Great mouse for gaming. I really recommend it, as I can get up to 2 clicks per second. The no lack of buttons makes it good too. It's also wireless and its slim and if you try to move the cursor it moves 10 seconds after your action.

At first, I was appalled at the location of the charging port. But, then it's not much of a problem if it can charge for two minutes to obtain nine hours of operation. And you can charge it fully overnight and it will last for quite a while. A very long battery life along with fast charging times pretty much negates the silliness of the charging port location.

I really miss the Mighty Mouse. It was bigger, more fuller hands. The 2 AA batteries gave it the weight making it easier to get accuracy while moving without increasing the response time to robotic level. Apple needs to make this bigger and add weight.

as someone who owns a lot of premium equipment such as Razor Black Mamba and MX S2 and Hyperion Fury mouse and Corsair 7.1 witless headset and other stuff, I can without a doubt say apple products are of supreme quality to them all hands down. as far as quality and advanced design, apple completely dominates the market (they are the only brand that thaught to use a mouse as a track pad, a good example why apple is ages ahed of its competitors, to to mention the fact that apple mouse does it all with just 1 button, all other brand of choice everywhere have 2, because windows is still stuck with their 1992 functionality)

I just purchased one last night after using the corded apple mouse for a long time. This mouse is a game-changer for me. Especially because I travel a lot and use my laptop during flights. With the limited space provided, I no longer run out of runway while completing some commands.

I actually think these mice are a substantial choice for productivity. While many consider it to be one of the worst mice out there, it has some neat little quirks other mice don't. For starters, it can scroll horizontally. The Magic Mouse also is recharageable, which means no longer lugging around double a batteries. The "silliness" of the charging point because quickly irrelevant when you learn it has a surprisingly long battery life. With it being able to hold 9 hours of use with only 5 minutes of charging, that's pretty good. I have the black version and its my go-to mouse to use with my 2020 MacBook Pro (13-inch).
My Corsair mouse lasts 50 hours on Bluetooth and has so much more functionality including remappables for $5 less. The mouse is genuinely the worst choice you could probably make for this price point.
I'm glad I have hands different than most people, since I've been using my magic mouse for going on 4-5 years now without any issues. Obviously not magic mouse 2, but only difference is it's AA battery powered. I just float my fingers over it, and not palm it/manhandle it. Maybe that's the difference?

Just got a black Magic Mouse 2 for my MacBook Pro. It provides better precision when doing video editing. Still not sure why Apple charges $25 more for the black model over the white model.
This mouse just proves how far Apple gots his head up it's arse nowadays. I believe that the ergonomical design is very very bad. Visual design seems more important than the real design. I've used a gaming mouse for quite some time. I swapped to the Apple Mouse 1. My hand get's tired very quick, you need to press way too hard to click. Big upside is the touchscreen but I dont get why they give it a more friendly design for your hand instead of the looks. Also, the mouse speed is so slow.

We use these at work. they connect instantly and if you're a graphic designer you need a mouse that can scroll in any direction. It's really helpful.

I literally just realised almost everyone uses Logitech for editing, and for me, I use their gaming lineup like the G100s and the G230 to play games.

Just got a black Magic Mouse 2 for my MacBook Pro. It provides better precision when doing video editing. Still not sure why Apple charges $25 more for the black model over the white model.

I got a new apple computer yesterday with a magic mouse and a magic keyboard
I tried the older generation then I switched to a $3 HP mouse and it's lighter faster and has a USB cable so I don't have to worry about charging it.
no butterfly mechanism for the keyboard? no forcetouch for the magic mouse? how can i charge and use the mouse? :D epicfail

This mouse just proves how far Apple gots his head up it's arse nowadays. I believe that the ergonomical design is very very bad. Visual design seems more important than the real design. I've used a gaming mouse for quite some time. I swapped to the Apple Mouse 1. My hand get's tired very quick, you need to press way too hard to click. Big upside is the touchscreen but I dont get why they give it a more friendly design for your hand instead of the looks. Also, the mouse speed is so slow.

I don't get why people hate the charging port position. Yes, it does look strange, but it charges very fast, so you can charge it for a bit then charge it when you go to sleep.
