I still have it but use it less than I thought I would. It's sitting in a corner and I probably should find a permanent home for it. It would get used more if it was always ready to go with a chair permanently in front of it. 👍

Very nice. Love the hat! Also, toggle locks are the bomb. Been using one for years bolted to a 2x4.

Hopefully has metal inserts. The plastic easily wears and makes it an consumable. I like your aluminum sanding bar idea, except with long handles and different backers.

I think this should hold up fairly well. And I agree, just buying replacements would be fairly cheap.
