To me Ignis' Transformation is more similar to Sage Mode Expecially due to the Time Limit, if he sacrifices his life then is more like 7 Gates Opening.

Dunno I really like the fact that the final and ultimate baddie is actually no different from you - a straight 1v1 with two guys fighting on the same level, none of them being different from each other besides their motives.

The Mystic: is the Founder King, aka Somnus, who Ardyn sees as a backstabbing little shit who stole the throne. And when the Starscourge came up, he burned anyone and everyone even suspected of being afflicted with it, while Ardyn healed the people afflicted with it. There's more to it than that, of course, but out of the three, the Mystic is what we know about most now.
Ardyn was rejected by the Crystal because he absorbed Daemons into his body. Remember: Ardyn made a choice, and it was to absorb the scourge. The consequence: he became the very disease the Crystal was meant to purge.
yeah FFXV is far from finished... shame tbh, this content is briliant and all but it didn't need a Royal Edition disc release... just needed the Windows Edition

Alot of people seem to be worried about why these guys are even here and if it messes up with the canon. But don't worry, it doesn't. SPOILERS FOR KINGGLAIVE. If you remember the movie where Nyx summons the kings of old to beat back the diamond weapons. I theorise that Ardyn might have possessed some of them for this fight. I distinctly remember the fierce, the rogue and the mystic in that final battle. And if your wondering about how they were massive and now smaller. I think they weren't actually statues but more like spirits. So they could magically change size. I guess.
I really wish they had this in the original release of the game. This makes the journey to the end of the game looks so epic and feel much more rewarding. sigh
Yup, ff15 royal edition is the full game and everything else before that rightly got criticism, but the full version of the game, albeit a few isssue is an an amazing game
You can probably stick with the vanilla game. These fights were kinda shoehorned in. More difficult than arydn for sure too. Same goes for the one alternative chapter. If you want to play through the game again, sure!
Something I came up with as cool would be that you weren´t able to activate the armiger in those battle, as if you did they syphon you armiger energy or something like it, that way it would add an edge to the battle.
I think the Kings of Yore should be post-game content , like a superboss , not far-fetched with what we see in Data-Organization in KH2. After beating The Father , that should be the last and most powerful of the 13 Kings , we should receive the capacity to summon the Kings in the same as the Astrals and a Third Arminger that could use the kings like a Stand or Persona. For our battle with The Father , would be cool if his Phase 1 have Glaives's casting , while Phase 2 be making him a wall while a bunch of phantom kingsglaive attack us , in the end Phase 3 be Arminger but with totally different 13 weapons.
PhantasosX Games I think it would be cool to have both, what we have here (the 3 in storyline) and the others as secret bosses. It would be cool to have them as the "Knights of the Round" since they are based on them and as their attack have them use Ultimate End

For all of you wondering what Izunia and lucis Caellum mean. Izunia is true Surname ( last name ) of Ardyn and his brother that betrayed him . Now , Ardyn Izunia is his true name before he was supposed to 've chosen by the crystal . And his brother was Somnus Izunia. Now when Somnus was chosen as the first king of the Crystal. He was probably given by the crystal or he gave it to his own self the name 'Lucis Caelum ' which means bright sky . He was sorta baptized and given a new name and the name we all know 'Lucis Caelum' . Now this last name was supposed to be given to Ardyn . Hence the bloodline passed on to all kings and queens of yore and they were all known as lucis caelum . The point , Noctis's true name before it got changed by the inheritance of the power from the crystal is Noctis Izunia.

It's better to think of it more as 2 bosses and a mini boss rush (rulers of yore) because they feel like 3 phases of a single good boss dragged out into 3 different bosses.
When i was playing this Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition i havent seen this scene & even not found this bosses or either found or open the secret underground passage hideout in lucis even i finish the game & also i never foynd the statue where the true aminger & also never found the new bosses like cerberus & others... how can i only see this by playing it again on New Game plus?

they restarted production in 2014 and even in 2015 they have still made major changes in the development. the whole development was a disaster. there is an insider on reddit, who claims to have worked on the game. He said that even months before the release there were story changes. so blame the management and square for their unprofessional execution
Played ffxv when it first came out and thought it was dogshit. Heard about the royal edition years ago and said nah then ffxvi came out and saw it was ps5 exclusive something I don't have. It got me itching to play a ff game and the steam summer sale is going on and i saw the royal edition was on sale so i scooped that shit up and now i'm here. It's just absolutely amazing seeing all the new things they added. Iggy, Gladio, and Prompto carry this game so damn hard. This should've been here at release. It probably would've made a way better first impression.
The lifespawn of this game was an entire decade, there is no excuse to see a main FF game so incomplete. I understand Tabata and his dev team side, but the game had so many plot holes that it feels like you're playing an empty game with a pointless journey.
Im gonna buy the next version when the game is complete. 2020 maybe. I hope that chapters 1 through 9 will be worth something then. As someone who was only interested in the story the game started at chapter 9 and was only a few hours long. The second health bar is still stupid. It's impossible to die in this game. no joke. Do the hunter mission where you need to fight 7 Wyvern a few times and sell the wings. doing the hunt once already allows you to buy 99 potions. Doing the mission once and selling the wings earns you about 12.500 gil. You can buy 12 Phoenix Downs with it.
Yeah, I'm really glad the game I waited a decade for, paid $100+ dollars for in 2016 is finally, kind of, but not really until 2019 complete! And it's only an extra $75 more to play. Fuck Square-Enix.

When i was playing this Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition i havent seen this scene & even not found this bosses or either found or open the secret underground passage hideout in lucis even i finish the game & also i never foynd the statue where the true aminger & also never found the new bosses like cerberus & others... how can i only see this by playing it again on New Game plus?

they restarted production in 2014 and even in 2015 they have still made major changes in the development. the whole development was a disaster. there is an insider on reddit, who claims to have worked on the game. He said that even months before the release there were story changes. so blame the management and square for their unprofessional execution

I feel like the Royal Edition should have Been Free.
Played ffxv when it first came out and thought it was dogshit. Heard about the royal edition years ago and said nah then ffxvi came out and saw it was ps5 exclusive something I don't have. It got me itching to play a ff game and the steam summer sale is going on and i saw the royal edition was on sale so i scooped that shit up and now i'm here. It's just absolutely amazing seeing all the new things they added. Iggy, Gladio, and Prompto carry this game so damn hard. This should've been here at release. It probably would've made a way better first impression.

The lifespawn of this game was an entire decade, there is no excuse to see a main FF game so incomplete. I understand Tabata and his dev team side, but the game had so many plot holes that it feels like you're playing an empty game with a pointless journey.

Im gonna buy the next version when the game is complete. 2020 maybe. I hope that chapters 1 through 9 will be worth something then. As someone who was only interested in the story the game started at chapter 9 and was only a few hours long. The second health bar is still stupid. It's impossible to die in this game. no joke. Do the hunter mission where you need to fight 7 Wyvern a few times and sell the wings. doing the hunt once already allows you to buy 99 potions. Doing the mission once and selling the wings earns you about 12.500 gil. You can buy 12 Phoenix Downs with it.

Yeah, I'm really glad the game I waited a decade for, paid $100+ dollars for in 2016 is finally, kind of, but not really until 2019 complete! And it's only an extra $75 more to play.
