of the game succeed the mechanics in the original game like threads, foods and difficulty management really really well.
I'm hoping you get a lot of views on this. Anything to let people know. There's only a few games from my teen years that are still near and dear to my heart: TWEWY and Phantom Dust. I religiously check up to see on sequels and while I didn't pre-order, I bought Neo on launch day and I wish I hadn't lost the switch in the divorce.
Just a little comment for the algorithm
ngl it's not a gem, this game is shit compared to the original.
It’s okay to admit you have bad taste, bro.
I like twewt but I can admit it sucks lol
