Warzone mobile needs a lot of work. Not fully optimized.
Those coloured pools are real life things called evaporation ponds. They are filled with water and chemicals. And as the name suggests the water evaporates and usually leaves behind a salt of some kind.
i'm pretty sure they are lithium pools, since the north of Chile has a lot of lithium mines
@@bistander6381 sounds right to me. A quick Google mentions the Salar de Atacama salt flat, with lithium salts being suspended in brine.

And yes, the so-called "lithium triangle" is a hot spot for future electric/green components, ie SOUTHCOM has it's sights set firmly on it (as Elon Musk bluntly boasted during the US-backed coup of Bolivia in 2019, _"we can coup whoever we want"_ ) - as they did copper prior in Chile, leading to the _first_ 9/11 in 1973 the US CIA backing up a military coup overthrowing democratically elected Salvador Allende for the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet - a huge player in that being Anaconda copper and its refusal to be nationalized for the public by Allende. The pools with coloured water are likely lithium mines, they let the water evaporate leaving the lithium. The colour indicates the quality.
Still don’t like 2042 it just doesn’t feel like a battlefield game. I prefer playing Battlefield 4 for sure

I agree 100%. Don’t get me wrong though BF2042 can be fun at times it just has never felt like a battlefield game. I’d say it feels more like call of duty tbh.
Same I tried it with the new map and it’s awful, robo dogs, shields, auto turrets. Plus people running round with daft guns and skins. Give me classes and realism back

I bought this game for $10 yesterday and only play the portal mode for the older games. Man I wish those games would make a comeback. BC 2 and BF 3 were my favorites

Bad Company 2 has servers, but there is a work around that has to be done for it to work. EA quit servers but someone else is running servers. the fix is on youtube
People crack me tf up man. They're like"bro all these maps are too big" then they drop a very nice infantry focused map and they're like " this map is too small" stop complaining and enjoy the game dude Jesus.

This whole map is literally just a village in Al-Mazrah. I can’t shake the “Deja-vu” feeling. It all just feels re-re-reused
I play fps games for past 30 years, everything feels re used and same weapons. Still fun anyway

@@chaimkobylinski1988 Yeah, I've been around since the Wolf 3D days. FPS games more or less all blend together anymore, except for 2042 with all the cool specialist gadgets. Sundance's wingsuit was like a breath of fresh air for me honestly, and each specialist feels fun and different to play.
I feel like a lot of the people that whine about the changes 2042 made are those that haven't been around anywhere near as long either of us and haven't had enough experience to realize that most other FPS games don't have as much variance in gameplay as they would like to think.

The new map is very good but Dice fumbled hard when it came to making the spawns for the conquest layout, it feels like there is an unnecessary amount of walking and the objectives themselves aren’t that great as points of interest to fight over, especially A1 and E1 which are too small and too open respectively
It’s not dice, it’s the 8 dice employees that are still actually working on this game.

@@collinthegamer510 That is most likely the case, it is just a skeleton crew working on this game, that can be anywhere from 10-20 developers on this game and the rest of the studio is working on the next iteration of the series. If you think about it the next BF game is supposed to release next year so it would make sense on that.

I'm glad you mentioned the cap zone size, some maps have very small caps and can't captured with vehicles , unnecessary clutter and narrow routes, it's like DICE don't want you to capture objectives with vehicles.
The map is fine I just wish it was bigger

Nooo big maps are not the move. All of the original maps on 2042 were too big at launch. You are probably one of those players that doesn’t play the objective a lot, because if you did you wouldn’t want objectives so spaced out

I wish Haven was bigger - it feels like Provence from V but without the two outside points and those points were what made the map work so well imo
Don't so much have a problem with the map size as a whole but rather I wish that the central city area was bigger. Haven't played TDM on it but I have a feeling it probably plays pretty well. On conquest and breakthrough though, the one side of the map just feels lifeless.
Provence is my all time fav battlefield map!

I been playing Battlefield 4 recently and it's has alot of full servers, game is alive as ever and as for Battlefield 2042 havent had fun with that game in almost a year, the game is absolutely soulless.
Only thing about Bf4 that is bad imo is that you can't unlock everything now. There is literally 0 servers running Chainlink, which you need for the MPX.

@@SafetyKitten I went back and checked, there's only 3 servers, all from Germany, that run chainlink. And one of them is titled MPX with 10 player max. Only issue now is that I don't have any friends that also have Bf4.

