“The Righteous Brothers” are considered by most to be the Greatest Male Vocal Duo Of All Time. I agree. Between Bill Medley’s Lows and Bobby Hatfield’s Highs they can hit every note on an 73 key piano. No other male singers can do that. Dagmar. Listen to Austin Brown. I agreed with you until I heard Austin sing it with only a simple but beautiful electric guitar to accompany him. Some of the notes that he hit without going falsetto or unbelievable
Listen to the original "Unchained Melody" by Al Hibbler. He was a blind black singer in the 1950's. The first concert I ever went to in 1955. My Dad took me. It's called "blue-eyed soul". This song is from the 1955 movie "Unchained". It is sang from the viewpoint of convict Steve Davitt, who wonders if his wife, and family will be there, still, waiting for him when he is released. It has been covered by over 500 artists, including Elvis, and is widely considered Bobby Hatfield's song, because of this performance!
This is a truly great song, and here we're treated to the very best version at least to me. Also, we have to keep in mind that these songs were sung with less superior mikes than those of today and no computer help or other singer aids of recent years

Originally written for the movie "Unchained" in 1955. Sung by a number of different artists in the 50's. In my opinion, sung best by Bobby Hatfield in this video. The Righteous Brothers was a duet of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. Bobby sung this song solo. Without a doubt one of the most perfectly sung songs by any artist. It was made popular again by the 1990 movie "Ghost". FYI - audiences in the day used to sit silently to enjoy the music and out of respect to the artist.
I was 17 in 1965. This was typical of the kind of great vocal music we listened to on the radio every day - from solos like this to the great girl groups to Motown to the Beatles! This followed the greatest vocal song era of all time - the 1940's and 50's!

when was the last time the youth got to hear romantic music like this ? . . 30 yrs ago ? 40 ?
No auto tune, no post effects, all talent.
This is a truly great song, and here we're treated to the very best version at least to me. Also, we have to keep in mind that these songs were sung with less superior mikes than those of today and no computer help or other singer aids of recent years
Elvis sang this song live, 6 weeks before he died. His body was shot, but the voice was still there
🥰🥰🥰love this, grew up on this genre of music!! Vocals are HEAVENLY 😇😍
The greatest performance of all time .
One of the best singers that ever lived! First time seeing you girls. I love you all and your vibe.
I absolutely love this unique form of entertainment watching our phenomenal woman enjoy and expound on such an amazing classic from another culture! Genius!!!!
Man, watching that beautiful girl smile with joy and then the tears spilling down her cheeks...wow. Amazing. The beauty of music and love transcends time, race, color, language...we are all one human family indeed.
Heard this as an oldie in the 60s and it is still one of my favorite romantic songs. My husband and I dance to this, usually in our backyard under a full moon. Got to keep the home fires burning and this song always does the trick! Thank you so much for sharing young ladies! 😽💋🎶
I got married 40 years ago in June and the band we picked sang this song and it was a wrap to this day 40 years later I still dance with my wife to it !!! although I can't hit the high notes anymore, she still hugs me tight and lets me sing and we are 40 years younger for a moment in time!!!
I still get chill bumps when I hear this even after all these years.
Amazing oldie but goodie. It's amazing to me that it's still so moving so many years later.
It's so nice to see younger generations discovering great music that I grew up with. There is a UNIVERSE of great music that they have never been exposed to ,and I'm so glad there are some interested enough to research it. Bobby Hatfield will dearly be missed. What a gift he had. Another one of his songs that really shows his abilities is called " There will be Bluebirds Over the White Cliffs of Dover" Enjoy
I remember watching this on the Andy Williams show in 1965. I was fourteen. No auto tune just talent!
Superbe performance !
Peace all 🇨🇵

This was the theme song to my Highschool prom back in 99 lol. This was a great era in music. Musicians back them actually had talent, and class
hello girls, looking good.. this was a big hit. A very good singer.
Beautiful faces are even more beautiful when you smile. Please suggest your friends smile.
My soul sisters from Naija feeling unchained melody, keep it real😎👌
I loved watching the three of you , swaying together in time, and the beautiful smiles.
I've loved this song since it came out. But every time I hear it now it transports me to the movie Ghost and I get teary-eyed.
So you loved it in its flute form... Because that was the original not this version
This old lady can tell you wr all wanted him to be singing about us. We swooned. Soul and Inspiration and Rock n Roll Heaven are two more I think you'd like. And Bring Back That Lovin Feeling.
Andy Williams show live with mom in audience. One of the best live, one takes in history. The little lip bite at the end means " I nailed it".
Este es el tema más romántico de la historia de la música excelente interpretacion
Check out YOU’VE LOST THAT LOVING FEELING by the Righteous Brothers. It is a black and white video from December 1964. You will see both members of the Righteous Brothers performing.
lmao they will lose their panty
Omg the way he bit his lip on the last note made me weak n the knees…..damn he was fine❤❤❤and wow what a voice…. Amazing❤
Second he started singing, middle girl melted instantly. This song serenades you and makes you feel weak. Without fail. ❤
Hands down the best live performance of all time.
The 50’s and the 60’s was real music to listen to and easy to dance too also.
He sings so beautifully and he was a gorgeous man! ❤️
Bobby Hatfield, the pride of Anaheim California. My father grew up with him on the same street!
The woman in the middle has a light in her soul and really feels it. The other two are there
I was 11 when this song came out and it moved me then and still moves me today. Beautiful voice even live and it brings me to tears now, memories
I was 17 in 1965. This was typical of the kind of great vocal music we listened to on the radio every day - from solos like this to the great girl groups to Motown to the Beatles! This followed the greatest vocal song era of all time - the 1940's and 50's!
Great reaction girls ❤️ and may I say you all look beautiful 🥰
Can't never get enough of them
Love them truly
The song that make me remember from the past 😢. It just sound so beautiful!
My favorite love song of all time ❤ Cried when Bobby Hatfield passed. Rest in peace Bobby Hatfield. I love you ❤️!
I was expecting more reaction from you girls, two on outer ends just sat there, I saw RB in person, awesome, Ive watched other You Tube groups watch and give their opinion and they were jumping up for joy screaming at his great voice, you girls on each end need a cup of coffee to wake up..
He wasn't even trying but was still hitting every note perfectly.
This is the only live performance that I actually seek out over the original recording
I was fifteen years old when I watched this fantastic performance on the Andy Williams show! No auto tune just Talent!!
La plus belle chanson chantée par le plus grand chanteur de tout les temps👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏😇😇😇😇
Thank you for making this video, I enjoyed listening to this with you!
These ladies do not need to be qued...totally in touch...lovely...great all time favorite of mine.
The fabulous voice of Bobby Hatfield. This was LIVE TV and his mother was in the audience!
I'm not sure it's possible for a human not to like this song.
