Looking back, this game had some very witty and snappy dialogue for a game of its time. Sure lots of games in 2000 had good dialogue - but Joanna’s dialogue felt particularly clever (Lights out! Me and my big mouth! They should keep you away from mirrors...)
The HD remaster ruined so many of the character faces. Like they don't look anything close to how they look in the original game. I'm wondering if they didn't have the rights to use the face models. Joanna Dark just straight up looks awful, did the people designing her not see a single piece of original artwork? My god is it bad. Next we have Trent Easton. Holy bucks is this one bad too. He looks actually worse in HD than he did in the original. WTF is that face model? And finally they did Mr. Blondie dirty. The HD model looks like a discount backstreet boy. They even reimagined his outfit wrong. He's not wearing a grey turtleneck in the original, and his white coat does not have those crappy buttons. It's just all wrong. Shame on the developers for f'ing this up so bad. I hope someone does a mod and puts in more accurate faces, cause holy f does this make me never want to play this remaster.
