This video is about me😢 thanks for making this a video to make people more aware!! Love the content been watching for months
Got you brotha… I didn’t want people knowing your IG or anything so I kept it anonymous
Dude hate this happened to you, don't let this get you beat down, hold your head high and grow from the experience. Hard starting out in the adult life and getting hit this hard.
@@brandonjohnson5226 thank you bro, yeah about 6 months of grinding down the drain but money can be made back. It was a hard pill to swallow it's done and over with, but that's life. Gotta live and learn, but bet I won't have this happen to me again😭 (I've had luck in the past buying srt and scat chargers off Facebook in the past but I just got lucky they weren't scammers)
never pay cash, always cashier check
My brother just did this shit with a new body Escalade with 104,000 miles on eBay… it wasn’t stolen but definitely a lemon… if I can’t test drive or see it before hand.. I ain’t getting it. I ain’t spending no gwop based on someone’s word. Fuck that!
Sucks to hear these stories. Glad you're raising awareness about this. More people need to look for these red flags so they don't become the next victim. If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
Really wish the younger generation would bring someone along with these deals to help with the red flags.
That part.

I would’ve gladly went with him to check everything out. I’ve bought dozens of cars and a few on FB Marketplace and I’ve walked away from more cars than I care to remember cuz I’m not forking over thousands of dollars on bullshit! When buy shit like Mopars you NEED to have the police or your local DMV run the VIN to make sure it’s not entered into NCIC as stolen. I bought my Redeye from a private seller and we literally did background checks on each other. I made sure he wasn’t scamming and he made sure I wasn’t a jack boy
Thanks for posting. This is my son and he literally did everything right in this situation aside from taking a police officer with him.
It seems like a inside job a guy tried to do me like that he reported the car stolen before he got to me but I checked the vin when he got there and seen that he reported it stolen so I didn’t buy the car he came 10 hours to my house to try and scam me
Your son should not buy a car without a title smh.
@lauragrossman7403 you a milf
@@dreamz392 the car had a title idk who said I bought a car with no title
@@dreamz392 I gave the title to lady in tag office at court house that's how they figured out it was stolen bc she ran the vin on the title they didn't swap the vin to a v6 Cherokee or even try to cover it, or they scammed me by selling it to me right after they reported it stolen. Idk
You shouldn't ever buy a vehicle without having the title to the vehicle and transferring that title into the new owners name. At least in the state of Pennsylvania where I live that is how you have to do it, that avoids this situation from happening. That is very unfortunate that this happened!! I really feel bad for this person who bought this vehicle.
Facts his srt thirstyness got the best of him sadly 🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿😂😂🤣😭😪😭
Had the title
Owner and seller was in on it together. Seller was messaging buyer the day before and was acting like he was his friend. Got buyer to send him pic for racks to let seller know he serious. Seller told owner to report it stolen the day before they meet knowing it won't show up on vin check. Next day the perfect robbery happened. Again, owner and seller was in together. If I were buyer, i would find the Jeep and burn it. You not taking my money and think you got away with it.
That’s exactly what I said that’s a inside job cause the website I use it sho me if the car was reported stolen 5 minutes ago
@@Meico330what website do you use ?
@@mooseLaidbAck nicb
Yea that play went way to smooth u not selling the srt with in a few hours of stealing it that was a play from the beginning to the end
I’m glad they didn’t hurt him for that money. Y’all please be careful out here
I don’t even have 27k in my bank account atm that’s crazy 🤦🏾♂️
Honestly he probably would’ve just been better off goin to a dealership and just using that as a down payment. He was just too anxious to get it and it cost him. I feel bad for him but I hope he definitely learned from this mistake 🤦🏾♂️💯
Why even cashout on a car. He was better off putting 4-5k down on a srt from a dealership🤦🏽♂️ I would never drop 27k with a random on Facebook
What if the owner of the jeep was in on it, the cops won’t think nothing about it because they get stolen all the time.
Don’t buy from people that you don’t know go to a Dealership or from someone you know this is bad
sometimes 3rd party apps like FB marketplace/mecari etc have better deals
If your gonna buy a mopar for the low. Or too good to be true. Just go ahead and assume it’s stolen. If your still naive to go ahead with the purchase. Just go ahead and have a back up plan or shell body you can swap engine/parts/ harness too.
27k for a 392/Trackhawk.. I’d damn sure jump on it.. but i need a LEGIT title.
fcked up part is that would’ve been a GREAT down payment for one from a real dealer. his payments still would’ve been high but STILL
the price is the first redflag... could be a inside jeep owner has someone fake steal then report it stolen after they have buyer then split the money 2 ways
If you don’t understand that you should purchase a vehicle WITH a title in hand from the dmv\county admin with the sellers name on it and verify that with the ID of the person, is beyond me. To me that is common damn sense.
