Yeah!!! 1000% I worked up the nerve to talk to him at Glasslands in Brooklyn like 10 years ago and he was super chill and apparently he's not doing some weird tunings...it blows my mind.
As someone who used to read Give Yourself Goosebumps books as a kid and a diehard Owls fan, this is one of the greatest and most accurate comments I've ever seen on RUclips.
Ugh, oh god. I didn't miss live concerts since COVID until I saw this. I bought a plane ticket to Chicago to go their Owls 2 album release show and stole a flyer. I also ditched an all ages show Owls at N.6th in Brooklyn because these brace-faced Long Island kids in line in front of me made me want to die.
Sam's bassplaying on Two sounds like it's coming from some alien radio station that only bass sounds can tune into. Just insanely creative stuff with the instrument.
Go check out Mike Moreno if you want to hear a jazz-genius version of Victor. VV is a great indie guitarist, though. No one really like him, even in the realm of math rock.
Victor Villarreal is a genius
Yeah!!! 1000%

Grande Matías, no sé cómo llegue aquí pero me encanta tu canal, está la raja
This song is like a choose your own adventure book and 4 friends read it but all took different paths and some how found their way to the same ending.

Digging the bongo guy just chilling in the back with sunglasses on and his arms crossed
This music almost makes the 20th century worth it.
Owls is a supergroup. Holy moly.

Is it really a supergroup if its really all rotating members of the same band? 😂 (Cap’n Jazz/Joan Of Arc)

Mamma mia!
Sam's bass lines tho
tone, time, notes, space, the total bass package... I DIG IT
Glad I saw them with Mike
I can listen/watch them perform anything. The Kinsella's are the shit

Almost an older Tony Pastor in a literal sense of understanding with heart.
Davey on the drums.
*Cap N' Jazz reunited.
Dean Anderson I thought mike was the cap n jazz drummer ?
@@leonardpersin9694 he was, but davey played guitar in cap'n - also tim didn't play guitar in cap'n anyway
Not all bald guys are Davey. That’s not Davey.
I'm joking man. I know davey and he was the guitarist. And mike was the drummer.
WHO IS THIS DRUMMER PERSON THAT ISN'T MIKE?
Marc Riordan, and he's kick ass.
I simply MUST know what type of les paul Victor is playing!
LP Studio

Joan of Arc/Owls/Make Believe is the greatest Kinsella band.