I think the range on that new launcher has been reduced to prevent people from spamming it in the deployment areas and such. Liz is literally used as a mortar in rush and breakthrough by people who just sit at the back so I guess they wanted to prevent that again.
Although it shouldn't be a problem anyway since the speed and turning radius on those rockets seem to be negligable, not to mention the constant need for line of sight. Let's hope they don't pull a BF4 on the thing and give it a reduced damage debuff again

I agree with the map balancing as I’ve played over 20 games on this map and only see USA win 3 times. And it’s hard to take flags back as there’s no jeeps to jump in and quickly get behind team. You should be able to spawn into chopper as a passenger even if your squad mate isn’t flying
ranger coming back to shoot you after running past is actually quite accurate as it will be "processing time". kinda cool actually.
The matchmaking is so terrible and especially for this map. This map makes it impossible to flip the score because there is virtually no cover on the outer edges of the map…

I remember playing this map all day long in Battlefield Bad Company 2. 2500 tickets. Endless action, spawn killing. Fun times man
jack most ultra settings are indistinguishable from the high setting, just put it a notch down from ultra and the game wont look different but you'll get more fps.
Bring back official hardcore. Jesus, that dude took an SRAW to the teeth and nothing happened.

Yeah it pisses me off there is no hardcore!! Because of the stupid skins it would have to be generic skins on soldiers. I miss so much playing hardcore in BF1, no fucking HUD for everything all the time. This game is for assisted people, no real skills needed...

Took a lil minute to learn , seems like the ttk is almost instantaneous, i dont like fire 75%of my mag missing another 75% shots and just getting instantly deleted by someone who has there aim assist turned all the way up
A match on this map is either 400-600 to 0 or 0 to 400-600. I have 10 rounds so far and it was always in this range😂

@@greelow in fact I just had the best experience with this one. Indeed, if you hold the middle, you have a huge advantage, more than in other maps, and it can lead to 400-0. But the whole point is to get the middle area, and if you do take it back, you can reverse the entire game. We were losing 180 to 500 and we WON ! Never saw any reversed situation like this one in any game before

1:53 just one of the MANY reasons bf2042 fails the bf test; that rocket impact should have absolutely killed Jack and destroyed that wall.
This looks and plays far more like a cod entry than a bf entry. There's no "weight" to anything.

Started playing this game again couple of days ago, quite fun. But people are always playing only for kills mostly on my team, and not resing or giving ammo...

It's because its not a main entry title its a prequel to battlefield 2142 from 2006 , the gameplay is very similar to me , I played 2142 alot as a kid I enjoy 2042 for that reason I can see why someone may dislike it though if they didn't play 2142, the next game will probably be battlefield 6 main entry

I was thinking the exact same thing a few days ago when I first tried this map. It was so OBVIOUSLY 1 sided map that it's crazy. Turns out I'm not alone...
Feels like a lot of veterans are back in action at the moment, the rounds are togher than the last few weeks. And so far no cheaters?!?

I like the map. If you capture B, C and whichever side you start from, those are easy to defend. Funneling enemy to D is good so you always have high ground

I played yesterday for a few hours and had 6 losses in a row as US (wasn't until my 7th match until I finally was put on RU bizarrely) With the exception of one match, every single time they capped all points except for A1 and it was RU dominating. However, I played again today for a few hours and it seemed to be fairly even and I even had a few matches where US held the entire map. It does seem (from my limited personal perspective) to have somewhat balanced out as everybody gets more familiar with the map, but there is definitely a strategy. Really you want to take the upper objectives first and work your way down. It's nearly impossible to try and fight upwards from D1. From there the team that holds B1 and C1 seems to always runaway with the win and its very difficult for the other side to make a comeback as they end up having to fight uphill from spawn to reclaim those central objectives.
Its definitely fun to play in small bursts, but the map in general seems to feel a bit uninspired and lacking atmosphere. The theme is cool but all just feels a bit rushed and underbaked imo compared to the other maps in previous seasons. I'm not someone who is deeply offended by the re-use of existing assets, I get why they may need to rely on that logistically - but every building having identical empty interiors makes it feel like once you've been in one building.. well you've seen the entire town.
I felt the same way about the copy pasted buildings in every BF since bf3 especially BF1 and BFV which had identical houses on almost every map

Really? I thought Redacted was too linear and had too many bottlenecks. Perhaps good for 32p Rush, not sure, but terrible for any other mode, especially at higher player counts...

