- Currently building knives in AEB-L Stainless which I love working with.
Turns out to be an exceptional steel, tough with good edge retention and less prone to rusting the carbon tool steels.
I don't take orders just build knives in the time I have available and offer them for sale on the website www.jacklore.com
Check my instagram and I will also post a quick video here when I next have some knives available.
The knives are all hand made and in small numbers
Baby is beautiful, even if he is cranky. The knives are too. Your craftsmanship is amazing. Mandy looks very well.
Those are beautiful hand made tools Sandy. Keep family as close as possible in troubled times. The world is a little crazy on this side of the pond.
What a handsome boy!
Sandy your work is incredible as always! I wish I lived on that side of the pond so I could have a chance to purchase one of your beautiful classics.😊
The wee lad will grow into you Sandy, so don't fret. 👍🏼 When you hold up six classics with tapered tangs butted tight together and fanned out like that, it really does showcase the level of consistency you achieve in your tapers. Marvelous. 😀
The Whittlers are beautiful, Sandy. The masur birch is really complemented by the blue liners.
Awesome to see the apprentice even if he is cranky. Grandkids are gems. Very nice to see what you are working on. Yes sir, you are a very busy man with two channels, the love of your life and a grandson. Good thing you are in such good shape. Thanks for sharing. Tony.
Great update, don't know how you juggle everything in your life, videos on knife making, bike packing, dogs, motorcycling and family to name but a few. Your are a true inspiration. 👍
Oh, Sandy, as a loooong time viewer, it is still, as always, such a pleasure for me when a video from either of your channels pops up. I must say, although I enjoyed seeing your grandson, I was even happier to see how much better your left eye looks, and what a difference it makes to the expressivity of your face. You look so much heartier and happier than when the 'coin' was in the lid. Cheers to you.
How I wish I knew how get one of your knives. They are works of art that I couldn't NOT
put to use.
Beautiful, Sandy.
I love the masur birch on your whittlers in blue, stunning.
Best to your family and one day I might be lucky to get hold of one!
Thanks - Gray
Everytime we see your video, we just feel that we must have one of your masterpiece. Cheers from Australia.
Such a joy having young uns in the house. d;-)
Really love those blue liners with the Masur Birch - gorgeous!!
the apprentice is a nice name for a knife.
Top notch work sandy, the blue liners are different for sure. 👌 looks like you have got a lot to contend with right now, hope your feeling better and you guys are all good your end. 👍♥️🥰 love to all the family 😉
Great to see you again, Sandy, I hope you and Mandy are well. The knives are STUNNING! And the sheaths! Beautiful! Is your apprentice teething? All the best, Rob in Switzerland
Nice work Sandy! I've been dabbling in AEB-L as well. It heat treats well, and seems to make a fine blade with rather balanced qualities. Less expensive than powdered metals as well.
Incredibly nice knives and leather work Sandy. Great to see your family joining in the fun ..lol
Sandy, it has been years since I've been by. i guess it was back when you had the para glider and your knives are still just as solid. Good seeing you.
You sure have your hands full there Sandy. Good to see you. Lovely work as usual.
Sandy you are a very talented man , love both of your channels
Great to see your well, best wishes dave Chubb
AEBL? Welcome to the dark side. It is my most favorite steel almost all of my knives are made with it now.
Wow Sandy you really do have your hands full. Let us know if you need breaking out. I'll send our best men. I await further instructions. Don't forget your training and development of morse code. Stay strong and durable. Don't forget this to will pass. Good luck my friend. Ready to deploy as and when. Over and out. ✊😎.
Hey Ho... Grandpa. Life, a wonderful thing...!
He's grown quick! Frightening how time flies buddy. Cant wait to see what that stainless feels ro work with. Is it heat treated much differently to carbon steel Sandy? Hope you can knock up a video at some point on the stainless steel. Your mosaic pins look awesome...some people out there are in for a treat. Atb as always
Man that first little knife is beautiful 😍
Yea it’s been a while! Good to see you buddy!
Kid looks a lot like you! 🥹

More importantly hope you are feeling better and getting some rest matey 😴
Crying cause you wouldn't let him use that wonderful blade. Like I cry cause you won't send to the US...
Have you made the lad's first knife yet, and stored it for the future ?
Or is that still a project for the future.
Wooo Beautiful Whittler.
Well Done Lovely batch of knives. You are very busy man Sandy on your other channel too. With your hands full.😊
Aww little Chap Lewis.

Definitely a bit busy here Rosa
Beautiful knives sandy 👌 has the SF taken a back seat 🤔 I wonder if Lewis would take up the reigns,, are you visiting the bushcraftshow this year sandy 👍
Not much difference between the two steels Martin but sf100 from my supplier only comes in 3mm thickness whereas I can get AEB-L in both 3mm and 4mm so good for all my range of knives:)
Awww Bless.
He's a lovely lad really:)
Hi hi Jack nice to see you and the family keeping well thanks I would love to be able to buy a hunter knife from your self if you ever have one spare to sell. Thanks 🤙
