- Jeep TRACKHAWK or Durango HELLCAT ... Which one would you choose and why... The Durango HELLCAT is more powerful on paper with 710HP compared to the Jeep TRACKHAWK at 707, but the Durango is MUCH HEAVIER and slower off the line. 0 -60 times are very close and quarter mile times are even closer. Yea you can do a weight reduction package I don't know what dodge calls it but it releases 400 lbs
Plus better weight distribution compared to the jeep and they are trying not to make people mad at the same time wouldn't that make someone mad when they bought a hundred grand jeep and a eighty grand dodge beats them plus interior looks better i am buying the Durango in reactor blue same as my moms rt plus I'm 17 man which is odd for a big SUV but I like it i think dodges interior as been outdated but I like this new interior

I'm going for the Durango for the towing capacity for my race trailer, and the 3 rows for my kids. My 04 Excursion is getting tired, and I want to replace it with something fun that can tow my race car, and be fun to drive.
Durango only holds 6 ppl. It also tows more than a TH. I got one. Love it.
It has a 7 seat option. Mine only have 6 in my srt and it's a beast 💪
I just wish the trackhawk was less Jeep and more Dodge. Honestly I would have bought one years ago but really didn’t care for the “jeepness” of them. No regrets on the Durango Hellcat, this thing is a home run.
4 kids and a wife and we travel a lot. Hellcat me! I've had a trackhawk it was cool and had a Durango sxt. We loved the Durango more.
Given that one is really only an extended version of the other like it always been...Im going for Track Hawk since its more on the lot, don't need third row, 7200 pounds is still healthy for towing...you get more "Lux" in the Jeep compared to the Durango (pano roof, extra leather bits)...

I just ordered my Hellcat Durango. I have the Srt Durango at the moment. It's definitely for an enthusiasts. I've had every model of the durango because I like the look of it and to be able to say I got a Hellcat Durango is bragging rights. But the Trackhawk would definitely win stock vs stock.

The Durango has always looked so much better than the Jeep’s. I have a 2020 Srt durango now and will be getting a 2021 Durango Hellcat in April
I'd take the Durango all day. There are way too many Grand Cherokee SRT and Trackhawks on the road, I almost never see a SRT Durango

The Jeep track hawk top speed is 180 not 200
I've seen them do more than 180

The demons top speed is somewhere around there but it actually goes over 200 mph

The Durango is so much nicer than the jeep. Spending $80,000+ what’s a few more grand for a better truck? Plus it’s only coming out 1 year so that alone is worth the bragging rights
Spend a few bucks on different pulleys for the Durango and it will walk the Trackhawk every time

Durango because it’s for 1 year it’s going to be a Collectors item it will only increase in value as the year’s go by if you put it up. And if you drive it all the time The depreciation still would be less you will get more on it on a trade in than a trackhawk cause it’s a 1 year deal. If you Modified the Durango hellcat it would be worth less because people want originality You can also get a Third row seat delete in the Durango which will make it lighter or just take them out and put them back when ever you want
DURANGO HELLCAT ALL DAY, Im 32 own a 15 challenger scat pack shaker and 19 golf R (winter/city car) I got $5k waiting to give my dealer when I'm ready to order/build it I'm a wait till march since production ends June I got a wife and 2 kids 5 &3 , Durango does it all 3.5 0-60 nd tows 8700lbs nd interior it don't get no better only car I'll need for the next 10 years
They always boost up the numbers. They cant be accurate on that durango. Trackhawk is 400 lbs lighter and slightly slower? Not buying it. Trackhawk has to be faster
Shit crazy... the trackhawk tell you in awd from 0-60 it's 3.4s.
The Durango is 3.6s 0-60... I'm watching all of these side by side and the Durango keep winning and I'm trying to figure out why... hell the trackhawk should at least get the first few seconds but I haven't seen it yet.
@@elitebeing21 i think i know why. The 2021 is tuned different they went super aggressive knowing its heavier. So it comes optimized on the tune. Thats all you can get. Other than that maybe gearing. But not sure if the 2021 hawk has been raced against it. I saw a few against 2020 and older. Gearing can make a huge difference off the line. But still trackhawk has a way higher ceiling. How can it not. Its way lighter with the same powerplant. They just optimized that durango over trackhawk as a special edition vehicle.

I can't be the only one who waters at the mouth over the latest ram trucks. Your all black charger could use yellow lights. Not the basic ones the good ones..the ram's seem to have the best yellow lights. They must have some strong bulbs
Last time I look at the performance between JEEP SRT & Durango SRT it's a tenth of a second between the two and same for the Trackhawk & Durango Hellcat. They have similar performance so you're not losing in that factor. Durango only wins because of more people you can carry and tow more. The Durango does sound better out the box. I will stick with Jeep because its smaller. Durango is going to be outrageous in price just like the Demon.