Lesson learned buddy
Should’ve asked for the vin before he bought it. I would never buy a luxury car from anywhere besides a licensed dealership.
Facts and for only 27k something up
I agree
He did get the VIN number.
I did get the real vin and a title (I think it was a forged or replica title of some sort) but looked completely real. They didn't try swapping vins or anything 🙇♂️
So neither parent or someone he can trust was around to assist him with this steal of a deal? Come on now 😂
Fakebook can track IP address, FBI can track cell phone IP address.. the kid just doesn't have inside connections.. kid should contact his state Attorney General's office with those deeds.. somewhere there's video of the thief
VPN and burner phone probably already destroyed
I kind of agree with you, but I know people who buy salvaged chargers, challengers, Jeeps, and Durangos that have been in wrecks. Part them out and sell them. That’s how I got my 392 engine for my R/T Durango. It came out of a wrecked Jeep SRT.
If you think the car you about to get is stolen or fishy get the vin and call your insurance and ask to see if the car stolen, then you can set up the seller to get locked up.
Did you watch the video? He got the VIN... it didn't come back as stolen when he ran it on a sight. Days later when the cops ran it, it did.
😂😂😂 whenever I buy a vehicle off marketplace we meet at the notary to exchange money & do paperwork.
🤣🤣🤣💀 that’s good for him a real 🫏 for that move. So many red flags.
Easy one 😮 damnn bro is just chilling with 27k
Somehow😭
In other words.. If its too good to be true its too good to be true.
Smh. 🤦🏿♂️
Don't buy with cash.
18 with 27k god bless you
Damnnn Kidd got be more careful 💜🫡💯
$27,000 for an SRT should have told him from the start something ain't right...
It had 100k miles so that isn’t even outlandish. I just wouldn’t buy an SRT car period unless it’s from a car dealership
@@QuinLIVE you've got a point
Miles 📈
Goes to show everybody out here not playing with a full deck
Hemi below market value = Red flag. Cash only = Red flag again.
Private sellers usually only will take cash regularly because there's scams that buyers can pull with fake checks/deposits that they cancel
He should've called the state police in have them run the vin
Some of these jeep SRT are still valued high... especially the 2017+ models. Average 44k-66k. I wouldn't trust anything outside of carguru or some type of dealership. Red flags should go off...every time something is under valued on Facebook market...let's use logic and common sense..no warranty for this SRT(any car) don't trust it. Buy you sports cars from a dealership not FB marketplace
Almost no car holds its value…why he keep saying this about a fucking jeep
That’s why you run a car fax on the car
I would never pay a dodge anything from anyone but a dealership
Damn… $27,000 for a 2017 SRT Jeep??? Maybe a 2012 Jeep SRT
Yep, thought the guy just needed money or something but I had been looking at 2012-2015 ones with around same mileage for around same price. Thought I got lucky so I hopped on the deal :(
@@charliez6351 I mean now that I look at it, doesn’t seem too terrible of a deal
1) its suspicious he only wanted cash this was the number one red flag
2) How the hell you buy a car without a title? Thats like buying a phone without a phone plan
WTMF?! That seller should go to jail, period!!
That happened to me about 6 yrs ago i bought a 2013 Altima.. except the motor vehicle let me register it.. one day i woke up n my car was missing from my house n the police told me it was a stolen car.. i only got about 550 dollars back from the state taxes i paid from registering it
I bought a clean titled 14 5.7 enforcer for 1800
Can you get a refund if you do it with a cashier check from the bank?
Poor little fella. Mom, dad, uncle, aunt should have told him NEVER buy or carry that much cash to buy a car from a private owner. Even buying through a dealership should be done with a cashier's check
So you had 27k cash for a car @ 18 yrs old, but didn’t have the common sense to ask the seller if he had a clean title before purchasing?
My thing is where was is people not to advise him not to buy that with in the quickness I would have told him a big NOPE
At 99k miles on it Jeep SRT for $27k isnt a too good to be true deal.
It was a challenger I believe
That sucks u should do a go fund me for him..
That crazy 27,000 that a lot too be gone that fast I be so 😡 mad
You buy a used car...... do it at the court house or DMV. Show seller the money and if it checks out.... hand it over. Only way I'll buy from a private party. You never know how legit it is until your at the DMV
He took a striker to the Secretary of State😭 🤦🏾♂️
Wow that crazy 😳
Man paying 27 thousand cash and not doing you due diligence. I guess it’s true a fool and his money are soon parted.
