You're right. This vocal is without equal. Even Elvis called Tom "The Voice".

Elvis and Tom became very close Friends. ❤ They lived nextdoor to each other when Elvis was making Movìes in Hollywood. Can you imagin the two of them hanging out at each others homes and Jamming together for hours, Oh to be a fly on that wall. 💗☺️

Love this song and Tom's Welsh voice ringing out.
He said he was in awe when he was told Elvis Presley wanted to meet him.
And he's still a coach on The Voice UK, singing while sat down.
Back in the day, singers used their voices .. no auto tune, no equipment and that's why the music was the best!
    Fabulous reaction. Thank you x

Even now at 84 Tom deeply believes his voice was a gift from God and gives thanks for it every day. He also hopes he has done as much as he should have with it. He is still singing, maybe not quite as he did once but he is still powerful and still moves thousands with the emotion and truth he conveys through music. Thanks for your reaction!

I was young when he was a huge hit. I Love every song he has sung. His voice literally goes right through you. No one can sing like he can.

So glad you heard this…we lived through the greatest musical decades of all time, 60’s 70’s 80’s and the birth of rock and roll and all that came with it. ELECTRIC GUITAR changed everything. The Beatles were the first band I saw and loved, so personally, I would listen to albums in order…

The “This is Tom Jones” tv show was must watch television when I was a kid. He was amazing and my Mum had a mad crush on him, which my father found highly amusing. Thanks for the memory!🎶😂

Ladies used to throw their undies to him on stage performing live. In the 60s! But, he has one of the greatest voices of all time.

SO many great songs by Mr. Jones and in his 80s, he is still going strong! He is currently out on tour in Canada and the U.S. One of my favourite songs from him is "I, Who Have Nothing." He also had a television show that aired in the U.S. from 1969 to 1971, where he invited all the great singers of the time to his show (like Stevie Wonder, Janis Joplin, Cher, The Who, etc.) and sang duets with him, all of which are available on RUclips.

Tom is a wonderful singer. I think we became so obsessed with the idea of singer songwriters that we forgot that the two skills don't really go together. The best singers mostly just sing.
I have a duet for you of the greatest male and female singers of the Jazz age, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerard. We'll really its a trio because Louis was also the greatest trumpet player too, and this song features him demonstrating that to. It is Summertime from 1957 ruclips.net/video/LDF4_qVgbFU/видео.htmlsi=8R1aEy0DwXZyGN6Q

Sir Tom Jones was on The Voice and mate, the son of the person that wrote that song. It was beautiful to watch.

Sir Tom Jones is a judge on the UK version of 'The Voice' and he sang this with the son of the song writer who was Lonnie Donegan (a singer in his own right). He is over 80 now and sounds just the same. Another great Welsh singer is Dame Shirley Bassey who sang 3 James Bond themes. You should listen to her sing 'Goldfinger' and 'Diamonds Are Forever' from her early years. She is now 87 and sings these songs and sounds nearly the same but has lost a lot of the mannerisms she does with the songs.

I'm not being combative but he has said multiple videos that this older music is completely new to him. He is just digging into all the greats. Many you have mentioned and I am sure he will explore and discover many others as well. Maybe we should give him a chance to get there✌️
