A good idea when removing several screws is to get a small magnetic tray to keep them in until needed. The magnet both holds the tray to any metal surface and also holds the screws to keep them from leaving the crime scene before needed.
Another little trick if you are tearing down to make a list of needed parts: use little ziplock bags to hold screws and other small parts like clips etc. Then mark each bag as to where the parts are from. That way, if you have to wait a day or 4 for parts, you won't have to strain to recall what fastener goes where.
Maybe sometime you could explain why and when your passion for Mercedes Benz began. There evidently is a story behind it. No one just accidentally becomes a devotee of one car marquee.
Is there some how you could mount the camera to your head or something? You do a number of things with the camera not aimed very well. I understand you hold it with one hand. I suggest that you mount it some how. I love your videos but please try to do something about that. Thanks.
Wow, Mike knows every screw location and size! He is the Mark Worman of Mercedes. But I do see a problem here - when you lay your tools on a towel, it will ruin the towel- Negative ion exchange will permeate the terry cloth nubs with steel micro chips and when you wipe the sweat off your brow it will scathe your face and make it turn red. Now you know. 😨... (just trying to help).
I own 2. Mercedes Benz cars. A 1993 300CE and. 2011 a S550 4 Magic. Trying to find a wind screen that sits behind the front seats for the 300. Can’t find one anywhere. Any suggestions?
My email is rjfscooter@gmail.com. My name is Roger. I have been looking for about a year. If you run across one, please let me know and I will purchase it from you or from wherever you saw it. I would really appreciate it. That is one of the last things I need to finish my interior project. Some of the smallest pieces were the most expensive. You know that of course. Thank you for your suggestion.
I found a new one for $385 on EBAY but if I can find a used one it would work better. Haven’t had to buy new so far and would like to keep that going. But if I can’t find one for a month or so, I will but new. Thanks.
You need to get a little tray that has a magnet on the bottom of it for metal screws and things . Then go to Dollar store get your self a few like aluminum cooking Pan's I get the pack of two The got tall side's and be used over and over used one when I took a Carburetor a part or anything else to keep thing together . Or just use a plastic container from some food item .
You are VERY entertaining! So glad that Randy recommended you! 😊
Thanks Joanne!!

Mike, indulge yourself in the tedium of taking that switch assembly apart for cleaning and possible repair. Many switch assemblies come apart easily.

In this episode, Mike begins to remove a door panel, and discovers he has some loose screws!
You need a portable Swamp Cooler at least or AC portable unit on a cart so you not fry or get a big fan like Scoty Killmore videos on RUclips .
Great idea!