I always wanted Angel to have his supply drop changed to a ranger with no gun and an ammo box and med box strapped to it.
That ranger ran past him and then went "wait a minute..." and doubled back just to shoot at him 😂

I don't believe the map is imbalanced. But if your team keeps the larger buildings, you'll win.
Every time i got put on the RU team we lost by a large margin, and every time i got put un the US team we won by a large margin, i cant put my finger on why that is so, but im also pretty sure is not an anecdotical ocurrence and its due to some map, spawn or vehicle imbalance
It's having high ground mixed with vehicles imo
been playing BF2042 the past few months, 128 conquest mode makes me feel like I can fit and fill ANY role at ANY point and I love this so much. imo best BF game for solo players
Weirdly, I agree about it being the best BF for solo players. But for me what makes battlefield special is the teamplay and thats why this one is my least favourite of the series.

The colored pools are used to make something called Pot Rust and the rust from the pots make these different colors

Good, Spiderman and Batgirl shouldn't even have 2 C5, let alone 3 like they did pre update.
Play engineer if you want your 3 x C5 back.
I think vehicles have been getting destroyed too easily, especially after the Pondahawk was introduced.
Or at least that's what a buddy of mine and myself were using. As Assault class, spawn in Pondahawk and just fly over everything while taking turns jumping onto tanks with C5.
They have said in patch notes that they wanted to make the Engineer class the more focused vehicle counter.

I don't know, the FIRST game I played after taking a month off I was on US side and we won, and then the next game I was on RU and we lost so... I'm not so sure about one side being better by default.

I love this game. I really dont know why so many people are hating on this game. I have also played the other versions of BF and I like this one the most.
Every second week new skins are sold for 10-20€ but one map with 20 year old assets is called content. Its all old stuff.

Back before everything became infantry only maps. DICE tried to go back to their roots once with 2042, with large scale maps and multi-domain warfare; and all the BC2/Metro/Locker/CoD players were upset.
I have a galaxy s22 ultra and Warzone mobile is completely unplayable. The menu is the only thing that doesnt sutter, lag or freeze up. If it didnt freeze and then crash im positive my phone would burst into flames. Im sure they will get it optimized and working. As a father with 3 young kids having warzone accessible on my phone would be incredible......maybe someday.. great video as always jack!
Who the fuck plays anything on mobile. I have a s23 ultra and games don't even appeal to me on it
@@SavingPvtBryan32 you'd be surprised, alot of people only play mobile games only, even going so far as to get gloves made for mobile games so sweat isn't getting in the way, it's kinda sad tbh.

The new about this map you have to hold C1 in order to win or make it so enemy team wont run over entire team.
for your settings, ray traced ambient occlusion looks nice af on maps with grass.
2042 seems so uninspired..bf1 and 5 is where it's at. Expecially bf1, so detail rich and well thought in every aspect

I absolutely hated 5 because it felt so different from the older games.

I still need to check out the new map, but the more I play or watch 2042, the more I really hope that in the next game, they drop the whole operators thing for generic namless soldiers like in past games... or at least have separate ones for the countries you play as. Seeing the same people shooting at each other on both the US and RU teams is so immersion breaking at times.
Does the AK5 alwqys need that tag on it? I only recall payday 2 having the tag on it, scratched out as well.
I know the numbers on it are important, but wouldnt the numbers been put into the gun itself and not on a sticker?
this map feels rushed and unfinished i dont get whats up with EAs obsession with baren open deserts, the top down view of it in the spawn selection screen the colored waters look ugly and could of totally been left out, they should of made this in a city environment like the grand bazaar level in bf3 there is to much nothing

Im having blast on this map get 30+ kills a game genuinely like it , I suggest looking up the best controller settings if you're on console , the 2.5x thermal scope is great on this map too

You've been lying about BF2042 for years, this game has always been terrible
It's always one sided. Needs way more cover in the outskirts. Also some small vehicles to travel. Some buildings should be closer, like in COD.
I noticed tanks can't drive over some vehicles, it's annoying
Not the best and not the worst map. Unlocked new player card on first playthrough without knowing I did it. Many of the buildings are recycled floor plans from other maps.
Ive always used the ranger Jack. It needs a buff.