🤷🏾♂️ bruh, no title?!? Common sense should've kicked in. Am I suppose to feel bad?😂
I've purchased 4 cars and sold one on Ebay motors...zero problems👍If I ever sell it, that's how it will be done.
Really I was looking into ebay
eBay is trustable source, Facebook marketplace and Craigslist not so much
How he buy the truck with no title. Smh. Clown.
😂😂😂
Wowww that is crazy crazy..the owner maybe in on it..
He could of put that 27 down and got a new one instead of one with 100k miles
I wouldn't pick up nothing for free off FB marketplace. Sorry young king. Stack the money back and pick up something better .
What if the owner got his cousin to steal it, then reported it stolen, then got the money and the car back, all in one day
I would’ve took $10k out of that $27k and put down on a new one or at least one with less miles.
I feel bad for the kid but, Why did he not get the title when he bought the car? When you buy a used car from somebody you need to get the title? You got to bring somebody with you if you don’t know.
start a go fund me for this kid
This is my son he's talking about. He is very bright and the only mistake he made was trusting someone😭.
Why give someone our money cuz he didn't use his wisely? Who is buying a hellcat engine for 27k... This constantly happens and people keep falling for it.
@@lauragrossman7403 Hard way to start his adult life, but he will remember this as never trust anyone, no one has your best interest in this life except for yourself.
@@bhagrt was not a hellcat jeep, had the 6.4. But no need for a go fund me I don't have my hands out asking for help in this situation because at the end of the day I put myself in it. Just going to have to make the money back these next few months!
@@charliez6351 im sorry this happened to u bro, i bet you’ll have the greatest comeback of all time fr
Never pay cash💀💀💯
Well, well, well...
We needa start a go fund me for that lil dude
ask up front to see the title
Definitely should do a go fund me…..
I need help so is $33k for a 2018 Chrysler 300 swap ?
Cars like that just go to the dealership half time most of the time them cars stolen or something wrong with them no 🧢
Sucks that happen to him, but red flag, he should have known bc theres no way that guy had a title to the car. Unless there's away to make a fake title.
Why did he go buy a car with no title in the first place 🤦🏽♂️
😂😂😂😂 that’s crazy
Look at this point Facebook marketplace needs to be held accountable for this need to put policies in place just like craigslist
Should set up a gofund me
What about the title did they give him a fake one ??🤔
A simple carfax check would show if it was stolen because it has been reported to Insurance
Nope, carfax didn't show it as stolen but thanks.
@@lauragrossman7403 well the insurer or the police department dropped the ball on that because its supposed to have a nationwide report on the vin once it gets reported. Sorry that happened to you.
When I sold all
My cars on Facebook marketplace I have everyone meet me at the bank to do the sales
where was the title?
He was given a title.
Brother, I enjoy watching your channel because just like you, I learn a thing or two. Keep spreading the word. Eventually everyone will get it.
They guy is dumb for not getting the title and going to the Courthouse with the guy to get it switched over. Fool wouldn't have left my site until all that was done, PERIOD!
No title When u buy a car ?
27k dude should have known it was a stolen
You know not to buy anything on Facebook marketplace
Homeboy should have done his homework. Got finessed out of 27k and possibly got charged
I dont get the fascination in these cars, they come with wayyy too much bullshit, its way better cars you can go buy
He ain’t give him the title
It’s terrible but just know this is going to be a cashless trust system society incoming paper cash is on borrow time ⏰
Deserved it if it’s too good to be true it probably is .
Sucks and wrong but at least being 18, he can walk away with a valuable life lesson. Cash transactions always are a red flag. (heck just showing up with that amount of cash could have gone much worse)
Let’s be honest the 18 year old is stupid, why tf didn’t you just put down on one my guy you had $27,000🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔
Damn dude must of gave him a fake title too, I wish ppl would learn about vin checks
Man i dont know what i would do
My friend had the same thing happened to him got a nice jeep. Pad cash for it got the keys and title. But he done the same thing and it came back stolen and he went to jail for it. And got charged for it. So he lost his money and the jeep
When you buy a car ,, before giving up cash , have the vin check the day before or tell whoever you buying from, meet me at the police station, that way there, you will know if they serious
wait what about the cat title?
Why are ppl
Buying cars off fb marketplace 😂😂😂 I’ve always went to the dealer ppl a just so stupid
U got 27k you coulda went to the dealership and put that dwn on one
What do people be thinking
Why haven't you mentioned the title in this whole video??? Did the stolen Jeep come with a title??? A vehicle isn't worth anything without the title....... This story doesn't make sense.
Yes, it had a title.
