    These are rugged watches. I have the white MOP with the fine link bracelet. Bought it 6 years ago and wore it as my daily for about 3 years. The finish helps hide the scratches and dings. Both crystals are still perfect! However, I'm selling mine on chrono at the moment. My 60 year old eyes are having trouble reading the time w/o glasses. Otherwise, I love this watch!

    I fell down the Sinn rabbit-hole last year when a salesman at an AD 'innocently' showed me the UX model.
    I've got my eye on this Sinn 556 having said that after the UX I'll never need another watch. What a crazy affliction we all have!

    I have been watching your Sinn videos and I am totally convinced and have no worries as far as the quality and reliability of the brand is conserned. I owned a Sinn U1 fully tegimented 2 years ago, I sold it after a while and suddenly I missed it. So last week I bought myself a Sinn U1 SE (on its way from Germany) and hopefully I will stick to it. 😁

    Another great review that has a side by side comparison of a 556 with a fine link and another with the H-link. As I said in your other review with the blue-dialed 556i, I am planning to get the black MOP once Sinn makes the new tool-less micro adjustment bracelet available on the 556. With that said, I hope they also make it available on the fine link with an adapter. The H link and the fine link bracelets taper the same, correct? Anyway, it would be nice to be able to wear it on fine link with tool less micro adjustment.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  3 месяца назад

      Thank you :) Unfortunately I cant see it ever being available for the fine link as that is more a dress style bracelet and so no need for on the fly micro adjustment Sir

    Hi I am thinking of buying this watch, have few concerning Q's if could help:
    1.) Is time keeping movement still +1/-1 Second per Day after wearing 1 year?
    2.) How many years until recommend full servicing?
    3.) Would you recommend to send to strictly SINN in for servicing or any reputable watchmaker can service it since the Sellita movement's is not an exclusive SINN in-house movement?

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 месяцев назад +1

      My one is still keeping +2 after 5 years not many watches do that from new . If wearing it everyday I'd recommend every 5/7 years for a service. Any good watchmaker can service it. We did one not so long back

      @@ClickSpringReview Thanks for the info. Lastly, do you think this 200m WR with the screw down crown would be built enough safe to be worn inside a sauna or steam room ? Im aware water resistant is different from heat but ppl at the gym wear 300m WR Rolex Submariners in the sauna and its undamaged/keeps functionally flawless so thinking maybe a 200m WR or even 100m WR watch would suffice ?

    My only issue with these no-date 556’s is that I’ve read that they have a ghost date position on the crown. I know that doesn’t bother everyone, but I think it’s unacceptable on a watch in this price range. I’m fine with using the SW200, but remove the date mechanism and make the crown go straight to hacking. Other than that, it’s an awesome watch.

      Why does the (alleged/hypothetical) ghost date get some ppl so bent? IF a watch has one, you the operator simply pull the crown through it. Like you would if it did have a visible date wheel and you were changing the time. It changes literally nothing about wearinng, reading or operating the watch. What is the fuss about, really?
