    So the correct torque spec for the T70
    Front Differential Drain Plug is: 51.6 lb-ft
    75W-90 -> 3.5 quarts
    You may want to purchase a new rear diff drain plug they are super cheap, and I don’t know how you will ever get that out again

    Very good and informative video guys. Just wanted to add that you should always check the gap before installing new spark plugs. Yes they come "pre-gapped", but while they're being shipped around from factory to distributor to you, the gap can sometimes close down. It only takes a moment to check the gap. Over the 36 years I've been working on my cars I've certainly come across a few plugs that the gap needed to be adjusted. Other than that, keep up the great work guys!!! 😁👍👍

      Thanks Joe! We'll definitely look into buying a gap measurement set

    Did my spark plugs 30k and it was a pain. I gotta do everything else. I got the drain valve and over torque it so that washer that came with it started dripping oil. I replaced it with the oem crush washer. It worked perfectly and no leaks.

    • @WRXGarage
      @WRXGarage  4 года назад +1

      Yeah.. the spark plugs are so annoying to get to on these cars! And yes, make sure to not overtorque the oil drain plug!!! In the video you'll see how surprised I am at how low the torque feels.

    I believe my '19 WRX doesn't say to do plugs or fluid at 30k. oil and filters, yes, but the fluid is at 60k. Maybe I'm missing something. I changed my GTI's "lifetime" trans fluid at 7 years w/factory juice and all seemed well....I'm at 43k miles right now at my 3 year point this month...

      It all depends on how hard you drive the car. If it's just a simple daily, following the 30k suggestion is completely fine. I track my car and push it hard which puts a lot more heat and strain into all of the components. Because of that I change the fluids a lot more frequently just to make sure everything stays healthy

      Nope, the difference in angle actually helps with drainage.

    You shouldn't have to replace your plugs at 30K miles, that is for the 60K service.

    • @WRXGarage
      @WRXGarage  3 года назад

      You don't necessarily have to, but why wouldn't you to keep your car healthy? Especially with a boxer engine..

    • @somersfamily
      @somersfamily 2 года назад +1

      My plugs went out or one did at 48k and I changed them and it fixed the codes and my issue. I don't go off of the 60k . These Cars are to damn finicky and picky so I make sure all this crap is done months in advance. But I still have a weird issue i can't figure out yet lol. But that's just me

    • @WRXGarage
      @WRXGarage  2 года назад +1

      Make sure you're getting your spark plugs from a reputable seller, not from ebay or amazon. They're really commonly cloned so that could be your issue

    • @somersfamily
      @somersfamily 2 года назад

      @@WRXGarage I got the same ones here from auto zone. Like the in this vid. But I think my issue may have been really crap gas or the senor I just cleaned ( map and mas) I've had the car sinse April 2017 new and never had an issue . But the other week I had a horrible feedback knock going on and a pinging sound . Got it 2 times , ran the gas all the way down went back to shell and cleaned those sensors and it went away for right now. But I'm gonna invest in the e tune very soon. I just didn't know if I had to had walnut cleaning done before the tune . I'm at 54k right now. Only have stage 1 maperformance for the last 4 years and exhaust. No j pipe. But I appreciate your info my dude! Your car is pretty

    • @WRXGarage
      @WRXGarage  2 года назад

      Thank you! Yeah bad gas is definitely a common issue. Are you running 91 or 93?
